I'm voting famewhore - didn't she try out for American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance or something? And she's on IMDB and lives on this coast. I was going to say something about her telling CBS that it's strategy because she doesn't want to be made a fool of or admit that whatever they had is probably over, but then I remembered Kris and how very unfamewhorey he appears to be so definitely a famewhore. As this is the case, I'm not making any judgments until I see the full segment tomorrow night.

If this is true, Jessica's brother is going to come back from Iraq with his weapon loaded and shoot the hell out of Eric's "legitimate balls."

I don't think that he will need to. Jessica stated earlier that if she were Erica from last year, she would have kicked the Boogman in his nuts.

I am not convinced that Eric puts Jessica in the same category that The Boogfuck put Erica last year, but I am starting to feel that he is not into her nearly as much as she thinks he is.

I do see what you are saying, but on the other hand, I would not keep a picture of myself and ex-boyfriend out if we had broken up. And if this is true that they are still together, then imho he is a disgusting vessel of human waste.

I still have pictures of me and a boyfriend I broke up with over seven years ago that I could easily frame and conveniently place behind me should CBS want to come interview me. Of course he'd have to become newsworthy first so........

That's a good point. And having watched Big Brother for six seasons, I don't think the producers are above asking family and friends to pull out the pictures of the houseguest for a convenient placement. Besides from Eric's babbling, even when they're off-again, they're still very good friends (except for when she cheated on him and they didn't talk for three months).
gunshyne
They did that whole thing with Kris. He was also saying it was strategy and Dani loved him...blah blah blah. Then they would show Dani & Dearly Departed Nick kissing and declaring their undying love.

Maybe CBS has something similar in store for Cheryl. Cause you know just having your significant other make a fool of you on national TV is never enough. They have to pour the salt deep into those wounds.
wickedtong
I found these at that oddandstupid link someone pasted above for Dani. Eric's ex or current girlfriend looks a lot like Jessica to me.

http://www.oddandstupid.com/BB8/Eric/erics...ryl_texiera.htm

The only thing worse, to me, than Eric actually having a romance on television, is Eric playing a game and using romance to advance his standing on television.

Iron Fortified Elli
The fact that she said it was 100% stategery doesn't mean much. For all we know, she could have said,

"Oh, OGG. No. Just... no. Ewww. Yes, there was a dark period in my life, but that was over 5 years ago. I've never been able to get him to leave me alone entirely, but whew, you should have seen how desperate and pathetic I was back then. I actually let him... ugh... OGG... kiss me. Ack!!!

"But that was before I knew that he was an Ericsexual. Er-ick thinks tongue-kissing is icky - and frankly, I was pretty turned off to the whole thing for quite a while after I dated Er-ick. Er-ick does enjoy nudity, but only his own. Hardly a day goes by when he doesn't remind me of the one horrifying day that he exposed me to his nudity. Oh, OGG. Never again.

"No, he isn't interested in Jessica. It's 100% strategy. It has to be, because Jessica has those girly bits that make Er-ick start twitching and convulsing in distress."
SBTZMom
I do not think it is a coincidence she wants the publicity...she is involved on some sort of theater production of "Debbie does Dallas"
Here is the promo
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...logID=274911368

All of this has happened, and been listed online since Eric has been in the house...not before.

Just another famewhore it appears!
mlp224
Or, along those lines, Iron, something like "Jessica?? Oh yeah, that's 100% strategy. It has to be - our relationship ended when I came home one day and found him in bed with a guy!"

So I gotta question ... is Eric really allergic to lobster OR does he not want to let his new Catholic girl showmance know he keeps Kosher? Opinions?

He's always talking about his afflictions. I'm guessing it's probably true.
SBTZMom
He's said numerous times he is a picky eater. (I might add that he holds his fork in the oddest way, and examines his food like there's something hidden in it!)
MrsGryn
Sounds like someone needs a food taster!
Iron Fortified Elli
He did say the other evening that if he didn't want to eat something Jessica's grandma cooked, he would claim to be allergic.

ETA: I wouldn't guess it had anything to do with kosher. I would guess Er-ick is just weird about food, as he is about everything else.

(I hate lobster)

My guess is that CBS is setting up for the burial of Eric. Now that they are nearing the end of his usefulness as their agent in the house (AP ends at final four, and I'd guess we've got at least one double eviction coming up soon) and they know that sooner or later either Eric or a Donato has to go, they're choosing Eric. So begins phase one of operation "Show Eric is an Ass." My guess is he'll start getting unfriendly edits next week too, where they show him being a vile, repulsive little weasle-snake. And he'll mysteriously start telling the diary room that Jessica is fun in the house, but he's probably going to run screaming as soon as they are out.

Could anyone really keep Kosher in the house? Honestly, I don't know. I know certain things have to be kept separate and it's quite a bit of work, right?
I_Hate_Them_All
Jessica already knows he's Jewish. Has Eric ever mentioned keeping kosher before? I haven't gotten the impression that he's particularly observant.
MrsGryn
I'm sure if Eric were kosher, BB would make allowances. They did for Kaysar's halal meat.

(How terrible is it that I've forgotten how to spell his name?)

Well. After seeing that clip of Cheryl on tv, I can TOTALLY see the two of them together as a couple. *hurl*

That depends how Kosher you keep. Not all Jews who keep kosher go so far as to have two refrigerators, or even two sets of cookware. A friend of mine, who is Jewish, was explaining to me that she can eat bacon and still be kosher because bacon is cured. I was like, uhm, okay, can you show me in the Torah where that exception is listed? And of course, it isn't, but it fits into her personal definition of keeping kosher.

On the topic of Eric, even if his relationship with Eric is just for strategy, I don't see him sitting in the diary-room saying the foul and nasty, booger-like things we saw last year about Erika. That was just downright hateful, and while Eric is certainly no saint, I don't view him as a Booger, either

I completely agree. I think she was shown because she wanted the attention.

I am thrilled to know Eric is not with Cheryl any longer, and not playing Jess..whew

Cheryl came across to me as someone trying to get thier 15 mins of fame *rolls eyes*
enjoy it while it lasts honey!

I loved how his brother shared he was glad to see Eric with Jess..YAY!!

In Eric's DR on tonight's show, he was spot on about Amber, and he doesn't even know about the despicable things she has said about him.

Well...just because he's not with Cheryl anymore doesn't mean he's not playing Jessica.

I completely agree that Cheryl saw her opportunity to jump on the realitytv-famewhore train and grabbed it with both paws. And was I the only one who saw that she's also the giggly/cutesy cheerleader-type who sounded-except for the Smurfette voice-a lot like Jess?
Just Kimmie
Hmmmm...is it POSSIBLE, just POSSIBLE...that Eric's family said what they said about Eric's other realtionship being over in order to help foster Eric's game?? In other words, with all those Jess-Eric showmance fans...they wouldn't want to rock that boat and have the voters turn on Eric????
Roxy61
Eric is freaking out right now because he knows Zach will put Jess up. He's already giving Dani instructions for how they should threaten and strong arm Zach. What an idiot. I hope they vote him out.
eshanna
no matter what happens from this point, I shall enjoy this week because Er-ick is already squirming and looks like he's going to cry. Hee!

Just Kimmie
Yep. So far, the week's looking GOOD!!!!

Start squirmin, vermin!!!
eshanna
the only reason I will really take this degree of pleasure in seeing Er-ick miserable is I am so sick of him running his mouth off about people who don't take their nominations "well", "maturely", whatever. I want to see how well HE will handle it if he or Jess gets nommed. I doubt he will be as mature as Zach Rabbit was last week.

That and I think Er-ick is a total dink. So there.

ETA: We already saw how Er-ick took it when he was on the block. He was crying. Legitimately crying..
eshanna
I totally agree, and that's what drives me so nuts about him- he's such a freaking hypocrite. Well! Da Bunnyman will show you this week- start crying!!!!
Roxy61
My gawd, Eric is such a geezer. Not to take away from the legimate pain he may be feeling from his falls - I bet he's the kind of guy that takes you to a party and then suddenly comes down with a migraine/asthma/stomach ache if you are having too much fun without him. Or any other time things aren't going his way.

Most definately, he strikes me as being very insecure and you can see his discomfort in the house. He tries to mask it by being arrogant but there are times he looks akward and out of place. I imagine he's going to be having a stressful week. His alliance is going to be shattered as the four of them push each other in front of the bus trying to secure individual/dual security. Jess and Eric could be in trouble since she is the one who put him on the block. D/D have been "nice" to him all game.
Night Flame
Well, I was surprised with the way that family/girlfriend interview session went. It wasn't the hatchet job I was expecting, so it shocked me. Though I do have to say, his ex is cutesy, but even creepier than him. Which is saying something.

Now, was anyone else annoyed by Eric talking to Jessica as if she were a small child when she didn't immediately agree with him about ousting Amber? And even more annoyed that she took it like she was a small child?
Iron Fortified Elli
Yes, very much, Night Flame. It's one of many things that make me dislike the ratfaced weasel so much. And Jessica isn't too high on my list after letting Ick control not one, but two HOHs of hers. He was holding court up in the HOH bedroom like he had been crowned queen.
Night Flame
I forgot about this until just now because of how cool the HOH competition was last night, but can anyone tell me what in the blue heck Eric was doing last night at the beginning of the broadcast and why production wouldn't have told him he was on the air? And they just kept going back to him, showing him doing whatever the hell it was he was doing, over and over and over. Even Chenbot looked like she was going to crack a giggle out from watching him.
BBFanJamie
It's their whole "pet the cat" thing. I am not sure how it all got started, but I saw on BBAD last night that Zach said he wants to use it on the dance floor lol
SBTZMom
Eric is crying....Eric is groveling...Eric is full of shame!

I did not realize that CBS recruited him by putting a gun to his head to make him be America's player.

Maybe the big joke on Eric has been that America has been planning these nominations not because they like him, but they want to see him fail miserably, because he has become such a smarmy lttle weasel.

Just a thought...
Iron Fortified Elli
This is exactly what he did when he was on the block. He went up to the HOH when Dani was there and sat there and cried like a little punk. I might have some sympathy, but he isn't even on the block first of all, and second, he forgot all about his own pathetic groveling right away and became an arrogant asshole... well, more of an arrogant asshole than he already was. Bad-ass indeed. Now, as soon as things aren't going his way, he back to crying? Hah! In addition to his voice modualtion problems, he appears to have issues with his short-term memory.
SBTZMom
Not to sound mean, but when I fast forward my DVR, it's hysterical to watch Eric with all his tics in high speed.

ETA: Is there no limits to what this guy will do out of desperation for more camera time?!?!
I truly think out of all 8 seasons he is the worst of the worst famewhores!

"Secondarily," is it a word? challenges Jam. Eric assures her it is. They discuss adverbs.

Yes, Er-ick, secondarily is a word. However, you are using it incorrectly. The word you want is, as Jammmm suggested, secondly. The two are not synonymous.

Here is one of the things that just makes me hate the ratfaced weasel so much, as if there weren't hundreds more. He just has to select the most pretentious word (appropriate or not) for every simple statement he wants to make. "I assure you most earnestly that secondarily is a legitimate word, my good fellow." (I know he was talking to Jammm, but I'm making a point.) As long as it sounds pompous, everyone will respect his wit and intelligence. Gaaaahhhh!!!! Don't even get me started on the laugh and the laugh-talking.

No, thank you. I knew there was something fishy about 'secondarily' but was too lazy to look it up.

Eric reminds me of a Bruce McCulloch character from Kids in the Hall. The boss (Kevin MacDonald) calls him into his office because coworkers have been complaining about his overuse of the word "acertain." Throughout the conversation, Bruce inserts 'acertain' into every possible sentence, mostly incorrectly. Kevin ends the meeting, using the word "elucidate," and we see Bruce rolling the new word around on his tongue, savoring each syllable.

Yes, agreed 100%. I think Er-ick has figured out the other hammies are just stunned by his excess verbiage, so it seems to have gotten worse. He's using "shock and awe" to make them think he's saying something worthwhile.

To be fair, she's been very open about her period with him and what it coincides with. They've had many a conversation about her period, the timing, and her supplies. In fact, she offered him a heating pad for his back on Thursday/Friday and said that she would be starting soon. I'm just chalking it up to the usual conversations about their bodily functions.

That being said, Eric should just leave her alone for right now. When she needs him, I'm sure she'll find him - she hasn't had trouble with that in the past. I get the feeling he sort of feels like everything is crumbling around his ears and he's clinging to her as tightly as she's clung to him.
