I'm really glad to see her on the list. She's the Rob Mariano of Big Brother, I think, and I really think she should go on. I have to think she's going to be one of the first out, though, because she's way too dangerous.

I hated her only second to Maggie, but then I didn't really understand the fun of hating people in the game when Danielle was in the game. So I may have to give her a chance if she gets in. I wanted Lisa to win back then because I thought Lisa was honest, nice, real person, now I don't care who they really are LOL I care how they play the game.

Hot as in hot, hot, hot! She looked far better than she ever did when she was on the show. Although, perhaps we'll see how she looks after 80 days in the HellHouse.

Well if they're going to make it a 6-6 split that means I have to say it's a close call between Danielle and Diane as the 6th female I'd want in the game. They both played well, both are devious, and I think both have learned enough to help them in the game. Diane has more of a history with getting loaded and freaking out on people and Danielle is rather laid back. Essentially I'd reward Danielle with my vote because she managed to keep a secret alliance secret to the final 3 and that took some game. I still didn't like her in the end, but I respected her. So she gets my vote.

Danielle is the only person (besides maybe Jase) who I can say I like in retrospect, if that makes any sense. I couldn't stand her DRs, since a lot of the time she was insulting people I liked (Amy) or trying too hard to be funny. I would actuallly cringe every time she started her little countdown spiel. But I remember watching the finale, and wanting Lisa to win because I disliked Danielle so much, and then right about the time Josh threw his little hissyfit about voting with the group I realized that Lisa was going to win and Danielle really played a great game and maybe deserved to win.
My point? I guess is that I wouldn't mind Danielle winning, but do I have to watch her for 3 months? Can't they just give her the money and spare us? Or can't we at least just watch her play without her DRs?

Jul 6 2006, 08:43 AM
OK, she's smart. Is she smart enough to twist the alliances? ONLY if she has a secret alliance of her own, and one she can completely count on. I think that's what gave her the confidence last time. That and not knowing the consequences of her DR tapes. Now that she knows what can happen, she could lose her confidence. Really, what's her motivation? She's not looking for fame like many of the others. So if she only wants the money, it might not be enough. $500,000 for twelve weeks of hell? Unless you want something else in addition, how could it be worth it?

I think she just loves to play the game. I love her, always have. Every "you know what I'm sayin?" Every lie. Every time she did the devil horns. Pure love from me.
I hope she doesn't overplay her hand too early, but even if she does it'll be fun to watch.

Danielle has a personality that will allow her to lie low for a couple of weeks and forge those secret alliances that will change the game. However, Marcellas could be a problem for her if he is still mad about how she betrayed him.
I can see the houseguests being leery of Danielle, but not targeting her right away. I hope she's in the house. I'd like to see how she does.

Damn, Dani! I LOVED her on BB3 and voted for her to get back in the house. But somehow during that hour of TV she managed to p*ss away almost all the goodwill I had for her. She's played the game before and should know better than to start right away with the hard-core gaming because it's just too early and puts a huge target on your back.
That said, I hope she survives this week and remembers how to play the game.

Overplayed her hand, even though she really had some interesting ideas. I figured she was the second-biggest target after Will. If she DIDN'T come out of the gate with the hardcore game, people would be wondering what she was up to, and would be even more leery of her, I imagine.
That being said, if she dodges the bullet, and Alison goes home this week, I will be fine with that. If she can shift the target to Boogie, even better.

I would not put something like that past Danielle, I really wouldn't. I remember her and Jason talking about how they should stage fights. Danielle is frustrating to me, because for as brilliant as a strategist as she is, she is completely tonedeaf when it comes to the social game and not crowing about how clever she is.
I think Marcellas's ego would get in the way and he would most likely not even CONSIDER such a thing, though.

The only person I really wanted to see back in that house was Danielle. And now she goes stirring the pot up right off the bat. She is very cunning and quick as she was the first to realize that someone could refuse to agree if they felt they had the votes. Unfortunately I think she's made herself a huge threat now. She could have easily survived the first few weeks before anyone thought of nominating her.
Work it Danielle!

She should have left it at the initial conversation with Ali/George, no mention of telling Plastic Fantastic or anyone else, and let house gossip do the dirty work. Instead, she became far too blatant a target, and sadly, I have to say she goes.
Why not Aliscum/slut? Because, well, I want to see her do what she promised last night in the DR. :) That earned an amazing amount of goodwill from me.

Yesterday while watching Dani and Marci talking, Dani mentioned how weird it was being nominated. She has never been nominated before and she doesn't know what to do or how to campaign.
I forgot that she was never nominated during her season. How disappointing for her to be first nominated on "All Stars". I think she is going to have a hard time getting very far this year.

I know they literally have nothing better to do, but why does Danielle feel the need to be the Queen of Details when she's telling stories? Does she really think people are interested?
For example, just now she was talking about the food they had in BB3, and she actually said "One night we had celery, onions, some carrots, and a can of something, and we were so hungry!"
Also, on that note, why does she constantly talk about food? Since last night, i've heard the ingredients of her turkey chili, gravy, salisbury steak, tea, coffee, and what goes into the tortillas at her local Mexican restaurant. NOBODY CARES!!!
She repeats the same stories and advice over and over.
She claims she never has gotten the live feeds but she knows everything about what everyone did in their house, including things that weren't shown on TV
FInally, I am so tired of her reliving her season. They all do it, but she's by far the worst! YOU LOST!
Can you tell I'm over Danielle?

In Danielle's defense, I've never gotten the live feeds either - but I've read here and before here at TWoP since season two. I have a feeling ALL of them have read recaps somewhere - Will even gave a shout out to Joker's.

That's why I'm torn about Dani.
Strategically? She's a monster. She works everyone, and not in a slutty, stupid way like Alison, or a condescending, "I'm the conversation master, here, bitch" way like James, or the "You don't get it" way like Kaysar. She's just really really good, AND she's honest and upfront, which is like, a double threat. I love watching her talk game.
Personally? She needs to shut the fuck up.

Dani is telling Booger that Kaysar and Howie want Jase to go up. She's advocating for a Marci nomination, and trying to maneuver it by having Booger go to Kaysar and tell him that Marci said he'd put up Kaysar. The idea is that Booger would guarnatee if he or Will win HOH, he wouldn't put up Kaysar (who can't play for Veto) or James (who can't play for HOH--though that would be a moot point of CT won HOH, idjits). Dani made certain Booger understood to guarantee safety ONLY for James and Kaysar (gee, I wonder why?).
I'm actually liking Dani but I think this is foolhardy and premature. SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!

It's been awhile and I've tried to block it out but ...
Toward the end, rather than think about all the bad things she did to people she suposedly "liked" she went batshitcrazy for the last few days talking to basically no one and everyone about movies and TV. Every paragraph began with "You remember when". Man. She had seen a LOT of movies and TV shows. She didn't leap off the deep end as badly as Nicole banging on the walls but damned close. I stopped watching TV and going to movies for six months after that show ended because she burned me out.
I think she is smart & ambitious and her conscience kicked in when she realised it was all for nothing. She had done things I don't believe she would ever do in her normal life and it was all out there on the Internet in front of her family and she basically freaked in her own TV\Movie Recap Manic way. When she's nervous or lying, she reverts to the TV\Movie Recap tic.
You know ... I have a job (two if you count writing), a family, a pretty fun life. Why I even get this sucked into it is a mystery. Recapping is great writing practice. Evil personalities abound for characterizations. But man I swore this season I would keep it to a few hours a week and a safe distance from these freaks. I am weak.

Interesting. Thank you for the cue to her nervous/lying behavior. She's said she didn't realize the DR entries would be seen. Like I've said, I'm quite ambivalent about her, but believe she could go far if she learns to SHUT UP. She's a lot like James in that way; making too may little side friendships and spilling too much. At least she was smart enough to not confide her supposed "gotten over" Marci target to anyone close to Janey... but Boogie could throw a rench into that.
And I love your recaps. Last season a friend of mine bought the live feeds and try as I might, I could not get him to try recapping here or anywhere. I had the opportunity to watch the feeds at his place (a Saturday night reason for cookout we do not have anymore, I might add) and the feeds themselves were much less engaging to me without the commentary of our recappers (I believe he has come to the same conclusion and reads the recaps here this season). I toyed with the idea of getting the feeds and recapping but quite frankly I'm just not fast enough, quick-witted enough, and not available enough... and so far this season, I'm pretty sure the recaps of the feeds have been made more entertaining by the likes of you and so many others. Perhaps I should copy & paste this paragraph into the recappers appreciation thread.
