You know, I have to say...I really did not like Diane very much the first time around, but...she totally sold me. I think she gets my third female vote.

I'm actually thinking of voting for her because she has potential, but I hope she doesn't do the "boyfriend" thing again. she was pretty cool for the most part, I thought.

I know a lot of people didn't like Diane but I thought she was a great player until she let her feelings for Drew distract her. I'd love to see her get another chance. Also, I thought her interview segments were the funniest on tonight's show.

Will will have her for breakfast and then spit her out. While enjoyable I don't think she will be up for the challenge.

I went from despising her to loving her during her season, but I don't think she's grown up much. I do, however, think she's better entertainment than Ali, Monica or Dana.

She's much more tolerable than Dana, I'm undecided on her...She was a good player most of the time & would be interesting to see her play without assface Drew.

I LOVED Diane and I hope to see her back in the house. She hated Scott, Holly, and Jase, and stood up to them, which cemented my love. When she came on last night I was so excited. She was a pretty good player until she got caught up in Drew, so it would be interesting to see how she would act without him. Even though I don't want Jase in, I think it would be interesting to see how he and Diane would interact.

I don't really like her very much. I just remember how she would yell at everyone. And she didn't side with Nakomis. I think I'm still harboring bad feelings for ger from 2 years ago.
I don't really care to see her in the house. She's too much of a bully.

I reread what I posted and I could see how someone could think I was talking about "ironing my stonwashed jeans while listening to Dana Carter's Strawberry Wine on repeat," but seriously people..... what kind of sicko do I look like?

I don't think she'll get my vote, but her new teeth do look a little better.

One of the Atlanta morning DJs is a cohost with BB5 Gay!Will on his syndicated radio show, Twist. I was just listening on the way home and each week each of the three hosts does a "Twist List." Will's number one was voting for Diane, "one of his very best friends" to get back into the House. He even had Diane on the phone and asked her why people should vote for her and specifically why the gay community should vote for her. She said that all her best friends are gay. Isn't that what they all say?

Many of my votes will go for Diane because I still feel like she lost BB5 through no (or very little) fault of her own. I watched many hours of feeds of Drew and Diane that year and I was still totally shocked when he chose Cowboy. It was quite a snowjob so I never blamed her for trusting him. She just plain didn't win the final HoH, we saw her decide against throwing it. The last time she had power was when she won that veto and chose to save Cowboy over Nakomis, which I still think was a fair bet since Nakomis might have taken Cowboy to the final over Diane and definately would've been harder to beat for final HoH. I will never forget her standing and holding that button for hours on end while Jase went totally nuts. She stood up to him and got him out, despite it not being in Drew's best interest, she always played for herself first. I believe there are points in BB where you have to trust somebody, especially since you can't win back-to-back HoH's for most of the season, and Drew seemed as trustworthy as anyone else. Of all the female "villains" (villainesses?) CBS might choose to cast, she and Danielle are the only 2 that don't grate on my nerves. Just my two cents.

I don't like Diane. I don't hate her like some of the other candidates, but I still don't want to see her in the house. I do agree that she played a decent game. The problem was she wasn't screwed over by Drew; she screwed herself over when she decided to play a game to get Drew to the end, which she succeeded at beyond her wildest dreams.

Diane was warned repeatedly by members of her alliance (Will, Nak, Karen), who she assured over and over again that Drew was not a priority, that she should be suspicious of her reality tv romance and Drew's motives. She refused to listen and then proceeded to backstab each of them for Drew.

Drew never had the devotion to her that she had to him, but she refused to see it, even after he ambushed her and nominated her against Marvin the second time he won HOH. That should have been a wake up call, it wasn't. Drew was smart enough to realize that he should try and arrange a F3 that guaranteed he would be in the F2 no matter who won the final HOH. Karen and Nak never would have taken him. Cowboy was his lapdog who would obviously choose Drew if he won the final HOH. Diane should have tried to keep Nak so that she would have been in that enviable position of being guaranteed a F2 slot no matter who won (Drew and Nak would have both taken her to the end) and yet she still kept with the plan to evict Karen and then Nak over Cowboy. Then, she sealed her fate by bragging to Drew that all her friends were on the jury (Karen, Marvin, Will, Nak).

Her own stupidity caused her loss and she's still under the delusion that she would have won had the made it to F2 even though she betrayed pretty much every single member of the jury.

I'm rewatching some of season 5 right now and Diane really had an intense passion about the game. That girl has a lot of willpower and attitude. But she consistently put Drew ahead of herself and let him walk all over her.

In that very first week, her and Mike created an alliance and she wanted to invite Drew to join (even though they should have known he was with Jase & Scott). When Drew predictably tattled to the other horsemen about Mike & Diane, she was very nearly put up for eviction with Mike. So even with Diane's first interaction with Drew, he screws her over. I guess she was blinded by the pretty.

In BB5, I wasn't that impressed with Diane. She clearly had visions of Rob and Amber dancing in her mind with her relationship with Drew, (she, naturally, being the Rob of the duo) when really that relationship was a bit more Colin and Amaya from RW:Hawaii, and she completely negated her chances at winning by screwing over her allies to help Drew. The other issue I have with Diane: she keeps crowing about how she was the best player of her season. She wasn't, because a) Drew played her, b) Nakomis was a much better strategist, and c) she played the social game so poorly with the backstabbing all the time that I seriously doubt she could have even beaten Cowboy, to say nothing of Drew or Nakomis. Remember, the first five jurors ALL went to the jury hating Diane. She was probably about as hated by that jury as Alison and Danielle were by theirs, but we never got to see because Drew kicked her to the curb before we could find out.

That off my chest, she's in an excellent position right now. She is the center of the non-S6 alliance right now. Jase and Nakomis are both closer to her than to one another, and had they managed to keep Alison, she would have been a third player in that alliance closer to Diane than any of the others. I'm not sure exactly how tight that alliance is... do Jase and Nakomis have a tight alliance, or is this just a big group of players with Diane as the lynchpin? I think that Danielle is the only one to even discuss nominating her, too... everyone over on S6 alliance is focused on Will, Nakomis, or George.

Right now, I think I'd rather see Diane win this than anyone else. Katmandu's post reminded me of Diane winning that button-holding endurance challenge. The girl has grit.

I also remembered the way she stood-up to all the "trailer-trash" remarks, while her worthless bofriend (Drew) failed to defend her. In some ways she's more of the lonely outcast than Nik and it's sadder with Diane because she isn't trying to be different.

I think Cry-ane is perfect for her. That's all she's done so far. That and talk trash about all of the women in the house that she is jealous of.

I just don't buy it. I think she's exaggerating. First of all, she's a big fat liar. Secondly, she's uber dramatic.
I think she said that because she likes to tell dramatic stories and because it might make people feel sorry for her.

I think, if she really needed a place to stay, she could stay with a friend or certainly with her sister.

Also would like to add that, if she chose to get mixed up with Tony Ferrari, as a coworker or roommate, then she deserves whatever happened as a result. Come on, Tony is a whackjob nutcase!! Anybody with half a brain would steer well clear of her.

Also would like to add that I regret that I can no longer call Diane, Cruella DeVil. Sadly, her hair is unicolored this year...

Plus, Little Miss Homeless 2006 was sporting some preeetty nice Chanel sunglasses tonight at the nomination ceremony. You could see the "CC" logo on them when she was at the nom table on TV very clearly!.

The HG should vote to evict Diane, point blank period. Although it is tempting to evict Nakomis, the much smarter player, it is imperative that they evict Diane.

Diane is needy, if she remains in the house she will definetly and permanently align with Chilltown; they are more her equals. She's already snuggled with Booger. She does not the self esteem to "compete" with Erika, Janelle or even Danielle (she's older, the mother of two, but she still has a nice body and is attractive when she fixes herself up). SHE feels like she's not in their league. She has no problem competing with Nikomas, cause, well, it's Nikomas. She was nominated by a S6 so they are now her natural enemies, there is NO chance of her helping them in the future.

You can keep Nik because she's a strong and intelligent player or you can evict her for the same reasons. I vote to keep her. Nikomas does not fit in with Chilltown and she knows it. She is expendable to them. She's not impressed with their childish antics, in fact has shown annoyance at some of them. She is not going to demean herself or just tolerate them and everyone knows it. She does not suffer fools lightly. Remember, Nikomas INVENTED the six-finger plan to get rid of Jase because she and the majority of the house found him obnoxious. She will not be able to endure their "Animal House" behavior.

Another week or two, she'll be tossing the hoodlums out on the ears, and that includes Howie, who I used to love. sob sob

It really can go either way, and in my mind the two nominees are pretty equal - Nakomis is smart, but Diane got a lot further in the game last time.

Diane or Nakomis? Nakomis or Diane? If I was in the house I'd flip a coin and vote. Both of them are too smart to seriously hook up with Janelle/Kaysar/James/Howie - so in that sense both are a threat to that alliance and an asset to all the others.

Okay, so maybe not a LOT - but in my mind Diane was soooooo close to final two, and Nakomis wasn't getting near final two unless she won the last HOH herself - no one else was going to take her. So I guess in my mind, that's a big difference...

Diane wasn't in the final three because she was smart - it was because she was rubbing up against the pretty boy. I don't give her any credit for smarts - she's shown her ignorance over and over. I guess it's obvious I don't like her: I can't stand her attitude - she's a little black cloud of doom, and she almost always has a snarl on her face. And even though I have a pretty low opinion of her, I still think CBS was out of line with the "Trailer Trash" caption last night.

Her attitude completely blows, and what's sad is that it's not a strategy or a persona she's adopting for the show. Diane sucks at life for some reason, and wants us all to know it.

It was telling and sad that she seems to hate her life but thinks the only way to make it better is not to , er, go to college or learn a job skill but ... Win money on a game show!
I'd be willing to bet that if she did win she would spend it all on beach vacations and pink beaded purses before the year was out.

Agreed here too. With a person like Diane, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that sent her over the ultimate edge.

I go from feeling sorry for her to wanting to help her to wanting to kick her in the ass and yell, "Just DO something about it then!"

If Danielle does help find her housing after this is all said and done I certainly hope Di doesn't stiff her.

Has her modeling career gone caput? I've seen many a picture of her and her sister. Surely FMH, and those kind of magazines pay decently. Don't they?

I also think Diane made some good money as a stand in on CSI or NCIS or one of those acronym shows. But she blew it all on the weed.

She wears a hat on the feeds that says, "trailer trash" on it. I think she will think it is because of that hat and so will her friends that know she wears it. She said she thinks it is funny to wear the hat so she should be amused by the caption too.

Stand-ins make very very little. If she's been supporting herself as a model, background artist, and stand-in, then yeah, it's no surprise she's broke. That's a tough life!

It must be incredibly frustrating to go from coming in third place on a big network show, to background work. I feel for her!

I really think Diane might be playing with her twin. Maybe I am crazy, but her top lip has always looked a little weird to me, and this season, sometimes it looks totally different.

But if I remember correctly, Diane's twin doesn't really look too much like her.

I agree she's flying very low. Loved seeing her yawn during Jase's hissy-fit. Diane was like, "I'm from rural Kentucky; a yellin' man don't scare me." Sometines it's good to be the trailer trash!.

Diane is such a non-player. I rarely see anything of her in recaps, on the actual feeds, and on the shows excluding, of course, her brief sobbing while put up with Nakomis.

Though the hatred of KG seems to have cooled a bit amongst our hamsters, I would've thought as far as "GAME PLAYERS" go Diane's name should have been mentioned a lot more! That and she's as innertube floater as we get.

I suppose one could argue she's with CT but I'd consider her more of a floater than an ally. Actually...If it came down to naming her as a player, ally, or other, I'd have to just say she's a generic floatee device.
