Hello, my clique,

Looking around, you may notice something has changed -- but maybe not as much as you might first think.

As I vegged out this winter, snacking on cornnuts and farting away my time with Facebook quizzes, I began to think a makeover might be nice. But it's just a makeover -- all of Hamster Time's features remain in place. Not much has changed except some colors and images. So, you know, don't freak that you're not going to be able to find your personal messenger when you go to complain that you don't like change.

This may also be a good time to tell you about some of the ways I've expanded Hamster Time in recent months. As many of you know, Hamster Time now has a Facebook page where members of the social network can become fans of HT, continue the friendships they've formed here and make new buddies. Today I'm also unveiling my Twitter page, @FistyHT, where people can follow my every move. I will also be updating Facebook fans and Twitter followers about things that are happening in the Big Brother house -- once the season gets underway, of course.

For those of you that haven't been hanging around the Facebook page, you may also be interested to know that I've opened Fisty's Factory, a Cafe Press store where you can buy cool stuff with my fantastically fantastic face plastered on it. Everyone needs a reminder why we suffer through BB, and what better way to remind yourself than with a Recapper's Oath mousepad? HT isn't making any money from this store; I'm just selling the items at the base price set by Cafe Press. I just wanted you to have the chance to buy a slightly naughty thong or Hammie Down! magnet. I'll try and keep items in the store rotating as the year goes by, so check back from time to time.

Nice...looking spiffy. I see the lil' buttons in the upper corner for feeds and such. I'm not comfortable with twitter, yet, but for Fisty I'll give it more of a try than I have so far.

I'm still working on MySpace, I signed up for Facebook but I don't get it, seems it costs money and I'm way too cheap/broke to spend dollars talking to others, and now Twitter or Tweeter ??? Oy Vey!!

Wait, facebook doesn't cost anything.

I should have made myself a bit clearer, joining FB is free, but most the things people send me seem to cost a buck here and a buck there to indulge in. Sorry.

Fisty, I love a lot of the new look, particularly the tan dividers between the posts and the two-toned arrows at the forums.

The banner is a little busy and I wonder where there is room for Fisty the Snowman, but I know you work tirelessly to make it all happen and I'm sure you have plenty of plans for the habitat.

Tweets from Fisty during the BB season will be loads of fun!

Shannon, you must have the wrong folks on your FB list sending you things, then because I haven't sent anyone anything that costs anything, and no one on my list has ever sent me anything that cost so much as a penny, and I've got a whole passel of HTers on my list. In fact, I think you are on my list already. And twitter is most certainly free.

On topic, the more I see the new design, the more I like it. Good job! Should be really interesting when the season starts and the banner gets those special touches added.
