I think her birthday is in August. If she lasts that long, she will turn 21 while she's in the house.

IMHO The "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful" defense is self-eliminating. People truly beautiful enough to inspire jealousy are rarely aware that they are.

I don't know if Daniele said it too, but Jessica DEFINITELY threw out the "Girls usually hate me because I'm so pretty" line. It was in that TV Guide piece. I haven't actually heard Daniele say it.

So far, she's my early fave. First, I have sympathy for her for having to deal with having Dick as a father. And then, I think her pre-BB photos are kind of goofy and adorable.

Danielle only said that she usually gets along better with men because women can be catty. I can't blame her for saying that because most of the girls in this house are going to be catty and bitchy. I'm sure she's met women like this before and just would rather not deal with it.

I don't talk to my dad either but I wouldn't blubber if he showed-up (unless he was in that disgusting costume from Dick's Myspace). I'll give her a break because having a parent in the house would suck for anyone. I really don't understand how the drinking thing is gonna work though. Everyone must be thinking about it - you know some reporter is gonna have to ask law enforcement why she's allowed to drink in the house. Did her Father give her permission? That actually works in Texas but I'm pretty sure she deserves a ticket for that toast under California law. (I used to be a bartender here in Texas)

I think she's adorable but I am concerned about how thin she is. She looks like she's starving and doesn't look healthy at all.

I have sympathy for her for having to deal with Dick in this situation (even though they both signed up for it), and I hope that they can come to some sort of resolution in their relationship even if I end up hating them both.

Danielle is actually growing on me. I was prepared to hate her but I actually am liking her better than some of the other houseguests (Jessica? I'm scowling at you). I am also on her side with the whole Dick situation. Hopefully they will be able to live in the same house without killing each other!

I'm down with Daniele--I just want to see her show Dick the door. I'd cry if my deadbeat dad showed up too, she's probably crying out of embarrassment knowing we've seen him in the tampon by now.

Actually, I cannot even imagine the emotional damage that she must be experiencing right now. I feel sorry for her. I do think she's much stronger than she lets on, however. I have a feeling she was smart enough to figure out that they might do this. How could she NOT know that Dick was such a fan of BB? How could she NOT suspect it was possible? I hope she can turn it all to her advantage.

I think she was suspicious the whole time. The way she sat there so silently while everyone else was throwing out enemies suggestions was pretty telling.

I don't remember where I read it (?) but in the "good times" they'd tried to BB a couple seasons ago or one of them did, so I get that she wasn't all that surprised (or him) at the other one here.

How is she explaining her abstinence from booze when it comes out? I haven't been on when people are trying to get others to loosen up.

I thought it was very telling when DICK! told her, "It looks like you've lost a lot of weight. In your face." You could see the look of concern on his face. Her thinness is spooky and I'm downright concerned. I almost feel bad to joke about it... I said almost. Eat a sandwich!!!!!! Hell, just eat the bread!!!! Or a packet of ketchup. Something.

I feel for her situation in one way that their reunion is televised. On the other hand alot of people (me included) were raised by grandparents. Sometimes it takes people later in life to realize where they have screwed up or they really have no business trying to raise kids to begin with. She said she can't remember why she quit talking to her Dad so he must not have done anything really bad. I believe she is upset about him not being there when she was a child. I just hope she and Dick can get it together because life is too short to hold hate in your heart. Once somebody is gone thats it there is no second chance.

I lost my mom in Jan. and we had lots of unfinished business, their story has just made me think about alot of things that were parallel to my life with my parents.

I don't think anyone notices, since she rarely consumes anything. I think it's a stupid for her to lie about it. This makes her look more immature than her age would.

After listening to Evel Dick talk about Danielle's relationship with other family members I went looking for other info about her. Her brother claims he has only spoken to her once in eight months and then she asked to borrow something and she got mad at him when he would not do it. He also said he was hurt he was not mentioned in her "my only family is grandma & dog" speech.

I still feel for her because it seems she is bottling up all her emotions and instead of facing her problems or confrontations she runs or avoids the person all together. I wonder if we will see this effect her gameplay ?

I am shocked that Daniele, who weighs 85 pounds soaking wet and seems to have about as much energy as a mentally-challenged slug, is on track to being the next James or Janelle with the vetoes. I mean, WTF is that about?

Maybe today's VETO challenge was to escape a cage - that skinny little thing could walk straight through jail bars.

What I got was that Daniele likes to borrow things like money and not pay it back so the family has quit giving her money because lending it just leads to her thinking she was owed the money and shouldn't have to pay it back. Life is hard, some people don't have nearly as much as she does, I'm not feeling any empathy for her.

I think she is the problem with her family too. I started to defend her size till all the recaps says she does not eat, so it is her probably for the show.

I loved her hiding the veto in the slop, no one looked there. Can't wait to see how she won this POV.

Wow, that was really difficult to watch. Daniele is so young, painfully young. I lost my much beloved dad earlier this year and I just want to tell her to let go of any ill feelings about the past and embrace her father's obvious love for her, because that will always be a constant in her life.

Wow....my Dick! love grows! (hee!) And my Daniele empathy has returned.

My thing with Daniele though, is that just watching the way Dick reacts to Jen, seeing the way he wouldn't let Jameka get a word in when he was talking to her...I can see what he's probably like to deal with as a daughter at times. I find him entertaining because I don't have to deal with him. But it's not at all hard to imagine why he has a strained relationship with Dani. And I do think Daniele is the type of person that once you hurt her once, she's gonna shut down and make sure you can't do it again. So I get her coldness and her need to not open up to him. Especially on camera.

And I won't lie, I bring my own baggage and I have major issues with my father, and it's not that he doesn't love me or is abusive, and I'm sure if we were put on camera the world would be like, "What a bitch! He's obviously trying!" It's just that I have about 28 years of him trying and letting me down.
