What a surprise. Pinhead and Ruscle were shirtless for the POV. No togas for them.
Pinhead posing after each of his points was so typical. Made me throw up in my mouth a little.
I HATE HIM!

Will they find out tonight? I think the winner will find out tomorrow, because they have to call everyone in, so that's why I don't think they will find out Thursday. I hope we can tell based on the feeds. It looks like the "bad" team is realizing it is Jeff or Jordan. I am nervous about Russell talking to Jeff.

This is the biggest nut house ever...EVER! The drama queen factor, and I'm not just talking about the women, in the house is so over the top. Lydia is crying about Jessie not liking her and hurting her physically is so over-the-top. I'll admit that Jessie has less romantic tenderness than a chimp but she's been throwing herself at him since the start of the show. She's acting like Jessie is abusing her and she feels so bad she's ready to start cutting herself. What a load of crap.
I guess this is coming from the fact that Jessie is telling her that he is going to give Rat a sympathy vote.

Kevin has to be the best and kindest friend ever, because Lydia would just suck someone dry (no pun intended).
I actually have compassion for her, because this has nothing to do with Jessie really, but with her own issues, and I honestly hope she can get some help for herself. I have never heard her listen as intently to Kevin as he is listening to her.
She is complaining about stuff that, for the most part, is part of the game that she is taking way too personally. Jessie is no prize, and he is using people, but Lydia has had this epiphany about him at least five times before, and she stumbles right back in. I guess I did that a few times when I was in my twenties, etc., but it is just so hard to witness it. Appalling and painful.

I found this over at
BigBrotherUpdates.com. It's a transcript of Russell and Chima where they discuss staging a fake fight. The key passage is where Chima says that she will throw water in Russell's face.
If they are faking, then, kudos to them for the elaborate lie. However, what did they gain from it, gamewise? If anything, Chima's rantings have resulted in a worse game position for Russell, unless they tell everyone that they were making it all up.

Aug 5 2009, 05:37 AM
Thank you, ff174. I didn't know that throwing water in Russel's face was part of the "fight" plan. I heard her mention something about how she should get Russel worked up, and then she mentioned throwing water at him but nobody bit, then after the Kevin and Ronnie fight, she just kinda out of the blue says she's going to stir crap up with Russel...Oh I know I will throw water at him. It seemed weird and forced.
Not saying the fight wasn't real, because it looked real but maybe that's where she got the idea of throwing water in his face, because they already discussed her doing that in the fake fight.
I was hoping the show tonight would have clarified that with one of them in the DR, but that didn't happen.

I mentioned the fake fight question a few days ago, because I remember reading it somewhere -- but then it went on for so long and was so over the top, I started to doubt it was fake. For instance, what set it all off was Russ and Chima talking alone in HOH, before Chima went and got Michele into the mix -- and you'd think if it was a fake fight, they would have used that alone-time to firm up their plans before bringing Michele into the mix. But they didn't do it that way, in fact they actually seemed mad at each other when they were alone.
So, if it was a fake fight, it was the stupidest strategy ever because it turned the whole house against Russell, including possibly his newest allies (Jordan, Jeff, Michele) and made him a huge target, not to mention that it turned his earlier allies into enemies (esp. Gnat). So a very dumb plan -- except for Chima, who has been seen as the victim by most of the other hammies.

As for the staged fight; kudos to them if it was planned.

Aug 5 2009, 01:42 PM
I would love if it was Jordan and I thought of voting for her just because I think Jeff will win HOH at some point. But a big part of that is keeping it quiet and your emotions in check and I think she could keep quiet but I don't know if she could keep her emotions in check, so I voted for Jeff. Also, I read on twitter that Jessie said that production told him that Ronnie makes good TV and to keep trying to keep him, so that tells me Ronnie did NOT win the wizard, so I think it has to be Jeff.

Maybe my memory is going fuzzy (I turned another year older recently) but this year they have been doing live votes since the first week. That's not the usual production schedule is it? Didn't they used to vote on Wednesday and it went to live votes about the 5th or 6th week?
If my memory is correct, I remember Wednesday nights and Thursdays as being extra boring because campaigning pretty much stopped.

Susie,
I was thinking the same thing about the live votes the other day, but I thought maybe I was just getting senile because of old age and all.
Curious to know, is Big Brother going to march each hamster to the DR and tell them if they got the Harry Potter power or not? Or are they simply going to tell the one who got it, they won? Because if they march each one in there then they will all know to look out for whomever looks happiest. Let's face it, it would be very easy to tell on some of them, if they were told they didn't get it, such as Jessie and possibly Natalie. Ronnie may act like he got it.
GraceUnderPressure
Aug 5 2009, 04:53 PM
I don't think they'll tell them if they didn't get it. Do they do the goodbye messages today? If so, they could call them all in for those and tell the winner (Please let it be Jeff!) before or after the goodbye message.

I think when they were called in this morning, the winner was told, the rest probably got random questions. Just a guess. I don't think it is Ronnie because he is working Jordan right now, I really think it's Jeff. But I guess we won't know until tomorrow. I realize I do not have the brain power of Jessie/Natalie/Ronnie but how on Earth do they think it is possible that Jeff or Jordan will vote for him? How does Michele being the root of all evil cause them to keep Ronnie? I really don't get this, what am I missing?

I really hope Jeff doesn't use the super power to get rid of Michele. Natalie is stirring up quite the crap and blaming everything on Michele. Why do these people not see that in the middle of all this mess is one common denominator and that's NATALIE. When the heck is Chima going to spill that Natalie is not 18?
BBFanJamie
Aug 5 2009, 06:21 PM
I wish Chima would spill that Natalie is 18, not that it's a huge deal..but, it proves she lies. Also, why is Chima not calling Jesse and Natalie out on the lie about Michelle and the green room??
liza
Aug 5 2009, 06:23 PM
I think it is obvious Jeff has the power. I am going to wait and see on Jeff. I caught it on the feeds but the look he was giving Natalie, was I don't believe a word coming out of your mouth. I think he will still use it on Jessie and Natalie, because he could think Michele will be a common target for next week. But I am going to wait and see.

Aug 5 2009, 06:27 PM
While this Michelle situation seems horrible, it may still be salvagable. Chima is having a calm and logical conversation with Michelle and still believes Michelle. Part of this might be because she knows Natalie is lying but she is very observant and is supportive of Michelle for the most part.
Also in the backyard before Gnatural disaster came outside, Jeff said to Jordan about Michelle "I think she's trying to strategize but she doesn't know what she's doing. She tells these little lies that get her in trouble."

Aug 5 2009, 07:44 PM
All of this is really starting to make me ill. I hope during their DR sessions, the liars are coerced into seeing how rotten they are, or at the very least, the paranoid people are set straight in some way. I know it's a game and some people want to be evil and cheat and lie, but what they're doing (Natalie and Jessie especially) seems so cowardly. I hope they get caught.

liza, I think so. He made Michelle and Natalie both stand in front of each other and say to him whether the green room story is true. Michelle said absolutely not, Natalie says yes. I can see Natalie trying to backpeddle away from her blatant lying. Now she claims she is "so confused". She knows she's on the edge of a deep abyss of doo-doo.

I really wish that Chima would come clean about the Michele/Green Room story. Jessie/Nat are bullies, and for that matter so is Russell. I HATE BULLIES! They tag team her and, twist her words to make her look like a liar. I feel sorry for Michele.

Since, I am pretty sure that Jeff is the wizard, this is pretty funny. He gave a look at Natalie when they were in the BY and it was classic. He doesn't believe anything coming out of her mouth. Based on all their actions, the only other one it could be is Michele, but she always acts that way. So if you has wizard powers would you throw HOH next week? I don't think I would.

I can't figure out who I hate more, and it unsettles me. I hate Ronnie whenever he appears on my TV screen, and I avoid him on the feeds. Gnat makes me tear my hair out whenever she shows up on the feeds, but seems less offensive on tv. GAH!!!! It's all Jessie's (girlie spelling) fault.

This house just continues to be a complete nut house. Nutjob Russell calls out Michele again over a stupid ED joke? I'm telling you, Russell has some serious psycho-sexual issues. Michele breaks down and cries on the couch. Lydia telling everyone that she thought about cutting herself. Topped off by Russell v Chima part 2 - the Apology (such as it was) is not Accepted.
This place is non-stop crazy.
My favorite highlight of the night is when Lydia took offense at being called a whore by Chima - when she actually did run up to Jessie after getting nominated and did give Jessie several handjobs.
Chima isn't one of my favorites but I think she is far more in the right than Russell - on this one particular thing at least.

I'm starting to think Russell's sisters are older and used to use him as a dress up doll. Little Russ in pretty dresses as a kid would explain a whole lot of his issues with the women in the house as well as his insane attacks on any perceived insult to his manhood. This guy flips out on anyone and everyone for reasons that exist only in his head. The rest of the hammies are going to get sick of him and boot his ass.

If Jeff has it, I think he should throw HOH for next week because he's already safe. Then he'll be able to play for HOH the week after that.
QUOTE (ZGeist @ Aug 6 2009, 06:25 AM)

When you use the Coup, Mags, you effectively become HOH. You can't play for the next HOH.
Really? I thought you could change the nominations; but, the current HOH and POV winners were safe. I don't remember hearing anything about not being able to compete for HOH the next week. It's possible that Jeff could have the WWW and not have to use it. Lets say Michelle wins HOH and puts up Natalie, Ruscle, Jessie, or Chima; Jeff wouldn't use his power (which of course would result in another BB lame twist). So would he still not be able to compete for HOH? That hardly seems right to me.
I hope BB sorts this out so Jeff can chose an action that best suits him. I'm with
Mags...but only if he can play for HOH the following week.

From the Jeff thread:
QUOTE
Also, I really hope Jeff believes Michele and will continue to work with her. They need eachother to get rid of Jessi, Nat and Chima.
I think that Michele will be a part of Jeff and his clan. After last night's yuk-it-up session with Natalie, Chima, Jessie, Ronnie and Russell in the HOH, it has to apparent where Russel's first loyalties lie.
Then, if things go as planned, Ronnie leaves, and with the cootie taw, hopefully Jessie leaves. This would leave a weakened Natalie, Chima and Russell. Lydia hates them all, and would firmly be in the Jeff camp ... not that this is the greatest thing in the world, but still.
This week has also taken a rather large target off of Jordan/Jeff's back. I think that the only person who would put them on the block would be Chima.

Well we learned one thing tonight: The fight between Chima and Russell was real.
He will definitely go up... but it doesn't matter.
Jeff will put up Gnat and Pinhead and hopefully pinhead will go home.
Here's a thought. If Jeff uses his power and nominees come down, does the HOH still not get to vote and Jeff still does? I guess it really doesn't matter because Chima would be a vote for Natalie to stay anyway.
Michele/Jeff/Jordan will vote to get Jessie out.
Chima can't vote.
Russell will vote Gnatalie out.
If Kevin and Lydia stupidly vote out Gnatalie, it doesn't matter.
If it's a tie, Chima will keep Gnatalie.
Let's just hope they don't win POV.
