Ok, well, no one has said anything yet about poor Marcy, so let me be the first.
I am totally voting for him, and thus breaking the rules (because I already have 3 guys picked out, but too bad).
Who would be better than Marcy? He's done Housecalls forever, dished the dirt, got all up in everybody's bidness, and besides, the house needs a gay guy.

I'm just surprised he'd be on the list. I like his show and I can't imagine anyone else in his host position. On the other hand, he made the first major blunder of this game and I'd like to see him get a second chance. The only decision that was worse was Kaysar letting go of that button.

I'm still hoping for Bunky too, despite the crying. He said he wouldn't, though!
I agree that Marcy would add a weird element to the show, so I'm all for him for entertainment purposes, even though I don't really care for him that much. Besides, hopefully he'll lose it and start talking and ranting to himself again, because that was some funny shit.
And it would be great if he got voted off, but Boo stayed, because he gave Boo the veto.

Although I'm quite weary of Marc's nelly-ness and his pseudo celebrity-ness.. are those words?... I think it would be quite cool to see him in the house (especially with BB2 nelly queen, Bunky) getting all ghetto faboolusss on everyones asses and stirring up the straight folks. Just wish Amy were in there with him... they had a good dynamic.

I love Marc(y)ellus on Housecalls, but dont think I could take his whining and Boo talk again. I do think that late night with Janeydoll and Marcy would be more fun with Marcy than Amy was.....
but if MFMarvin could replace as host for a season....HC would definitely make my must watch.

I LOVE Marcellus, like an irrational amount. I know he made some dumb moves and understand all of the negatives about him but I love him anyway. I want to see him in all his divalicious glory, following all the pretty boys around and fighting them for mirror time, snarking with Janey, and he could do impromptu Housecalls from the DR. No real calls or Gretchen, just him pretending. Yeah, good times.

I did think Marcellus did a good job with Housecalls, he always made me a little uncomfortable in the house, some of his ranting about the other houseguests almost went beyond mean-spirited. However, when he was funny, he was very funny. Amy seemed to be the one that animated him though, and I don't know how interesting he would be without her.

No wonder he doesn't like being a personal shopper. He only shelled out 200$ for a maniucre, pedicure and salt scrub. He got off cheap unless he's Star Jones giving promotional favors.

I'm really beginning to dislike Marcellas. His hatred for Danielle is doing my head in.
Marcellas: "She's a race traitor. I'll never get over that. She betrayed me and she betrayed her race for a white Christian virgin."
Marcellas: "It's like, she's no better than the blacks who helped the slave traders take us away from their continent and bring us over here."
That's like the most vile and nasty thing that's ever been said on Big Brother.
Marcellas, you are dead to me.

I can't believe I used to like Marcellas. I'd be okay with him being a self-involved ass if he didn't suck so much at the strategy side of things. He changes his mind every 2 minutes and he's so impressed with his own brain that he can't keep his mouth shut about anything. He thinks he's "in" with every member of the house except Danielle. And doesn't he even notice that when he drones on and on about Danielle the race traitor, everybody else is just humouring him with silence and anemic nods?
I hate that Janelle is saddled with his annoying ass. He must be SO exhausting in person.

I sometimes feel the need to start off a post with a disclaimer.
I'm not a big fan of Marci's. I kinda liked him with Amy in S3, but I think I only liked him as a part of that duo as opposed to him as a solo act. And whatever it was that I liked about him in S3, I cannot see in BBAS. I think he's a mope and boring and snotty and boring and boring. However....
I think he's playing a really good game here. He's closer to Janelle than anyone that isn't a S6er and she's influential enough with the S6ers to just about guarantee that none of the four will put him up unless they see him pulling her out of the S6 alliance (which just isn't happening yet). He's also making it clear to Janelle that he isn't wanting to be a part of the S6 alliance: He only wants to be alligned with her. This strategy - as opposed to Jase's strategy of trying to be the fifth member of the S6 alliance - is great because it fuels Janelle's ego as being more "worthy" of his loyalty and also makes Janelle think she's got more of a chance to survive if up against another S6er because she doesn't have to compete for his vote.
I was also impressed when he consoled Diane earlier today in the red room. He made it seem like he was going to try and rally votes for her and gave her some pointers on how to act in the next few days. I'm pretty sure Janelle has told him that Nak is the one that is going to go, so him passing on something that is pretty much a shoo-in to happen anyway as something of his own doing is REALLY smart on his behalf as Diane is unlikely to challege Marci's statement to Janelle because Diane strongly dislikes her.
At this point I see him only being put up by Mike or Will. Mike and Will may choose not to put up a S6er for the same reason Kaysar probably didn't put up Mike or Will: Having another "dominant" alliance in the house is a possible buffer for being nominated if someone outside the two alliances are nominated. If Mike and Will want to keep S6 there as a buffer, they could easily go after Marci - someone closely alligned with a S6er and someone who would love to see Mike and/or Will out of the house.
But I am also quite embarassed that I wrote this much about Marci.
But before I go, I also wanted to add that his reputation as a "player" helps him as well. He is known as being someone who made it relatively far, but someone who was voted out by his own stupidity NOT by being a threat persay.
I'm done. I promise. I will repent now. :)

I agree that he is playing well. Two things he needs to watch out for in the endgame:
1. Don't lose the game for want of revenge on Danielle. I think revenge on Danielle is more important to him than the money or the win.
2. Don't let his ego get in the way. Not everyone wants to let him win. He needs to deal with that and not be all shocked and horrified.
That being said, I expect him to make it as far or farther this season than he did the first time through.

I don't know if he's worn the robe every day, but he does wear it daily when he is on the slop diet, as some kind of weird protest. I guess it is part of his wilting magnolia act, to help let BB know he's about to get the vapors over the poor way he's being treated.

So on one feed we've got Dr. Will noticing that Marcellus is the only non-BB6er that hasn't been nominated, and rightly commenting that it's because Janelle is protecting him.
On another feed, we've got Janelle and Howie both knowing that James will nominate Marcellus if he gets HoH, and Janelle insisting that she'll win the veto and take him off if that happens.
On another feed, we've got Marcellus promising James he'd give him his vote above any other S6'er.

Actually, he went to the DR first, and found out there won't be a food comp this week-- before that, he wasn't going to give it to George, per the other houseguests. Then he made a big drama over it-- "I WANT you to have it"--

Just my opinion but I think that since Marcellas was host of housecalls he probably had an automatic invitation to appear on the show and be a producer's pick if he didn't get in America's choice. It seems to me that he, Will and Boogie probably all had that agreement with the producers. But he is unnecessarily vicious with his comments. It's pretty funny on Housecalls when goes off on one of his rants but not in the game. Boogie is definitely coming for him if he gets HoH and I think James would put him up if they both last a couple more weeks because he's expendable (probably against George but who knows.) Marc has the savvy to go far but he's too drama-driven to go far now. I can't stand the way he's playing.

I was a huge fan of BB3 and was originally delighted when Marci made it back into the house. Color me off that love train, but good. Although Amy came off a little bitter on the show last night, I found it revealing that he has totally dropped their friendship, when I know she has been able to remian good friends with Dani and Jason despite all Dani's DR bashing of her to the extent where she wouldn't even give Dani her vote. Now I see Marci doing the same thing to Janey. Trust meI'm as frustrated wiuth Janey as the rest of them at this point, but you can't be bubble bath buddies with the girl and then go around trashing her to the rest of the house. James I can understand because he never claimed to be Janey's BFF and he's looking at it strictly from game.
Marcellas hasn't played the game for one minute that I can see-he's just bitter that Janey's focus came off him for the week and on to Will.
The Slop Pass Incident which was particularly revealing to us "feeders" will be shown on TV as Marci's great moment of benevolence which he will milk for all it's worth.
I'm sure he was the first to raise a glass in George's toast to Marcellas.

I don't think he's changed. In S3, he became bestest friends with blonde Amy. When he decided Amy had done something to betray their friendship or his game, he berated and screamed at her and punished her again and again. It was really pathetic. He seems to be doing the exact thing to Janelle this year. Jani was his best friend, until she made a decision he didn't approve of. Now she is a bad person and not worthy of his friendship. The only difference this year is that he is not screaming in her face, just behind her back. Amy was a wee insecure and didn't take it well when Marci criticized her. Jani is too confident to take that shit from Marcellus and he knows better than to try it with her. But I think his hubris will get the better of him and he will unleash his disapproval to Janelle. Hopefully she will tell him where to stick it.

It ain't nothin' but altruistic DOOG TV.
Did anyone else notice Marci's comment last night when Geroge pulled him aside in the LR? Marci said "Look, just take it. I already told them, they got their shot, so take it." That's when George gave in. I don't think Marcellas gave him the pass out of niceness, or because there wasn't a food comp this week, or because he wanted to look good to the hammies or anyone else. I think he did it becuase the producers made him. Or at least they convinced him they needed that kind of shot. DOOG TV strikes again, in a different form. Altrusitc DOOG TV.
