I'm hoping Julie will stop being in denial and truly embrace her Bot-ness. It's bad when the Diary Room couch has more personality than the host.

I'll be the lone voice that says.... Cool, Julie.
I liked her outfit. She tried to be more enthusiastic. Which, well, sometimes it worked, at least for me. As the Chenbot, She's a good counterpoint to all the hamster drama. I don't think the BB host should have too much "personality." Leave that to the hamsters.

Since Julie has not left Big Brother to do the evening news, or anything, we just can't imagine her parting gesture to her

I have to say, despite the Kaysar/Jekomifer faux pas, I think Julie actually didn't do too bad.

C) She FINALLY asked some tough questions of the evictee (though this is more the producers and writers than her)

Julie actually admitted

I've decided Julie is to blame for this mess of an HoH. If she had caught the problem when Mike's light didn't work, maybe they wouldn't have to redo the competition.
I didn't catch the rules of the game entirely, but assuming the slowest person was only eliminated if everyone got the question right then Mike could have answered last and it not impact the game because that was the round Janie was eliminated by getting the question wrong.
So if Julie had caught the mistake with Mike, when it happened again with Howie they could have just done another question. No one else seemed to have problems with their buzzers so this would have solved the problem and given us a real winner.
I still don't understand how she missed it with Mike but caught it with Howie.

Who was the snarky bitch on the show last night, and what did they do with the real Chenbot?
I don't know, I don't care. Maybe the real Julie Chen escaped from a creepy mansion in Connecticut, destroyed the Chenbot in an epic battle over a Tic-Tac (aka "fuel"), rolled in some glitter, fluffed her hair, stalked up to Les and said "Stepford THIS motherfucker!" Then marched right onto the set and decided to take her ire towards her husband's robot lust out on all the BB famewhores.
Actually, I like that story, and I'm sticking to it.
And I love this new Julie Chen. This is a woman I can imagine getting wasted on a beer at The Well, and confessing all kinds of dirty secrets: "And don't even get me started on what Jase SMELLS like. And you know that shampoo we put in the shower? I'm not saying *I* peed in it, but..." And then we'd howl with laughter and she'd share her glitter application secrets and we'd totally be snarky, bitchy BFF.

Eh, I cut Chenbot a break on this one.
Although, Chenbot has been upgraded this season.........the
"Chenbot 7.0" only programmed for certain tasks.....so being a Judge for technical malfunctions (when she's currently programmed for asking the HOH comp questions), is just too much for a Chenbot 7.0 to handle.
I blame the programmers of then Chenbot.
Well, actually it's the responsibility of the Official judges who oversee the competition.......and it's their responsibility to notify TPTB, who in turn then send that info to the Chenbot 7.0.
All of that responsibility takes time, I guess.
In the immortal words of James: Dumbasses.

I TIVO'd that episode, and after reviewing it a few times, the next shot to Julie after Ericka was declared the winner seems like she was caught off guard cuz she's looking to someone off to the side for a millisecond as if she was talking to them. Maybe it's me, but her face seemed less than composed and I think she did notice the problems, but the show must go on when live.

On the morning show with Kaysar the day after his eviction, Julie says something at the end of the interview mentioning Janelle as being the new HOH. Can't remember the context, but it was said. I wonder how many people who don't have internet thought she screwed up?

I am so tickled that Julie is now smacking the evicted HGs with their own words. James strode out all puffed up and proud and Julie hits him with, "you have called Janelle a whore, etc. How can you call her your friend?" James face was priceless. I could just see the Chenbot's microchips glinting as she thought, "now that's DOOG TV, motherfuckers!"

I'm actually enjoying Julie this season, instead of wishing they'd dump her and replace her with Will. (No, I'm not kidding.) At least one of the Hammies got the joke, and I want to say it was Dani.
I have always found the Chenbot endearing for her robot-like ways, but this season's version that gives the evicted Hammies hell as soon as they leave the house is fabulous.
