What ever happened to that unitard?

Maybe Dick threw it on the roof? Or better yet maybe the producers stole it to have it framed and added to the wall of memories. Isn't there a frame of the infamous toothbrush on the wall in there?

Well, it certainly is NOT in my closet if that's what you're thinking. No, sir, not in there. *hums*

Actually, and I don't know if your question is serious or not, Tsy, but I saw Jen holding the uni yesterday or the day before.

Jenbot doesn't suck. Yay!
(Don't dis my Jenbot love! I haven't had anybody to root for since Nakomis. That thing with Kaysar was strictly sexual.)

Is it me, or does Jen often sound like she has tonsil/adenoidal issues?? She's got the PHLEGM!!

I noticed this too. Is it related to her ear infection?

I don't think so...I've noticed since LOOOOOONNNGGG before Slop-Dump-A-Rama.

I think that her game play has left a lot to be desired. She had an opportunity when the house became violently anti-DICK! to worm her way back with certain people in the LNC5. Instead, she hung around with DICK!, Dani and Zach, thus associating herself with the pariah that is DICK!

But why would she want to worm her way into an alliance of five, when she'd be the first one they'd all turn on? That's like no alliance at all. Not one of LNC5 would pick her as their number one alliance-mate - but Dani and Zach? They just might.

At this point I think she's smart to strengthen her relationships with individuals and forget about getting into the middle of that alliance - she'd just be the bottom person on the LNC totem pole, and that's not a good position at all.

At this point individuals is a much better strategy. It will most likely help her if/when she hits final 2. Also it puts her in the position of not being in an alliance so not such a threat, but liked/tolerated by most so not one to target.

After some mishaps at the start of the game she's playing hard. go Jen go!!

I may have stated it poorly, but what you wrote is what I meant. I don't think that she could go to the five as a group and ask to be a part of their alliance. However, if she were to try to strengthen her relationship with a couple of members, (Jameka and Jess come to mind) she may prove a valuable asset to them when the five start to cannibalize each other.

I think that Zach has a similar opportunity, also.

Why do the people in the house hate Jen so much?
They are all horrible people or BB would not have chosen them.

Sadly, I think most of these people are 'normal'.

Take a bunch of normal people and lock them down. Add just a few people with faulty compasses and watch the normals change their behavior. Some will become completely introverted and withdraw from the group and a few will fight for what they know is right, but most will adapt to what they see as the group norm. In a game like BB, the withdraw and 'fight for right' impulses are further stunted because of fear of getting voted out if one doesn't interact and 'get along'.

That's what started my dislike for her. However, when faced with the other houseguests and her ability to ignore Dick's ranting at her I'm starting to liking her and hoping for a win. A long shot win right now but I'm more on her side than anyone else's. I don't hear her saying nasty comments about others in the house even though they can't wait to trash her.

Yeah, and ED's silly name-dropping aside, Jen comes off to me as far and away the most fame-whorish of the fame whores. I can still see most of the others as "normal," albeit, totally unlikable, people. Jen is a characterbot.

Still, I like her better than most of them, primarily because I hate the way those nasty people treat her and I love the way she is able to handle it.

There is that and......her connection to he who shall not be named.

I think her dumbest move was this past week. Dani was more than willing to work with her and has proven to be a loyal alliance. (look at her and Zach) Jen had to talk smack about her with the LNC and pretty much ignore her. DUMB MOVE. Zach hung with the LNC but wouldn't participate in any Dani bashing. He actually defended her against said bashing. Now, he did partake in a little Dick bashing but I think (although I like Dick) that it would be hard not to. It didn't make Zach look any worse than he already did. Even the LNC lost respect for Jen though. They have since commented on her floating to the person in power and sucking something of theirs.
wickedtong
So, her social game is terrible and she is shallow.

I don't know, she is not a blatant racist, homophobe, and does not slag people based on gender. Her put downs are slight and she generally stays away from the mess in the house this summer that to me is some sort of escalated character assassination. I sometimes think that she puts people down as a way to mirror human behavior as she is such a Jenbot.

She is the least hypocritical, least mean and dislikes Dani. I am on board with her, which is actually a kiss of death in the game. Want to know who goes each week? Ask me who I am voting for.

If she could get Jess and Eric on board, I think they would want her as Dick and Dickless have been touting Zach as their third. That might get her through the week at least, but I don't think she can get the numbers without Eric strong arming.

ff174
I don't think that Jen will get Jess and Eric on board. Eric will get Jess and Jen on board. If the plan is to take down Jameka and put Amber against Jen, I think that America will vote for Eric to get Amber evicted - Jen stays.
wickedtong
Thanks ff. I think my math is off.

If Jam/Amb comes down, they are one vote for the other.

All other votes would be dependent on Eric's muscle, though? It will be all or nothing, I think. I cannot see Jess and Eric voting for Jen unless ED assents. If he does not, ED and Zach tie it up and Dani breaks it.

I've probably lost count, but I don't think we can have a tie this week. There should be five people voting, right?

i think the same mob dynamic that exists in the house is at work about her about Jen. They're all vain, self-involved people - period. Given that she's a model and makes a living with her face/body, she at least had an explanation for her obsession with her product - herself. The models & actors I call friends often suffer from distorted sense of looks/self.

I'm among those who admire Jen's poise under the Dick assault. None of her roomies came to her defense. Not a whinnnyyyyyy brat, not a christian, not a weasel, not a pervy monster and not a mouse. I can even remember Eric piling it on (as he still does) and Jess sitting quietly through a particularly ugly rant and just as quietly leaving Jen to handle things on her own. From that day, I've wanted Jen to make it to the end, along with Jess. Dani's a great player and I liked her at first but that sense of entitlement she has hangs about her like a bad odor. You can tell by the scrunch of her nose she's smelling her own bad vibe. From the start I thought this thing with her boyfriend would be her undoing in terms of America's take on her. Finding out she took the boyfriend from his fiancee in the first place fits right into her behavior on the show. This game might as well be this girl's life. She plays every one around her - period! Her dad is no exception and her one greatest move in the game was turning his presence into an asset. The others in the twist weren't able to pull that off.

Jen must be some kind of sage bot who was channelling Daniele's boyfriend when she called Daniele on doing him dirty like she did. Mind you, in understand why she did it - she and Nick had strong mojo together. But everything has a cost and choosing Nick might end up having a $500k pricetag.

What is up with Jen wanting to DOR, if she is evicted. She must really be hurt and/or pissed at Dani for putting her up. I was wondering why she was running around with the rule book earlier today. Thats a Dani move if she does. Things don't go her way and she bails. I really don't think Jen would do that though.
Magpie
I'm wondering if she thinks that if she says that enough, BB will intervene and save her ass, like they did with Eric.
uaintjak
I hope she does DOR, just because it would be something different. I'm pretty much done watching the show, so if she shook them all up that would be sweet.

uaintjak, I was just talking in General House Analysis about how I hate the way she is being treated at the moment. I hope she does too. No amount of money is worth living in a house with this group of losers.
wickedtong
The pack mentality is out of control. I have to say, she has been dignified and as respectful as can be expected under the circumstances. She has been silenced by the constant attacks, I think, and has a much thicker armor that I mistook for arrogance. She cried twice that I know of, and each time it seems to be when her feelings are hurt. Fuck you Dick and fuck you little complicit cowardly assholes for not saying or doing anything to stop it (and in fact, exacerbating it).

I think it is hitting her how this meanness is predominantly at her, that everyone feels it and that no one has expressed it to her but ED.

If she is certain about going, she should voluntarily exit and take another player with her (if they have to take an evictee too).
cubkip
I was starting to like her too, dispite the CT connection. That is until last week. After pledging her loyalty to Dani, Jess won hoh. Suddenly, Jen had nothing to do with Dani and smacktalked behind her back. Zach told her most of it to save his own ass. (can't blame him) I don't want to be cruel but it looks like she is getting what she asked for.

I hate to admit it, but I am feeling a little bad for her though. Unless this is a trick to make people think that she is no longer a threat. Then the pity is gone but I will respect her for the stategy.

edited to say that as a smoker, I no longer feel any amount of pity for her at all. If it were me and she did that to my cigs, my reaction would make you all think of Dick as a teddy bear.
gwendy
Even her threats to DOR are boring to me. I'm sorry. I don't have much of an opinion of her otherwise, but her droning monotone voice always has me heading to another feed. Other hammies have seriously threatened to DOR in the past and BB always sucks 'em back in. The whole thing has been done to death.
RCToros
I really hated Jenbot in the beginning but now she's the only hammy I find entertaining. Her DRs are priceless. Little did I know that her crazy self-absorption and vanity would be the least offensive thing about the HGs this season. I would love if she would DOR, mainly because I'm picturing Dusty going crazy in sequester. A king with no subjects. Hah! He has no one to lord over and hopefully her DOR will give him another week of silence.

Also, I really hated Janelle in the beginning of her season, for the same reasons I hated Jen. How the worm turns...

Roxy61
cubkip I wanted to comment on something you said in the LF thread. I too am a smoker but I am still cheering Jen's destruction of DICK!'s cigarettes. After all of the horrific things he has said to her, the constant blatant sexual-related slander and humiliation, he deserves it. She's trying to express her rage at him in the only way she thinks she can. I think doing something like this is her last "Fuck you" before she jumps ship. And I think she will, too. Maybe this is her way of doing it - getting kicked out for destroying his property.
ff174
I really don't know how I feel about upcoming Cigarettegate.

On the one hand, I think that DICK! is a monumental douchebag. I think that if she would have done it when he was berating her during the first 3 weeks, I would have felt better about it. Back then, it would have been more of a "you fuck with me, I'll fuck with you" type of thing.

Why is she choosing now to destroy his cigarettes? From what I have read in the recaps, he has been a little shitty to her, but not enough to deserve that response. Plus, it seems that Eric, Jameka and Zach are being equally nasty to her.

It just doesn't sit well with me, and I don't know why. And that frightens me because I would love to see DICK! get his due.
gwendy
I'm perfectly fine with her destroying Dick's cigs. Hasn't she done it before when he messed with her stuff? I would enjoy it more if she had the skills to lash out at him verbally, though. As it is, he'll go off about it but big whoop. It'll become his same repetitive spiel for the next several days.

Oh Roxy, I'm a smoker also and I agree with you. Seems to me that after ALL the shit she has taken from Dick, he's lucky that the only thing she has destroyed are his precious ciggies.

I'm thinking she has realized that Dirty Donatos just used her for her vote and that they (or at least Dani) planned the backdoor all along. She's pissed and acting out. I'm sure she knows she doesn't have the votes to stay and is going out with a bang.
fotobrat
Jen is NOT going out with a bang .. this whole routine is a wussy wimper. She can't win so she's gonna take her ball and go home except she's not leaving. She acts like a spoiled toddler. Sneaky, passive aggressive and when there are no other options it's temper tantrum time. I swear Jen is what happens when a generation is raised without spanking. She is the ultimate Gen Y, self centered, needing constant positive feedback, fully grown child.
uaintjak
Aren't they all children? I mean...can anyone honestly point at one houseguest and say "You know, this person is a true paragon!"

It's weird. I honestly don't care what Jen did. I mean, Dick had it coming, so it's not like I can be all offended or anything.
fotobrat
There's childish behavior then there's Jen. Even after all the drama she's failing to notice all conversation stops when she appears and she's forcing herself on people. That laugh she has when she can't figure out what to say is creepy. I'm starting to wonder if she has Asperger's. She just doesn't understand social norms and expected responses. Her complete lack of empathy, or ability to do the "feeling bad thing", is a little frightening.
gerbellissimo
I also feel like whatever Jen does is not nearly enough to hold a candle to the vileness that is Dick. He deserves whatever Jen can do to him and more...much more.

It must be extremely difficult for this young woman to be in a house with people who condone verbal abuse. Furthermore, they not only condone the verbal abuse, some of them join in.

I'm just coming out of lurking to say how much I love Jen. I haven't watched the show since last Thursday, and I don't suspect I will for the rest of the season because I think Dick's going to make it to final two, and as long as he's there I'm not watching. I don't watch the feeds, I don't even read the recaps anymore. I just know what people tell me, and I read the General Analysis thread and the Jen thread to see if anything interesting is going on. Because, truly, that's all I can take of this show at this point. But, after hearing about Jen's "nutso" behavior, it just brought a smile to my face. Good for Jen for rebelling after all the shit she has put up with in this house, and especially the shit she's put up with from Dick. She knows she's going this week, go out with a bang. There is absolutely nothing, nothing at all that makes me think she should be obeying the rules at this point. The pack mentality, the verbal abuse. The, to me, obvious, screwing with the voting by the producers to save their vile little golden child, Dick.

I love Jen to death and I love what she's doing, and that she's giving a big old F you to the whole process. Not only does Dick deserve it, but so do the producers.

I totally agree. Of course, the producers will just spin the drama and watch their ratings edge up again. The fact that they benefit from the horrible behavior in the house makes me just a tad crazed.

I like Jen but I think what she did was really passive aggressive and lame. She should have walked out in the BY and tossed them in the pool right in front of him. Instead of hiding in the supply room and cackling like a maniac. She is not upset at anything DICK has said to her. She is pissed she is on the block. I think she realized she was going home this time and showed her ass like a child. I was really disapointed t osee her act like that.
Dick reacted in his usual vile way because he is a rude, crude, jerkoff, granted he did better than what I expected. I think it did prove to me he is not violent. Jen smacked at him and tried to grab his cigarette(which in turn burned her)and he sat there telling her not to touch him to get away.
It is also no telling who told Jen she could tear up his smokes. Maybe an intern or something.
I like Jen better when she is in Jenbot form.....not stooping to Dicks level. Look how it backfired on her. Two wrongs never make a right. Even the glee you feel for a few minutes goes away and you still feel like shit.
loribug
I have been astonished at the verbal abuse heaped upon Jen. In the real world, you can sue someone's ass off for making a workplace that uncomfortable. Don't really like Jen, but she has done an amazing job of shrugging off the vitriol. Wonder if she can sue Dick's ass off after the show? Hmm.

QUOTE

They may have been telling her the truth there. She wasn't penalized for destroying them as far as I can tell. The show replaced them, but didn't punish Jen for it. I thought it was odd that she claimed over and over that she asked if she could destroy cigarettes before she ever even got into the house. Who plans on doing something like that before they even meet the smoker in question? After meeting Dick, sure, you'd want to destroy his personal property. But before?

QUOTE

I doubt she could even sue him for the drink incident, much less for being a childish, verbally abusive asshole. I'm pretty sure that's standard issue for reality show contestants.
ANGIGRL65
I think she did it because she was hoping it would set Dick off. She was maybe thinking that if she could get him mad enough he would do something to get himself thrown out and at least he would be gone before her. I don't agree with the way the show is handling the eating issue. She should get another kind of penalty for it besides the penalty nom.
