Highlights. Heh.

Adam’s plan held together. Sharon must not have gotten Ryan’s beefy ear prior to the veto meeting and eviction. Ryan let the nominations stand and Adam, with Ryan’s blessing, evicted Sharon. Sheila seemed shocked to have had her butt pulled out of the fire. Adam, of course, was thrilled to be standing in the F3 with his closest allies in the game.

Part One of the final HOH competition was held. It was an endurance comp and it involved water. As the boyz figured, Sheila went out without much of a fight. Afterward, she made remarks about not wanting to get sick or drown and about how she wants to play in Part Two anyway.

What surprised Sheila was that Adam fell so soon after she did. It was only about 10 minutes. Adam did not tell her that he had agreed to throw Part One to Ryan – instead, he told her that he had slipped. Ryan and Adam told each other that they could have stayed up there for hours.

Adam said that Sharon had totally gotten inside Ryan’s head. Ryan agreed and said he’s over it now.

The boyz are pleased that each of them will have someone campaigning for them in the jury house. Ryan will have Sharon and Adam will have Sheila. Ryan calls that an advantage for Adam, because Sheila is a campaigning machine.

Sheila is touched and grateful to Adam for saving her. She was resigned to going home. Adam told her that he would have had a hard time voting her out. Awwww, sweet.

Part Two of the final HOH is likely to be held today, with Part Three taking place Wednesday on the live show. Since the finale is back to Sunday, that means the HOH and the immediate eviction should finish by tomorrow night. And I was looking forward to a long, drawn-out battle. Ah, well.

At 1 p.m. HT, page 3, post 38, Ryan is showering, Adam is boisterously rehashing the game, and Sheila is being Sheila. The BEEBEEs, no longer praying for the sweet release of death, now bask in the peace and solitude.

Part Two of the HOH competition was held Tuesday afternoon and the winner was… Adam!! It’ll be mano a mano tomorrow. Boyz Only. No Girls Allowed. (I typed this at 3 p.m. HT before the competition ended – it was that easy to predict.) Sheila will have to wait in the kitchen while the boyz play Part Three.

Sheila said it was hard, it was too heavy, she was confused, etc., etc., etc.

Sheila is all over Adam to pick her for F2 if he wins it all. She promised to vote for Adam if Ryan evicts her. She’ll also campaign in the jury house for him.

Adam and Ryan talked about picking each other for F2 and have all but started spending their new-found wealth. They worked out the way they think the voting will go, and they have Adam beating Ryan 5-2.

Sheila told Adam that he doesn’t owe Ryan anything.

Ryan told Adam that he doesn’t owe Sheila anything.

Both Ryan and Sheila sucked up to Adam.

The guinea pigs don’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, as Adam has assumed the feeding and BEEBEEing responsibilities.

At 5:30 p.m. HT, page 4, post 60, the fun is probably over for the day. If anything of interest happens, I’ll be back.

Overnight, Sheila started in on both Adam and Ryan. She told them each that she had played an amazing game and it's so hard for her now to have her fate in their hands. She deserves to win just as much as anyone else. She needs the money. Ryan already won things. Sheila doesn't want to feel like a beggar. She only performed so badly in the final HOH competiton, Parts One and Two, because she isn't getting any sleep.

Ryan and Adam didn't like Sheila acting like they should be carrying her to the end and they dreaded the long night of haranguing they faced if Sheila didn't get her Tylenol PM.

Adam seemed to have decided to throw Part Three of the competition to Ryan. Ryan said that Adam got rid of Sharon for him and he would get rid of Sheila for Adam.

Adam told Sheila he isn't sure of beating her at the end. She told him he can't assume what the jury will do, so he should stop trying to count votes. Then she started counting his votes and said he would only need one more to beat her. I suspect she's being generous in counting her own votes.

Ryan just flat out told Sheila that he and Adam have been working together from the beginning. He said he doesn't owe Sheila anything and he didn't want to make promises to her that he wasn't going to be able to keep. When she started on the money he's already won, Ryan said that he earned that fair and square.

Adam said that Ryan has been there for him since the beginning. Sheila threatened him, implying she would campaign against him if she gets sent to the jury house. Adam didn't appreciate being threatened and ranted about it for some time. Sheila later backpedaled hard and insisted that she wasn't making any threats. Adam and Ryan both told Sheila that if they go against her, yes, they risk losing her vote, but if they go against each other, then they lose that vote.

The hammies went to bed marveling at the face that there were probably still some 'psychos' up watching them. At about 6:40 a.m. HT, page 7, post 93, that's where they remain.

Part Three of the HOH competition was held Wednesday on the live show and Ryan won by one point. Adam and Sheila were both given the opportunity to make their cases to Ryan in a last-ditch attempt to go to F2 with him. Adam didn’t say much. My eyes glazed over and all I could hear was white noise when Sheila started talking, so you’ll have to see the Broadcast Show Recap for details on her groveling.

Ryan, saying that Adam played a good game and deserved to be there, evicted Sheila. Sheila dissolved into a puddle of tears. Her interview was more of the same whining we’ve been seeing for days (months) about how much she needed the money. She was devastated - devastated, I tell you. She was so pitiable that the Chenbot was forced to offer some stiff and awkward words of comfort, reminding Sheila that she did make it to the final three. *YAWN*

Back at the sausage fest, Adam and Ryan congratulated themselves for being the best BB players evah, rehashed the game, farted, spit, bashed Sheila, patted themselves on the backfat some more, and picked things out of assorted orifices. The next several days will almost certainly be more of the same, so this may be my last highlight of the season.

With that in mind, I’d like to express my appreciation for all the hard work the recappers have done. I’ve enjoyed this season, thanks in no small part to the wonderfully witty, entertaining, and iron-stomached recappers. I’ll be looking forward to reading your thoughts, opinions, and rants again when BB10 starts up.

Also, a big thanks to everyone who reads, lurks, or posts in the many other threads, both BB-related and non, for making this such an enjoyable place to hang out, and to the admins and mods who keep it so every day.

At 9:45 p.m. HT, page 2, post 27, the boyz are playing pool and speculating about the final show and who will be there from their families to validate their exalted opinions of themselves.

The jury questioning took place Thursday night. Sadly, we didn't get to see it, but Adam was worked up in that Adam way afterward and both seemed unhappy with Sheila, Joshuah, Chelsia, and Sharon. Adam practiced his speech beforehand, but it seemed to be focused on using the money to help kids rather than on his game play. Also, he said everything with crazy eyes and arms a-flailing, so it might not have been as powerful as he would have liked. It sounds like the comps Adam threw are an issue with some jury members. Ryan said before the interrogation that he was just going to wing it.

They're asleep on Friday morning and it's all over but the crying... or the kissing - you know, whichever way they decide to go.
