As Fisty sits in his cage, surrounded by cedar shavings and the dusty remnants of the many Corn Nuts he has consumed over the summer of Big Brother 8, he cannot help but get a little misty eyed at the thought of his awesome HT posters. So he would like to offer his thanks to all of you.

First, Fisty would like to say thank you from his Admin crew, all of whom were relatively unschooled when it came to running a message board. The Admins have been schooled, but hard, over the course of the summer, however they never could have made it through intact without the patience of the HT participants. Their first and last concern was always you. Yes, you. The ones who posted non-stop, the ones who did not post a single time but were here every day to read the recaps, and the majority who fell somewhere inbetween. All through the abrupt shut down by our original webhost, the server migration, the hack, the upgrade, the poaching of our unique recaps - proving once again that HTers are inimitable - to the new board set up, the Admins thank you for your encouragement, kindness, patience and the unabashed joy you seem to have with HT. That makes Fisty's summer every year.

A special mention must be made of Fisty's fabulous moderator, Tooletta. She poked, prodded, kicked asses, moved, merged and mashed posts when necessary, and kept you in line with good humor and persistence. Fisty thanks Toolie and wishes her good luck with her upcoming litter.

In the summer of Big Brother Ate Fisty's Soul, HTers have set a new record for number of users at one time, we blew right past the 2,000 member mark, we have averaged 23 million page hits a month and we can still say we're one of the cleanest boards on the Internet. Yes, Fisty does take great pride in that. *glares at SeeBS boards*

Particular gratitude goes to those who have donated to Fisty's stockpile. Your generosity made it possible for us to be able to find a good webhost and it has obviously paid dividends for everyone here, not just with the new webhost (Fisty loves you, Devin!), but in keeping HT ad-free. Thank you.

And while Fisty might be getting ready to hibernate, HamsterTime will continue over the long, cold winter of our discontent. Check out our new Social Lounge and Entertainment forums.

I can't say I'm sad for BB8 to end, though I will be sad to see many of you leave during the off-season. I hope many of you will stick around to take advantage of all that shiny new bandwidth we now boast, and continue to be a part of HT during the off-season.

Since I plan to stumble groggily through the threads of Hamstertime during the off-season and hang out in ChatHT, this isn't really goodbye for me. But I will stand at the door and shed a tear or two as many of you leave the habitrail for the season. Just remember, we want you back next year, so don't go drifting off without bookmarking the site.

I love all the recappers and everyone who comes to play, or to lend a number to the bottom of the page. I'm very happy that Fisty added a Playroom this year and now the other threads that remind me that there is a life outside BB recap reading.

Awww, not over yet! I wish to thank you all for your wonderful work here at HT! I will stick around for the off season and mingle. I just got started posting so I must build up my friendships and posts over the off season!

Well the worst season of BB is almost history(IMO)...I'm not even sure I'll watch it tonight.
I have this summer as in the past summers since I found this wonderful site found laughter and tears from the recaps that all of you guys have written. The mods were great even under all the added pressures this year brought(at least you don't have to replace the astroturf)...wow I feel like summer camp is ending...Thanks to all of you...last one out turn off the lights and make sure the doors locked..........fisty........you're the cutest rodent I've ever seen

Thanks to all who run this site, I enjoyed it this summer. I know all that goes into running a site, as I was previously an owner/operator of a network of chat sites that entailed much more than just message boards, so I am no stranger to the amount of work that is needed. I appreciated it.

I stumbled upon HT only by chance and good luck, and wow was I in for a nice surprise! I have sincerely enjoyed this site and have loved the recaps by each and every one of you. The ups - the downs - the many downs - wouldn't have been the same anywhere else but here. Thank you so very much for all the hard work and dedication at keeping this site to be the best. I plan to frequent here often...on and off season....Now I'm off to get good and drunk before seeing either of the D's win money tonite...Maybe if I'm drunk it won't "hurt" so bad to see DaniSpawn or EvelDick win....

I want to thank all the recappers for making one of the worst seasons of BB very entertaining and bearable. I will miss you all who will be joining Fisty in hibernation and I plan to hang around in the cool new forums during the winter.

This was my first season watching BB and I got completely sucked in as I was afraid/hoped I might. I checked out lots of recap sites but Hamstertime was the one I returned to and eventually subscribed to. The recaps actually are often better than the feeds! The encouragement of free expression plus the quality of the writing all tempered by the excellent administration/moderation makes this site absolutely addictive and great summer's guilty pleasure.

I want to add my thanks to everyone at HT, the mods, admins, recappers, and other assorted posters. You've all made a less than stellar season of BB entertaining and fun and I'll be looking forward to next year (when I hope we'll have our very own hammie in the house). All the best to you, Tooletta, and your new HTer, as well as to the others who are expecting.

I just wanted to add my thanks to all the Mods and Admins of HT. You guys do a great job and I love lurking here every summer.

This summer was a mix blessing, It caused me to finally create a user id and log in. But it also made me question my love for BB due to my not so happyness with how the season was handled by the producers. I am glad that no matter what, i still loved to read the highlight threads every morning and I offer a big thanks to the few Highlighters this season. And when I did have the time to actually read the full recaps, I want to thanks for all the giggles and chuckles I got from reading them. I cant imagine reading another sights recaps.

I hope you all have a good off year. And see you next summer.

Thanks to everyone for keeping me company during the long summer nights! I have been lurking in the shadows for many seasons. I first found hamstertime over on ezboard and fell in love with fisty! The recappers are to funny for words!

I read Fisty's Goodbye first thing this morning and it made me all teary-eyed and sad..... Everyday starts with HT in my humble abode and I also think it is the absolute best board on The Net. (sorry for stealing your thoughts tooletta but they just match my own perfectly).

Thanks for all the good times and laughter... looking forward to more of the same. A day without HT is a day without sunshine!

I did live recap elsewhere several years ago (before I was aware of HT) and know the hardwork that goes into it. The only people I feel more sorry for is the cameramen and sound people who HAVE to listen to every word these whining idiots say during their entire workday.

At least you recappers could step away (or drink or both!). :)

Rock on, see ya next year, if there is a next year. Of course there will be since I've read the ratings have been good. And who else will BB torture (besides us) during the summer!

As it has been in past seasons, Hamster Time is again the best part of Big Brother! I get the feeds every year, and only post & recap occasionally, but I'm here lurking every day, you guys are the best. I'm thinking next year I'll just skip the live feeds and rely on recaps alone. If I had known it was all going to turn out the way it did (Donato-fest), I'd have done that this year for sure.

Just wanted to add my thanks and kudos for a job well done to all the recappers, mods, and admins, you are all top-notch.
I'll be checking in next summer, and maybe during the year too (if I can tear myself away from the LOST boards),

I just wanted to say thanks to all of the fearless recappers. Reading Hamstertime was oodles more fun than actually watching the feeds/show! You guys deserve hazard pay for this season - if only you had a dollar for every time Dick spit something up!

One question: does anyone know the make of the BB clothes washer? I am in the market for one, and I want to make sure to not get that model.

I don't want to say good bye....and you can't make me anymore than you could make me hate Dick, hehe. This has been a difficult season for me, being in such a small alliance. You all don't understand, it was haaaaarddddd and fruuuuuusssssttttrrrraaaattttiiiinnnnggg. But, it was also worth it. This is the first time I have been happy about the finale since Lisa won.

I want to thank all the mods. Fisty, I loved your sticky post in General discussion. Mrs. Gryn, Magpie, and Tooletta, thanks for keeping me on track and for playing with me when I needed to play. Tsy, thanks for all your technical help. It was much appreciated. Gforce. thank you for being you!!! I know this was a really tough season for you with more work than usual.

Last but not least, my hats off to the recappers! I could't pitch in as much as usual this season. I did when I could but had to take it easy. I hope to be in better form next year with no injuries. Uaintjak, I missed the heck out of you and Stepchylde and Shadylady and Slaebo. Maybe that made it hard for me not to post as much too. I hope we are all back next season and that we get to see FMC there on the tube and feeds. There were some special recappers that I asked to step up for me and they did. You know who you are and I thank you! And of course, BFA forever!!!!!

As always, HT has rocked and I am so very happy this place is here. I humbly bow to all of you who keep things going and keep me informed.

Fisty, you have the cleanest, smartest, funniest cage in the pet shop (thanks to the awesomest Mods ever!). Have a great nap and we'll see you when you wake up again next summer. And you are such a gentleman that we won't even have to get all "I SAID it's time to get up!" about it either.

This does feel like the final campfire of summer camp. Kumbayah, hugs, and singing and all that. I'm so proud that our little Summer Camp on the banks of Lake Snarky has grown so large and yet still feels small and cozy if that makes any sense. All because our Camp Couselors are the BEST.

Ok - enough comparisons. Thanks mods and recappers for all your hard work making it fun despite the icky-ness of this season. I'll be hangin around here and there in the off season, but ready to go full force again next summer to root on FMC in BB9!

I'm not as clever or eloquent as InkyL but I want to add my sincerest and most heart-felt thanks to all the mods, recappers and posters. This is the best message board out there of any kind. It's been a pleasure reading all of the posts and getting to know all of you. I look forward to more fun and "shenanigans" in the future.

I won't even begin to list all the administrators and recappers because I will forget some..... and you are ALL fantastic and funny. You made this sad, sad season of BB - a season which should be buried in an unmarked grave and forgotten - bearable, and even..... dare I say..... almost enjoyable?

You know what's nice about this site? Whether it's the mods or the posters (probably a mix of both), even when I disagreed with someone, I didn't hate them. Seriously.

I mean, I've been to sites where some of the mods and posters I just cannot stand. I don't know why exactly, if it's the general intelligence level, smaller community, or mutual respect. But, even if I rolled my eyes in private a couple times, I don't feel like I want to just smack somebody up the head. So kudos to you all for not annoying the ever loving crap out of me. That is truly no small feat.

Oh, and I'm so glad that this year there seems to be an option of not having to leave Hamster Time due to lack of traffic. I know and have found already some common ground with some of the the Dick lovers (that phrase still cracks me up) in the social and entertainment areas. That's a good thing. And, I look forward to "never having to say goodbye."

And, if I could have I probably would have inserted a couple of sappy smileys in this post.

I was always just a casual viewer of BB until I heard of HamsterTime last year. I lurked all last year and finally joined this year. Never had the live feeds (because I. Just. Can't. install RealPlayer, I hate it soooo muuuuuch), but I love reading the recaps and this year was able to watch a little with the ShowToo feeds.

Now I am totally hooked.

This is easily the best board anywhere for smart, savvy posters and recappers. Even though I turned the feeds off along time ago (after IceTeagate), I kept coming back just to read the great snark. From TWOP, through EZboard until here, the mods and posters have always impressed me with the way they keep each other in check.

I just want to chime in here and encourage everyone who can to stick around during the off-season. I'm already finding out so many cool things about HTers that I didn't know, thanks to the discussions in the new threads. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone a lot better over the coming months, so I sincerely do hope y'all will keep hanging around here as time allows.

And for those who don't stick around, we'll keep a light on for you!

I'm going to make a vow to stop in and lurk LOL! I'm good at lurking.

This is the only time I've posted here - although I've been lurking in the shadows all along. Everyone here kept me watching BB and BBAD - if only because I wanted to find out what all the other haters of Dick and Spawn had to say. I never had to read compliments or rationalizations about the Donatos and really, that means a lot. You all got me through my long days at work and I will count the days until next season. TTFN (that's an Alice reference if you didn't catch it).

And here we are again, at the end of another season, and thank god it is over! Thanks to all the recappers who worked so hard to make the hamsters entertaining, and boy oh boy was that a chore at times this year! Thanks to the mods - you had a tough row to hoe this year, and you did a great job with it.

As suck-tastic as this season has been it would have been even worse without Hamstertime and the faithful Hamster Watchers.

Just think, next year will be our seventh season here at Hamstertime - 7 is lucky right? Next year will be the best BB ever!!! (Yeah, right)

And with that, my Hamster-watching lovelies (you know, I think that might be the first time I trotted that out this season, sad) I bid you a fond adieu for the year. Enjoy the off season!

My favorite houseguests won BB8 yet most people were against them. That didn't stop the BFA! They stood firm with their Dick love.
We may have been a small alliance but we had a great time and I was happy to align with a group of such "Good People"

Personal thanks to HTers like Lurker who were always there to help you out when you needed it, even if you were on the wrong side of the line drawn in the sand. Special thanks to sis Cubkip and new bff RonnieRoller who had no problem saying what so many others were thinking. Way to take one for the team, Ronnie. And finally, I must thank uaintjack. He is the only one who showed up for my wrap party.
