Britney should be able to beat Matt, Ragan and obviously Brendon. She should keep them and take her chances however I would love to see Matt then Ragan go this coming Thursday.

I'm not so sure, I think she could win with Matt against her in F2, or is she took Enzo or Ragan, all the others would win against her because of who would be in the jury. she will never take the top prize if she's up there with either Hayden or Lane. She's nuts to take either of them (which she seems to have in mind) unless all she wants is second place.

I agree that she'd have a chance against Ragan or Brendon for sure. She'd have less of a chance against Enzo or Matt. As for Hayden and Lane she would definately lose. The problem is she doesn't know about the brigade alliance. I'm not sure exactly how she's thought this through...but, neither Lane, Hayden, or Enzo have really won competitions so she might think her chances are stronger against them based on gameplay. If she could just figure out the brigade....

 

She did handle the handcuff and baths all night with Brendon better then I would have.

Both her and Brendon did well during the handcuffing. I would have lost it having to get up every hour for someone else's punishment. Last night's behaviour has made me raise Brit's (and Brendon's) status.

I hope that Ragan and Matt have the opportunity, or take the opportunity, to speak with Britany and sway her. If she could just open her eyes and ears a little more to what is going on around her she might just put it together. The only way she'll make it anywhere near the finals is if she puts Enzo or Hayden up as a replacement.

Enzo is already on the mac, so her only choices of available replacements for Brendon are Ragan, Matt, Hayden, or Lane. She's not putting Lane up, and probably not Ragan. So it's between Hayden and Lane I would think, as replacements. If she gets wind of Hayden's prizes from Lane or Hayden, Hayden will go up. Otherwise I'm guessing it'll be Matt unless he can get in her ear.

 

I actually feel kinda sorry for Brit right now -- they all want her out next except for Ragan, so she's in a tough spot choosing the new nom.

 

All that said I was very impressed with her locked to Brendon for "24" hours. She conducted herself much better than I expected, really seemed to do some bonding with him, and their late night convo about Matt seemed sincere. I haven't heard her trash him yet to anyone (tho she's mostly been napping and is being left alone). I'll be interested to hear what she says to Lane and others about their handcuffing.

Britney has been a GREAT sport about being chained to Brendon. At this point she annoys me least of everyone in the house. So I pull for her.

It seemed Enzo, Lane, and Hayden are on board with taking her to the F4 and then it's up to her to make it the rest of the way. She could definitley beat any of them in a knowledge challenge, and I'm not unconvinced she could be them in the right sort of endurance challenge as well so she'd be in a pretty good spot.

I think her problem is winning a Final 2 vote. I just don't see where she'd get enough votes to win over anyone except Brendon.

Well, Britney has a few options. She can become the replacement for Matt in the Brigade. She can hope that her bond with Lane will help her out (even though, probably it would only end with her carrying him into the final and losing to him.) She'd likely be promised fourth place at best, but to be fair, she has won four times as many competitions as Hayden, Enzo, and Lane combined, and would have to gamble on winning her way into the end to face opponents that really have few if any jury enemies.

 

Option B is to team up with Matt, Brendon, and Ragan to take down the Brigade. This requires that a) Matt spills the beans and b) Britney is willing to turn on her beloved Lane. The problem with this plan is that it probably entails Brit having to take Brendon to the end, because I suspect Matt and Ragan would have an unbreakable final two pact (because Ragan lurves him some Matt, and Matt... is out of other options.)

 

Option C is to let Matt go but not join the brigade. Ragan would likely gravitate towards her out of necessity, and the two of them, especially if they could pull in Brendon, could be competitive in challenges against the unimpressive Enzo and Lane. Problem being here is that, should Enzo or Hayden win HOH next, they would absolutely want her out as the biggest threat and the link betwen Brendon and Ragan.

Bratney's relationship with Lane is the precise reason that Enzo and Haydumb will NOT take her to the F4. There's too much of a chance that BDLane will change his mind and show her some mercy. They can't chance that.

 

Bratney should see that she could never win against Haydumb and probably not against Enzo either. Even if she knows nothing of the Brogade, she knows that Enzo and Rachel are pals and that Brenden will do whatever Rachel says. Add Haydumb to the mix, and she'd lose. Haydumb has also worked hard to be great pals with everyone on the jury so far. Add Enzo to the mix, and she has zero chance of winning against Haydumb.

 

Her very best chance is to get to the end with someone that the jury hates. So far, that would be Matt.

 

I'm always amazed at this point of the game, though. Lots of players are so busy concentrating on making the F4 that they don't bother to consider what happens if they get to the F2. Or they only think about getting to the F2 with the person of their choice. That's just stupid. Unfortunately, for all her smartie pants remarks, Bratney is probably just as dumb as so many others in the past.

I'm not falling for this. Lane, Hayden, Enzo and Brendon will have her back to putting up Matt in time for the POV ceremony tomorrow. Will make for interesting TV on Thursday though.

What I would love to see, is Brit's face when she watches the show and has gone on about adoring Enzo, is when she sees how Enzo talks about her and when he calls her a c**t. I think she's going to have a huge wake up call about her buddies Lame, Haydumb and Enzhole.

That's part of DR's job, to point things out, push this way or that, put ideas into their silly heads, but nobody makes them actually do anything. It's up to Britney to take it all in, take in the actions of the Hammies and to put it all together.
