Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who cleared this up for me on the last thread! I thought it was the same old crap, but since I couldn't afford the feeds this year I wasn't completely sure. Then again, I probably shouldn't even have questioned it -- we all know she's batshit crazy!

I wonder how far she can go, with her accusations. The HGs pretty much sign their lives away, and it's my understanding that CBS controls their access to the media for a couple of years after the show.

As someone who was awake during Chima's downfall (but in bed right before Allison brought the hammer down -- damn!) I can agree that they were unbelievably kind in their edit of her. Girl was batshit crazy. They didn't even bring up her sitting on the washing machine to keep the Fab4 away from it, the moving of other people's clothes and the suspected MandM poisoning. Plus just her general demeanor of insanity was worse than the edit.

I think there was a lot more they could have included in their edit. I think that TPTB wanted to give people enough to believe that she was kicked out, not quit as she's been saying. I think it could have been a lot worse for Chima.

I am sadly disappointed that she hasn't "learned" from her experience...well maybe not sadly disappointed...shocked maybe? Her tweets don't seem to show that she's gained any perspective since leaving the show. I wonder how grandma has responded to her?

Also, did you notice how her buds all mentioned that there's "a door" you can walk out of? I've always heard that this is the case. That if you want to leave the show, you can push a button at the front door and walk out. At least I think it's the front door. If she wanted to quit, she could easily have done so.

One important part of the edit tonight: when they started calling her to the DR and she refused and then Allison came on the PA system, one of her last comments before she finally went was how she was planning to act up "all week". Immediately after that, she goes to the DR and they tell her to not bother sitting down. Yeah, you "quit" the show, Chima. Sorta like Sarah Palin "quit" running for Vice-President.

I don't think there is an eject button, any more. I seem to rememeber in some of the early seasons that there was a button in the BY, where a HG could just decide, at any time, to DOR. Now, they have a bunch of amateur psychologist Skippies who try to talk down anyone who says they want to go home.

You're probably right. But I still highly doubt that BB would flat-out refuse to comply if somebody went in, said they wanted to leave, and still insisted on a DOR after the psych intervention. I imagine that every single HG from every season has entered the DR at one time or another and said they wanted to leave, so of course they're not gonna fling a door open and call them a cab just for saying that. But if Chima seriously stated she wanted to quit, they'd have let her go. It's not as if she's shy, after all. She just wanted to mess with them and see how much they'd do to accommodate her hissy fits. She wanted to go out with a bang if she got evicted (which I assume she assumed she would). I don't think she seriously thought she'd be out the door and off the show in the manner she eventually was.

I think she got an extremely kind edit last night. It just laid out the facts: she's been a thorn in productions side since day one and it reached its breaking point.

She did say she wanted to leave, because how dare they (BB, Jeff?) usurp her power as HoH. Even though people tried to convince her otherwise, she knew she was done. However, she didn't want to be seen as the sore loser that she was, so she acted out. She knew that eventually, TPTB would get fed up and kick her out.

Of course I did love how Natalie was trying to blame Michele, because Michele apparently caused her to "snap." Lydia (who I think was a temporary PodLydia at the time), was the voice of reason, that Chima did it to herself ultimately. That no one else in this house could have made Chima do what she did, other than Chima.

She decided she didn't want to play because it wasn't going her way, and found a way to get herself removed from the game in a dramatical manner.

I think her edit was specifically oriented toward showing why she was expelled. They didn't bother showing all the other crap that she did and said because those things in and of themselves won't get someone thrown out. It's all the production stuff that was the issue and that's what they showed. In that sense, they really did give it to her with both barrels. But they couldn't really infer in any way that her "acceptable" BB behaviour was part of why she was expelled because it would give people the wrong impression that that behaviour is also expulsion worthy and I would think that might cause problems in the future.

Too bad they didn't interview her grandmother again. I'm sure she's VERY PROUD! *gag*

Although I do get a chuckle that she thinks somehow CBS has lost a valuable assest when she left/got booted. The reason it was ratings gold was simply that everyone loves a train wreck, and we got two for the price of one last night (Chima and Lydia).

That woman has emotional problems, serious emotional problems. I feel badly that I don't feel badly for her. I usually have empathy for people who have been tramatized, but not this shebitch. I believe she has more of the spoiled bitch persona than one of a victim. She could not handle the fact that America chose to throw her HOH aside and vote Jeff to replace her nom's. She was such a bitch to him during the vote.

Love how Lydia told her, there's the door and Gnatlie was about ready to snap. I also liked how they were all trying to say that it "dropped" into the water on accident - only a 20 foot distance, but it was a drop.... and poor KEvin.... I am so glad that Allison wouldn't even allow her to sit down in the DR. I rewound it several times to watch her attempt to sit and be told no. I could tell she knew that she was in out. She challenged them at every turn - it is TPTB fault that they allowed her to continue with her defiant attitude - because afterall, didn't they reward her with beauty products? I think *think* she thought if she put up a bitch fit and threatened them with ballistics - FCC fines, etc., they'd cater to her even moreso. hehehe backfired on her ass and so glad that they did.

I agree. She was allowed to call the shots from day 1 in that house, she probably thought they'd never say no to her. The beauty products, allowing her to take her sweet-ass-time getting to the DR, covering the cameras (WTF was she/they thinking with this one), bringing down the candy from the movie (which I don't think they've ever been allowed to do) and everything else she demanded and received; TPTB created that monster. I'm glad that it backfired on her, but I think it was a little late in happening.

I think she put on a much nicer front when she was interviewed and probably played up the strong survivor part of her story. Then she had Marcellus singing her praises to the casting people and she was in. Then, the real person was revealed.

What a nasty, hatelful example of a human being. I'm with other that say she's probably been a spoiled brat most of her life and then when the rape happened, her sense of entitlement and pampering from friends and family was ramped up to nth degree. The result? Ehat everyone witnessed while watching BB.

I didn't think I could dislike anyone more than Ronnie this season. Not so. Chima tops my list of most hated BB participants, from the seasons I've watched.

Proves nothing, Chima. Your issues with Russell were not based on strategy. They were personal, and you acted like a hysterical, self-centered, rage filled woman. EVERYONE, not just you, had concerns about Russell being trustworthy, as well as his strength in endurance comps. Your issue was also that you could not accept that Jeff used the coup d'etat, and went nuts when you were nominated.
