Also love the pics and clips people post!! Just watched one that caused me to go over to YouTube where I watched a clip of Ollie and April from last nights sex session - narrated by Donald Duck! I was in tears. Thanks again - all!!!!

OK you and FF and ZGeist and Tooletta and KK and everyone else are so much funnier than I am. This was a classic. I will just retire from recapping, I will never get the Hammie Award for most comedic recapper.

Where did you find that clip? And I am amazed anyone had time to narrate it went so fast. Everyone is just great on this site and I only hope I can get better for BB11, recapping is fun but hard as hell. You all do a great job!

Some of us have certain styles. Being a chronicler of what goes on is just as important as making a snide comment or two.

 

Plus, whilst I bloviate, I might miss an important thing or two.

 

You should continue.

 

The snark will probably come naturally, at some time.

 

I have found that one of the easiest things to do is follow around the biggest idiot (Jessie), the biggest bitch (Libra) or the most annoying (Peepaw). Just write down what they say. Their words alone can be funny ... without any further commentary.

Thanks FF, I really appreciate that. I feel like I miss alot of stuff, I can't hear almost all of the whispering, last night with Manchelle and Jesse for an hour almost made me play on the freeway.

 

So sad though my funniest comments never make my posts because I get so flustered trying to recap. I am trying though and I will not give up, but KK (God love Her) blows me out of the water as a first time recapper. She is hysterical.

Most of us that you complimented in your post have been recapping for a few years now-the more you do it, the easier it gets. Even the wonderful KK has been lurking a long time.

 

It also gets easier later in the season when there are fewer hammies.

 

Also-a tip for whispering-get a set of headphones! That made all the difference for me.

Double ditto what ff said, TT2, and single ditto what Bee said > About you and recapping in general, that is. It would be poor form to ditto her calling me wonderful. I will, however, preen a bit and bask in the praise. Remember that I've been reading HT since the beginning, but only registered to start posting in the All-Star season, so I've read a lot of recaps from some really talented writers to emulate. Plus I'm just throwed off, which helps. And yes, occasionally hysterical, though probably not in the way you meant...which I appreciate you saying, by the way. (How's that for convoluted sentence structure?)

 

 

I have to say I really appreciate those who are able to provide a log, if you will, of the activities and conversations. Very useful in following the goings-on in the house. I may not post a quote from those recaps in this thread, but that doesn't make them any less appreciated.

 

Bee, ff, tooletta, Magpie, nixiechick, RCToros, Sheenafury my fellow Texan Rybes all have had some great posts over the last 24 hours. I know there are others, too, that I haven't mentioned here, but you're all wonderfully entertaining and are making my first time with the feeds really a barrel of laughs. And monkeys.

Ok seriously he is in a major freak, and I dont know who said it but they were right, he looks about 12 years old. He is shrinking and going back to the little boy that was beaten on when he was in JH.

 

Right? He's getting younger before our eyes! Love the beat up in JH, cuz you know it's true.

While I'm thinking of it, I want to throw some love to HTers in general, for being so considerate to each other this season. I can't tell you how nice it is to come to the board and not find any board wars brewing; it's great to be able to just enjoy (OK, tolerate) the season without having to play whack-a-mole in the threads. You all rock!

 

Oh, and to our recappers: Thanks for the mostly restrained use of nicknames in the recaps. I appreciate y'all remembering that not all of our readers know what the hell is being recapped when the nicks get out of control. You rock too!
