Does it really matter who is HOH? I want Dick and/or Danielle up no matter what. Eric is our puppet and he does what we decide. If he can't do it, then too bad for Eric. He gets paid when he does what he's told.
Seriously, though, I guess I'd modify my vote based on who I thought was going to win HOH. In this case, the safest choice is probably to stick with Kail or Zach if we don't want Eric to get outed.

Too easy. Zach. He's the only one who would fall for such a ploy. He only has to get Dick, Daniele, probably Zach and Jen to vote out Kail. I think Zach would see this as Eric wants to be his friend in the house.

I'm debating...
Amber - because he's in the dog house with her but she constantly seeks affirmation
Zach - because he needs friends (but I fear he will see right through this and it may backfire)
Dustin - he's already been campaigning, but seems to take well to compliments
My gut is telling me Amber, but UGH! I so would not ot do that for a dollar! ($10k, maybe! hehe)
ETA: Just after posting this, I started watching the feeds and find Amber trying to convince Dustin to vote Eric out. Eric needs to somehow remedy this whole abortiongate situation, which he does not yet know exists. GAH!

10 votes for Zach! The other choices, other than DICK!, may very well vote for Eric anyway. Zach is most likely to fall for it (though Amber might as well), and the last I heard, he's a vote against Eric. He needs to be convinced to change that.

I immediately thought Amber based on the following logic. Eric should understand that since we chose Jessica for him to promise the final two, he can infer that he is liked by a majority. We gave him something easy. Therefore we can also tell him who is the weakest in his alliance and probably the easiest for Dick to turn.
Zach also makes sense because we know he's a vote against Eric, but I don't think Zach will be turned. He's desperately looking for a friend and an alliance.

Since Eric has been quoted as saying he was going to kiss up to Dick this week, America must have decided that they made it too easy for him on Sunday when they let him promist Jess to take her to the final 2. Looks like those who voted for Dick have a winner. Wonder if Eric has to attempt the task or can he pass if he fears for his life.

I did Anti-semetic Ambore b/c as much as it makes me gag, she and Zach Attack were the only two I thought might fall for it, and I think Zach is pretty well in with those Demon Donatos.
I think Eric's going this week and I'm actually going to miss this AP thing. If BB were thinking on their toes (so... no chance), they'd evict Eric out of the game, but not out of the house and let him run amok doing AP tasks for the next six weeks... torturing the other hammies. Makes me smile when I think about this.

I don't think this has been asked, but I was wondering...if Eric makes it to squester (and I hope he does, cause, Sweet Chicken, I want a vote in this whole damn thing!) do the AP tasks follow him to the squesters house? Can we make him run amok there too? Cause I would like that too! We have nothing but silly AP tasks where we get Eric to try to braid Dick's nappy hair or fill someone's shoes with yogurt or something. That would be fun.

I voted for Dick because at this point Eric needs all the help he can get. Eric has been a dufus and way too opinionated at times which is partly why he had a big bullseye on his chest. Things wouldn't have been so hard for him if he didn't have to do these AP tasks. I figure giving him one week of easy isn't too much so 10 votes for ED.

I didn't even vote. I feel that after the whole Nick fiasco Eric will lay low. He doesn't have to do this task so he won't push hard for a Dustin or AmBore nom. He talks shit about them but I don't see him taking the chance of losing what trust he has gained back from Jess.

I'm not an Eric fan - I admit that - but if he has an opportunity to earn extra money while gaining information inferred from Americ'a votes I don't see why he isn't penalized for not making some kind of effort to complete the tasks. Last night's comment about getting Dustin out to Jess was just totally lame and previously he hasn't done much better when it hasn't suited his purposes. I think if CBS helped swing the votes back to save him Kail has a very legitimate gripe (and I'm certainly no fan of hers). Okay, rant is over. I just think he is just a weasle and only outscored on that by Dustin whom I detest even more. (Gee, the rant wasn't quite over, I guess).

If votes were swayed by CBS to keep Eric then I'm assuming votes have been swayed by CBS for years; afterall CBS is looking out for their ratings. I don't think Kail really has a leg to stand on, the hammies vote for who they want in the end no matter what is said in the diary room. For years we've made comments about how contests "are made" for certain players. I think reality shows are as real as we're going to see them. They never will be true reality because they are entertainment programming made to get good ratings.
As for penalizing Eric for tasks where he doesn't make a "real" effort who can truly say what a "real" effort is. Eric had little choice going into the game. Had he said no I don't want to be AP he wouldn't have been cast (otherwise he'd know there was someone else in the house who knew the twist). Some of the tasks have been easy, but others have gone against his alliance lines. Sure if CBS wanted AP ousted within the first month they could have made him "fight" the points a little harder but that wouldn't happen, CBS loves their twists...the lamer the better. I'm more annoyed that he loses the task if someone gets taken off the mac from POV. I'd like to think Eric has a case, but I'm sure CBS had him sign a mother-fucker of a contract.

If I had the choice between maybe earning 1/5 of a chance of $10,000 or to stay in the running for $500K, I'll stay in the running for $500K.
The simple fact is, Jessica is not going to put up Dustin this week. She likely will kick him out down the road, but not this week. If Eric pushes Dustin hard to her, she still isn't going to put up Dustin and she will likely go back to thinking that Eric is hinky and get push him out the door soon, rather than taking him to F2.

I don't think the whole America's Player thing is working. I think I said this on the back up board. I was late to the season so maybe I don't understand the full concept. I was under the impression from the promos that America is playing through Eric. The way it is working is America is just screwing up Eric's own game. I think he will go for the $500K because he thinks he has America behind him. I think a lot of people find him to be an annoying guy with "crazy eyes" and enjoy making him squirm. If I were him I would be going for the prize money. I voted for Dustin because if I were in that house I would want him out now, messing with Eric is a bonus.

Of course you're right, it's in Eric's best interest not to follow all of America's directives - if he has a choice. But in my opinion, he shouldn't have that choice. If America is going to vote on something, then he should do it - end of story.
Would it be difficult to weave America's directives into a strategy that worked? Yeah! He'd have to be really really smart and very slick to pull it off. Would it be fair to Eric? Yes! He was hired for this role. He was not hired as a regular hamster. He got offered a job and he accepted it.
I totally get why Eric doesn't want to carry out all the tasks he's assigned - I just think it would make for a better twist and a better show, if it was mandatory for him to do what we've decided. As it stands now America gets a vote in every eviction and we can whisper in our hamster's ear and ask him to do some things, but he usually balks and tells us he knows better. I would like the show better if he was truly acting as "Our Player" all the time, and got his strategy cues from us, and carried out our wishes no matter what.
Bottom line, he's not a normal hamster, he's America's Hamster, and he sort of sucks at it.
