Not to be off-topic....but I can't chalk up America's vote to loving DICK!! or Daniele...as much as hating ERIC.

Looking at the CBS Popularity polls, DICK is the most popular, followed by Danielle, followed by Eric. So, I disagree. People think Dickwad is some kind of hero and probably feel bad for Dani.

What do I think? I think i'm gonna be sick.

I like your explanation better, but it's also possible that one or both is lying.
PuffTrinket
I thought Eric and Jess decided not to take the deal. Therefore,

1. Eric is lying just to mess with Dani and Dick
2. Eric is lying to Jess
3. Eric is lying to America
4. Eric is lying to himself
5. Eric is lying and has no idea why

What's the common denominator? Even Amber coud figure it out... Eric is lying. The only question is to whom?
Violetta
I think Eric and Jess did decide to take the deal. When Eric came out of the DR and then spent brooding time in the hammock, he went right to Dani and brokered the deal. I think Jess will do whatever Eric wants (and it's not like she has a vote this week). And I think we'll see him working Jen this afternoon.

Quite frankly, I hope he does save Dick and the two of them work together long enough to get Jam and that waste of space Ambore out. Neither one of them has ANY game other than coat tailing. Oh wait...Jameka has made moves in the game...she gave up five HOHs when she wasn't even on the block and saved a dangerous floater who would slit her throat for a slop pass. I do not want those two idiots to make F2, so Eric making a deal with the devil is fine with me.
Lausana
Put that way it sounds much better than what's in my head (i.e. wondering if the mouse or speaker cord is better for hanging myself) in regards to Dick staying. Oh the praying and yelling that would follow. But it would make things interesting. And we probably don't have a choice in the matter anyway, I'm sure Dick will stay.

At this point I'm resigned to Dick staying too. I hope he's more tolerable next week. If he's ranting and raving again then I'm done. I can't stand him. I could care less that Dustin's going home and I'm not partial to who wins this game. But I really can't deal with Dick right now.

Well, if DICK! is staying, then I am praying that Jen gets HOH.

She'll put DICK! up and tell CBS to shove it up their collective assholes.
Just Kimmie
This just in from The Bloody Obvious....DICK!! will only me more tolerable if he, Dani, or whomver he's aligned with as long as the HOH comp lasts actually wins HOH and doesn't put him on the mac. If he and Dani end up on mac again...all bets are off.

Hmmm Google is screwing with us - my search came up with Ben Franklin
eta - All the ben franklin quotes ... father of electricity and all ... possibly new furniture is arriving? An electric chair maybe?
Franklin paraphrased 'There is no little enemy' from James Harwell's 'There's no enemy little, viz. we must not undervalue any foe.'

Franklin once mentioned that most quotes attributed to him were the work of others.

Not that any of this matters to the rodents.

I didn't catch this on any of the recaps, but has Eric or Jessica approached either Zach or Jen to swing to their side and agree to vote out Dustin? I am guessing that they need both of them. Jessica does not want to be in a position where she would have to vote out Dustin if the vote is 3-3 (she would lose Amber and Jameka.)

I seriously doubt that Jen would agree to the plan. She would need a very good reason not to vote DICK! out of the house. What would Eric tell her? Well, we decided to keep DICK! because we promised each other the final four.

Jen's a lot of things. Stupid is not one of them. I would think that she would go straight to Dustin with the new plan.

I really like Jess, but agreeing to vote out Dustin is unbelievably stupid. She gained two new allies in Jen and Zach by not nominating them. She has no enemies in the house whatsoever. She will now.

What if Eric went to Jen and told her the deal with Dick was really for Jen, Eric, Dick and Dani in the final four - and they were lying to Jess? Could work...

Eric can make this work. He just has to want it and work it.

I'm so confused. Last night, Eric pitched the deal to Jess and pretty much pointed out what a bad deal it was (which I believe it is--why take "strong people" with you to F4 instead of Jam and Ambore?). Then Eric talks with Dani (or blows smoke up her ass) and then talks to Jess again, and Jess agrees to do it? But neither has talked with Jen or Zach, whose vote they need.

I have no idea what's going on. How can Eric ever trust Daniele after she turned on him? Talk about having a short memory! It was just last week!

Mostly, I'm getting burned out on this show which the producers have turned into the Dick and Daniele Donato Family Hour. If Dickwad stays and doesn't get immediately nominated again, I may be out until he does, checking only periodically to see who's doing what. Of course, that means relying on primarly the broadcast show, which is such an "accurate" representation of what's going on in the house! But If I wanted to watch sappy family reunion shows, I'd watch those, not Big Brother. If I wanted to watch Jerry Springer-esque screaming antics, I'd watch that show, not Big Brother.

They were waiting until today because they were afraid Jen would spill the plan before it gelled if they approached her too soon (I like Jen, but it's a legitimate concern IMO - she spreads information randomly in unpredictable ways, the sphynx). Zach's easy. All he needs is the word from Jess to vote Dust out and he's happy. Jen's going to need some more work. Eric has been concerned that the vote be 4-2 if at all possible so that Jess doesn't have to break the tie but I don't think that's a given at all.

If I were Jessica, I'd agree to trying to swing Jen's and Zach's votes so that they're on the line, along with Eric, for voting Dustin out. But if it is a tie, I think she'd be smarter to evict Dick and cover her own ass.

Actually, I think it would be smart for Jess to have Justin out, because him, Jam, and Ambore would chose each other over Jess. Her and Eric are first to go if they stuck to the "five".

Sure, but they don't have to deal with that situation right now. Jen and Jess have been getting along lately, and Zach has a crush on Jess. I would think that they may be able to use them later.

Plus, I am not convinced that it is a Dustin/Jameka/Amber alliance. It's more of a Dustin/Amber, Amber/Jameka situation.

Also, they would be breaking one of the only true alliances in the house. A strong alliance of two gets more powerful as time goes along.

As far as Jess is concerned there is a time to make a big move, and there are times to take the easy way out. This just seems a little early to me to "shake up the house."

Hah! That was just what it sounded like to me! Oh, poor awkward Zach.

I don't think Jessica will necessarily make an enemy of Zach if she goes with the plan to evict Dustin. Zach has been zaching back and forth between groups and has already indicated that he would do whatever his wady-wuv asks him to do. He might have a problem with Jerica switching up the vote without telling him, but even if she waits until the 11th hour, I think Zach will take it in stride.

Jenbot may be another matter, but Jessica's creepy little mouthpiece thinks he can handle Jen. I'm not so sure, but I do think that as much as Jenbot wants ED out of the house, automatons do not put personal grudges before logical game play.

Edited because I called Zach awkwad... fitting, but still...

They are all writing the FCC about the "manipulation" of the game, using the footage of Amber saying that the DR told her to keep Eric.

Amber LIES ALL THE TIME. How do we know she wasn't lying to cover her ass?

I know the DR can lead HG's down a road with questions, but outright telling them what to do?

I have not seen anywhere whether Jess decided to go along with Eric and the D's, or if they have even mentioned it to Zach or Jen. Has anyone heard anything?
I_Hate_Them_All
I don't think Jessica has anything to lose by voting out Dustin and I think it's a good strategic move for her and Eric. It breaks up the Dustin/Amber/Jameka power base and leaves Amber (arguably the dumbest person in the history of this show and that's really, REALLY saying something) as the only LNC survivor who could play for HOH, and I think Michael Vick will be elected president of PETA before Amber will win any sort of quiz-based competition.

I don't like Dick but I think the bawl-face on Amber if she sees Dustin go out the door tonight could rank with the moon landing as one of the greatest moments in television history.

Early this morning it sounded like Jess was on board to get rid of Dustin and their plan was to try to bring Zach and Jen aboard late in the day before the vote. It's still kind of hard to call what will happen, though. This is the first eviction day in a long time when I don't really have a good fix on who's going. I think it could really go either way tonight. It depends on what Zach and Jen do and what Jess does if she really does have to break a tie.

I still think Dick could go out the door.

This cracked me up! I have been very vocal about how much I loathe Dick, but I too think that this would be a good move for Eric and Jess. Amber and Jameka are not effective alliance members so why bother? And the description of Amber's "bawl-face" makes me want it even more now!

I think it would be fun to see all the hammies that have been treating him like a pariah for the last two months suddenly come scrambling to kiss his ass. I have no idea who he'd nominate but I think he does seem to have a delusional notion that he's part of some kind of "bros against hos" dynamic in the house. He says he'd go after "girls" which probably means Jameka (who even Zach has figured out doesn't like him) and either Jen or Amber. He luuurves Jessica and I think Dick would scare him off of nominating Dani. he's so weird, though, that no one he could nominate would surprise me.

It struck me that when the second (i think) person was evicted that Julie revealed that Eric was the AP. So I said to myself; "Well, nobody will be coming back into the house this year, does that mean there are two double eviction weeks?. Or something like that. Cause now that I think about it no one came back last year, but there was that move up the finale thing -- right?

Anywho, I wonder if this "puzzle" will continue in the sequester house and someone from sequester gets to come back if they can figure out the riddle/puzzle/possible nonsense that means nothing.

Amber and Jameka can't do anything to hurt Jess in the game anyway. Jameka can't play for HOH, Amber is too stupid to win one and they wouldn't have any numbers to get Jess out even if they did get HOH. She might lose them on the jury but in this game the jury always pretty much hates both people in F2 anyway. I don't think it's all that productive to think about jury votes during the game. It's all going to come down to who's sitting next to you.

I can't believe I'm saying this - but if DICK! gave me his word, I would trust him over Dustin.

Peeps here know how much I hate Dick, and how much it's going to piss me off that he probably won't get voted out tonight.

Nevertheless, I gotta agree on this. I never believed in the whole "telling it like it is" argument that Dick spouts because I still think the reality is that he tells it like he thinks it is, which isn't the same thing.

However, I will grudgingly admit that Dick has a much more proven track record to not go back on his word than Dustin does. In the context of a game, however, I don't care too much about this. I don't have problems with backstabbing and lying and believe that's a part of the game. I do have a problem with the verbally abusive crap Dick spews, and I still want him out.

In the short run, in might be a good move for Jess to vote out Dustin. But, in the long run, I still think Dick and Dani are solid and the longer they are in the harder it's going to be to get them out. I still think keeping Dick in tonight is going to be the downfall of every other hamster and that Dick and Dani are going to have a huge chance to make it to final two. This is the time to get Dick out. If they don't do it tonight, I firmly believe it's just not going to happen. I'd LOVE to be proven wrong. But, alas, I don't think I will be.

Dick staying in will have an emotional/personal toll on everyone else and they will vote each other out, and the very few lame attempts that are made to get rid of Dick are going to end up like they are tonight with the pawn being voted out.

I think they're all making a huge mistake. You get Dick out tonight, and Jess and Eric can regroup with Jen and Zach and get rid of the other three knuckleheads just as effectively as if they did it with Dick and Dani.
Snooky
I agree, Keith. Logically, don't keep proven competition winners over weaker players! Keep Ambore and Jameka, since they're allied with you now, giving you the majority numbers for votes. You will be able to beat them later on when the numbers shrink. Stay close to Dustin, and if he feels the need to go after one of the Jess/Eric pairing, he'll target Eric, not you (Jess). Don't make yourself a target, not when there are eight people left.

Definitely not the only one. While I detest Dick and everything he stands for, I really also detest alliances turning on each other before they have to. As I watch more and more reality TV, I'm more and more amazed by how solid the Tagi tribe in the first Survivor were. I hate this show and I'll tell you why.

Last week, Jessica wins HOH and I'm happy. I hate Dick and want him to leave. I stopped watching the feeds as soon as Jessica talked about putting up Dustin. I thought, great, Dustin will go, the people I'm rooting for, Jessica and Eric will be down an ally and stupid Dick will still be in the house and annoying as ever.

All of that happened, yet throughout it, somehow Eric flipped, took Jessica with him and now they are allied with the people I hated the most. Dustin went home and I was happy about it (partially because it made Amber upset and I'm down with anything that does that).

Yet, tonight during HOH, I found myself rooting for Dick, Danielle or Eric to win HOH. And now I'm excited again and will watch the feeds and recap and do all that crap I was doing a week ago.

It's official, I'm Big Brother's bitch.

I don't expect (or want) ED to win the whole thing. I'm no conspiracy theorist or anything, but I was pretty sure production would keep Dick in the game for a while, just as they kept Eric in (BASTARDS) the week before. But I think as soon as Dick's drawing power diminishes and/or they get close enough to the end that people are already invested and will watch with or without Dick's particular brand of drama, he'll most likely be gone. Cynical, I know. But bidnezz is bidnezz.

Heh...That's not cynical, that's wishful thinking.

I'm pretty sure Dick's going to win this whole thing. These hamsters are stupid, in my opinion, for not taking out the strongest alliance when they had the chance.

And, on a more personal note, I'm devastated that the most vile, dispicable, human (and I use that word loosely) is going to win again.

And, with that said, I'm definitely outties and I'm done watching this show unless I somehow see Dick's name next to the word EVICTED.
