Jase, you might be a lesser of the evils.

Jase's MySpace site
AnnieMoon
Gods help me but...I sort of want to see him again. He's completely batshit insane, which could be a lot of fun. And I may be hated for this but if it's a choice between Jase and the other crazy, egotistical blowhard, Howie, I'd pick Jase. *hides*
Ubershauna
I would love to see them together! Jase was alright in his quiet moments. I won't vote for him, but I wouldn't mind seeing him in the house again. I think he would work well with Janelle.
TVJunkie
I can only take so many of these types of characters. Jase or Howie. Well. Guess I'd rather have Jase then.
Doom Song
"That was not from Jesus."

I'm making that my next needlepoint project, for sure.

You know Jase just wants to get back in the house so he can hide from his dealer and delay having to perform any more "favors" for him to pay off his debt.

God help me, that made me laugh so hard I'm actually considering voting for him. I'm holding off to see if it still sounds like a good idea in the light of day.

HA! Me too. He was making me laugh during his segment, and I hate him for it.

I feel bad that Jase has had to resort to a life in the sex trade but I can't vote him in. Won't his sugar daddies miss him?
ashes
I'd love to see him back. When they showed his goat antics I howled.
TVJunkie
I had forgotten about the "join my alliance" thing. That really *was* kinda funny. Maybe without the other Horsemen and Holly he wouldn't be so annoying and might actually be entertaining to watch?
pookele
On the one hand, he's insane and a bully.

On the other hand, they need someone to vote out the first week...

But still, no.
Lausana
Why, God?

Jase had his really funny moments, but he was just too much to handle the rest of the time...I'd rather see Howie. What's this about him turning tricks? Interesante!

"That was not from Jesus."

That erased just a little bit of my Jasshole hate and made me kind of want to see him in the house. I may regret making that statement later, however.
KatJam
Oh, and also? I loved that he used the term 'mandana.'

Was that a tiny glimmer of self-awareness Jase displayed in his segment? Is that even possible?
Shaboogra Falls
I gotta vote for him just to see the meltdown. Perhaps he'll show his asshole again (both literally and figuratively). BTW, is he still stripping in gay clubs to futher his career or was that just a way to help pay for his crystal meth habit?

Get back here Annie. You and I are in agreeance. Jass gets my vote. Hey, we have to vote in someone we don't like or else this is gonna be a total love fest, for a couple weeks at least. Beau-ring! And yeah, he's batshiit insane, but next to Dr. Will, his diary rooms alone are worth the price we have to pay.
tenacious_peaches
Jase was hilarious in his video. I'd take him over Howie any day, if only for the goat noises. And that maniacal hair...what kind of crazy ass product does he put in there? Never mind, I'm afraid to find out.
gforce
In the sense that he would likely be a better game player than Howie, I would rather see him in - although Janey and Howie were quite an entertaining pair. Jase's "Join my alliance" sign was one of the most pitiful - and funniest - moments in BB, I think.
kayleigh
The idea of Jase is growing on me. I have a feeling I'm going to be surprisingly disappointed if he's not in that house, so I think I'll vote for him just in case. I like the idea of a house full of enormous egos battling for attention, maybe. Or perhaps I have a secret desire to punish myself for being addicted to watching assholes and dumbasses be famewhores (excluding Boogie, of course, nobody deserves that).

'Tis Me, KR
Jase, that wacky kid. He is so damn bizarre - you can't help but like him.
I will give him one vote, on one condition! No mandanas. Oh, and no fruit cocktail bathing rituals. That was skeery.
Doogie2K
I'll take him over Howie any day. He seems to have gained a hint of self-awareness, and perhaps without the rest of the Horse's Asses ("The Four Idiot Horsemen" -- ha!) or Hollipop, he'll be tolerable. Or at least more fun to hate.
Highwaygirl
I'm warming to the idea of recapping Jase this summer.

Someone shoot me.
AnnieMoon
The more I think about it, the more I really want to see Jase back in the house. At first, the Horseman I wanted to see again was Scott, partly because he was so pitiful after his eviction when he saw Jase's horrible goodbye video, and also because he writes hilariously emo journal entries on his MySpace. But I think a second round in the house may send Scott over the edge in a scary way, whereas a second round for Jase will send him over the edge in a funny way.
Just Kimmie
I hate to admit it as well...but that 'Jesus' line was pretty hilarious, as was the rehash of his 'looking for a new alliance' campaign, complete with cardboard neck sign!
luvlee
Don't feel bad guys. Embrace it. I was as suprised as you are that I actually warmed to the idea of Jase in the house. He'd annoy the hamsters and crack us up in the process. I always did find him kind of funny but he was such a jerk in the house I refused to admit it. And you are right AnnieMoon, his goodbye video to Scott was uncalled for. All over "Haw-lie" (to quote Cowboy, ew I just quoted Cowboy!).
diarrheaonthetrampoline
As much as I didn't like Jase, he did make me laugh, so I've been throwing some votes his way.

Where's his myspace page? The emo blog stuff sounds equally funny.

And make sure you have an extra bullet for me, because I'd like to see him in the house too!
siandam
It's scary, but after thinking about who we have to choose from, the idea of Jase being in the house is becoming more appealing.

I think I'm getting a brain tumor.
The Schwa Sound
I cannot tell you all how relieved I am that I was not the only one that was finding Jase funny. My new theory is that when he's removed from Scott aka Peen and Holly, perhaps he isn't quite as awful as I remember.

And let's be frank. I really enjoy typing "Jass."
TynRose
I loved Jase, he has to be there!!!
brookebot
did anybody see jase's ep of 'blind date'? it took me awhile to figure out who he was, but...

have a heart folks, help this poor ass fulfill his dream of staying on reality tv.
Shannon
Of all the people I would hate to see on this season, Jase would be the top NO WAY on my list. He makes me puke, everything thing about him makes me sick, he's a waste of sperm. Well, okay, I'd hate seeing Maggie even more, but she's not in the running, thank gawd.
Doogie2K
The more I think about it, the more I'd like to have him in there. You just know Peen and Hollipop brought out the worst in him. I'm perfectly prepared to assume that he's an ass, regardless, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt insofar as to say that he'd at least be a more entertaining than annoying/repulsive ass this time.
gillian
When they first announced Jase I threw up in my mouth a little. But lately he has risen much farther from the bottom of my pile. I think I could stand a little Jase. He'd be different without the dumbass horsemen, and he might actually add a little humor. I mean c'mon, he's already given us the first memorable quote of the summer ("that was not from Jesus").
Slaebo
Well, shoot me too, then.

I'd love to see Jasshole again.

Will Jasshole and Booger be instant nemeses, or will they be this year's Wonder Twins?

The mind reels with the possibilities.

I'm kind of all a-flutter imagining Jase telling Booger what he thinks of him. I hate to admit it, but I've warmed to Jase over the years. I'm reading him as more self-deprecating than self-absorbed, and Doog help me if I'm wrong, but I'm gonna chalk up his Jasshole-ishness to a great sense of self-awareness and humor than anything else.

No, I haven't done LSD in a while... why do y'all ask?

I'm throwing a vote towards Jase.

Now that's DOOG TV!

Ah hell, please don't give me a reason to go vote for Boogie.

I feel dirty even considering it now, but it would be fun.

Time for a beer.

Ok. When did Jase become a "Safety Director"??? And what does that mean?

"Mall Security?"
Magpie
Or maybe "school crossing guard"?
elizabethann
He prolly sells condoms at a convenience store. Or hands out freebies at gay bars.
Sardonic
See, I don't think Jase is quite as awful as he's remembered. When you compare him to the cast of season four, or two, or six... he doesn't seem that bad. I daresay if he had been cast on BB6 instead of BB5, he probably would have been one of the more likeable cast members. The cast of BB5 was, as a whole, not that bad. The Nadria was obnoxious to self-righteousness but the two twins combined were only at a tenth of the level of Maggie, Diane was a backstabber but really was pretty entertaining, Cowboy was a harmless idiot, and Jase and Peen are really quite charming when compared to the atrocities of the Fiendsheep from last season. Plus, when you put Jase up against Mike Booger for the toolish famewhore slot, Jase wins handily because he at least has some level of self-awareness that, yes, he is capable of looking like a jackass.

Or maybe memories of Alison, Booger, and Ivette are clouding my judgment a bit.

I agree with this. Although he certainly was an attention grabbing tool, he was sometimes amusing and even self deprecating in a way Boogie for example never could be. A lot of the problem was his friendship with Scott, which turned him mostly into a despicable hateful tool. Once Scott was gone, and especially after the twin reveal when he knew he was toast, he was a lot easier to take and often quite amusing, while still being a jackass.

It's kind of like the deal with Will. Will was far less amusing and likeable when Boogie and Shannon were still around, feeding off of their negative energies, much like Jase when Scott was there. If Jase gets in and hangs around the right people, he won't be that hard to take.

Are you psychic?? Wow! Anyway, I like this new more mature Jase. If he doesn't start acting like a jerk, he may be a surprise fave of the season.
Sardonic
I was very surprised he was one of America's top four picks. I figured it would be Will or Marcellas or Will or Bunky or Will or Cowboy or Will or Chicken George, but not Jase.

I was equally surprised that, so far, he has been a pleasant surprise to have in the house. I don't want to generalize from one episode, but he's coming across as someone I could potentially want to cheer for. (Damn you, Friendship, for irreversably lowering my standards!) And if he, Diane, and Nakomis have an alliance going, they're going to be a FIERCE group of competitors, because Jase is an excellent athlete, Diane does not give up with endurance events, and Nakomis owns the mental/memory/trivia competitions.
Sureshot26
While I'm not quite ready to let go of the Jase hate, I have to prop him for signing on to a Danielle/Allison nomination (and I'm dying to know whose idea that was originally, btw). It's setting the tone for a very cutthroat season, and Fisty knows I love that. What's even better for him is that even after making a quite bold move, he's not really a target - both Allison and Danielle were inclined to go after Janey to begin with and their noms will only strengthen that drive. He just might be sitting pretty for a while.
issycat
Jase seems a lot more humble this time around, like he's been taken down a notch. He's certainly not as obnoxious as he was two years ago. Also that pic of him with his little "step daughter" was very sweet.
Could it be that I am starting to like Jase?
Not yet but...
he could go far if he keeps this up.

Very surprised that it was Jase and not Will or any of those other guys. But I slowly warmed to the idea of Jase, found myself hoping he'd get in, and then found myself voting for him.

I do think Will should have been in that top four, but perhaps a lot of people who voted figured (as I did) that Will was a shoo-in and voted for Jase instead. And given the one episode so far, good decision. He might end up somebody I root for to the end. And if you had told me, what, 2 years ago I'd be saying that, I would not have been happy with you. I might have even been mad enough to say, oh, "yeah, right", or something like that.

So far, though, loving him. Especially if he doesn't even have a girlfriend and this whole potential stepdaughter thing is just a parody of Robert. Then he needs to win.
