I've lurked here since I started watching in season 3 but this is my first post, so sorry if I screw it up. Anyway, I skipped season 2 cause one was so boring...I can't believe I missed it. Tonight was the first night I saw "Boogie" and I don't get what was so bad about him. I'd rather see him than Cowboy, Jase, or that hairy guy Bunky....can anyone tell me how he sucked?
kayleigh
Jun 22 2006, 12:30 AM
He just sucked.
Sorry, that's not very helpful, is it? Let's see if I can actually put this into words.
He's a lame-ass white boy who thinks he can rap (parody? serious? doesn't matter, sucked either way) who came up with a major time-suckage idea of getting a boy band together that wasn't funny, who "fell in love" with this complete redneck, Nyquil-swilling idiot named Krista (hey, at least she's not gonna be back) and then publicly made a fool outta himself by proposing to her, via a lame rap song if I remember correctly, during the finale, even though it wasn't about him, while wearing some horrible leather basketball-uniform-inspired outfit.
But I'm ambivalent about him.

Same here. I thought, aww, he seems nice. But I didn't see his season, and if people whose judgment I trust 'round here hate him, then I will too, dammit.

I specifically did not watch Season 2 because of this clown. Seriously, I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode and decided not to watch because this guy is such a tool.
Please don't let this idiot in.
I can't believe I would ever say this but I would rather have Cowboy.

The reasons Booger sucks are numerous, but the MAIN reason Booger sucks was shown last night - his little tirade about the "extras" taking over the show from the "stars."
In case you're wondering, he believed himself and his alliance to be the latter.
And that moment, really, just encapsulated what a total assclown this guy was. He embodies everything you'd ever hate to have in a hamster.
I WILL BAN YOU IF YOU VOTE FOR HIM. DON'T THINK I WON'T FIND OUT, 'CAUSE I WILL.

Ok I get it now. When I saw that clip, I didn't think he was taking himself seriously. I thought he was like Howie, saying this outrageous stuff, but not completely egotistical enough to believe it all. If he really believes it then he's a delusional moron. And if he wore a leather basketball uniform (wtf) then's he's a fashion moron too. I have now found the hate.

Mike Booger thought he was so hip and his superiority was kinda mean-spirited and a bit preppy.
He also talked incessantly about his bar, Belly, and had Shannon wearing a Belly shirt. It was all loathsome without being the least bit entertaining.
It was only after Booger and Shannon were out of the house that Will became tolerable (and then 'lovable').

Just say NO, people. The thing is, even objectively he really doesn't bring anything interesting to the game. He was never particularly popular with the audience (to my memory), I can't imagine the women find him handsome (or handy, for that matter), and his game play was nothing special. So, bleh - and on so many levels.

He's too old to be prancing around in baby blue togs. His feet looked like Charlie Brown's. I do not want to see a pathetic washed out loser on my TV screen. I see enough washed out losers at work to want to come home and see more of them on TV.
Just say no.

Handsome is the last thing he is (except for smart. and funny). And the fact that even Krista was flirting with Justin prior to the knife incident says it all about her taste in men, I think. That woman's judgement is for shit.
Hasn't Belly folded yet? Who the hell goes there?
I do quite enjoy ragging on him though. But I can do that without having to stomach having him on my precious tv.

There was a small Q&A in his (and my) hometown newspaper today. The interviewer had no grasp on the concept of BB. She asked him questions about his business and what living in LA is like. Blechhhh. I may have to move if he gets voted on the show.
Damn. I liked it here.

I think the best part was reading Booger's...um..."acting" bio. I'm sure he just soared to superstardom after appearing in "Yes Dear" and "Jack and Jill" (huh?) With exposure like that, he's sure to have enough votes to get in the house.

From the
Geisha House site:
QUOTE
GEISHA HOUSE provides a sexy dining experience that titillates the senses, beginning with the palate and continuing from there…
While most sushi restaurants tend to ignore or hide from Japan’s rich sexual history… GEISHA HOUSE embraces it.
A combination of five star sushi restaurant set in the atmosphere of a surreal high class brothel, the goal of GEISHA HOUSE is to make the client climax.

For the love of Fisty, that has got to be the STUPIDEST description for a restaurant EVER. And thus, it has all the hallmarks of having Mike "Booger" Malin's hands all over it.
Eww, I just had a fleeting mental image of Booger trying to put his hands all over a woman. That would definitely be a "close your eyes and think of England" situation.

I've been to Geisha House twice for different events, and it's okay. The decor is fine, the layout is actually pretty cool. There are lots of different rooms for dancing or eating or whatever. The sushi is also good, although I've had better. Best thing I've ever had there is whatever signature cocktail they concocted for the Grey's Anatomy DVD launch party, because that was amazing, and whatever the chocolate truffles they were serving for dessert. Finally, the wait staff and bartenders all dress in gay Japanese anime sailor outfits, which is kind of funny and disturbing? With the striped shirts & all? Yeah.
Just thought y'all might like to know. I had no idea it was a Boogie restaurant at the time, not that it would matter one way or another. Although I do agree with whomever said it earlier: he is an asshole.

Media whore like Boogie forget that it takes a lot of work to maintain a career. There are talented people who have their 15 minutes, and then have to keep a career. (Infomercials?)
Here's a hint for the boogster: don't get fat and maintain your personal appearance. Look what happened to Bill Shatner.

Let us not forget Booger's reprehensible behavior when it came to Autumn. He tried to sleep with her to get votes. Autumn was never my favorite of that season, but the dumbass Chilltown alliance really tortured her needlessly and acted like they were in junior high. Seriously, I hated Dr. Will until Booger and Shannon were gone. He ended up redeeming himself and becoming my favorite player ever, but only after he made me forget his slimy friendship with the Booger.
