Live Feed Recaps, Week 8 - HOH: Turner

7:10 PM HT

Alyssa and Brittany talking in the bedroom. Brittany seems to be still trying to play the fence with Alyssa and pretending that she and Michael are still fine with Kyle and Alyssa.

Brittany tells Alyssa that Taylor is pissed that Joseph is gone. 

In the kitchen, chatter about "meeting" Tiffany. Kyle asks pertinent questions but CR is sure he's seething that the insiders got to mingle (so to speak) with Tiffany during veto and the grubby outsiders did not.

Michael now in the bedroom with Brittany and Taylor, and Michael is discussing their decision to vote out Jasmine. Michael mentions Jasmine had all these alliances that he wasn't a part of and was lying about it, which leads Alyssa to prissily point out that that's so weird, because Joseph was acting like he wanted her on the block so they could get her out, and Joseph suggested he was working with other people whose backs he had to protect, and that made Alyssa feel so strange, because is there something going on that she doesn't know about? She's toying with Michael/Brittany here, and surely Michael is going to see through this.

Alyssa says she's an island (?) in the game now, a tarnished beauty all alone. She continues to throw Joseph under the bus.

"I trusted him, but clearly there's something bigger going on," Alyssa says, slyly alluding to what she can't say. Oops, she mentioned "sides" of the house and then backtracked and said, "Not that there are sides to the house." 

Jasmine chatter now. Alyssa thinks Jasmine being gone is good for her game. 

Now Kyle walks in.

7:30 PM HT

Kyle quickly departs the bedroom and leaves Brittany, Michael, and Alyssa to continue on their own.

Alyssa says she couldn't trust Joseph but she knows she can trust them (Michael/Brittany) and there's a lot of talking between the lines in this conversation. She listened to Joseph and let him plead his case but "something was not adding up."

"Eight freaking people, guys!" gloats Alyssa. She can't believe she made it this far, carried on the back of her NeanderTAL, when she thought she would go pre-jury.

All four feeds now switch to the kitchen. Taylor, Monte, Turner, and Terrance. Monte and Turner are playing Chinese checkers. 

Well, this has turned boring quickly.

Back to the bedroom where Taylor has now joined Alyssa, Michael, and Brittany.

Alyssa looks at Taylor with faux concern and asks her if it's hard that Joseph is gone and she didn't get to say goodbye. "That's the hardest part," Taylor admits, not getting a chance to say a heartfelt goodbye to her faux showmance. "He left happy!" chirps Alyssa and then prattles on about how Joseph was saying stuff that "wasn't adding up" (that phrase again) and it wasn't best for her game to keep him. Babble, babble, babble. She mentions the difficult times the outsiders had but Joseph and others made it bearable.

Now discussion about how well they think they would have done as an outsider. "Do you know who you're talking to?" laughs Taylor, and Alyssa takes that opportunity to smugly reveal to Taylor that Joseph said if he could pick who had to suffer outside, he would have picked Indy, Jasmine, and TAYLOR to see how they would handle it.

Back to Monte and Turner still playing Chinese Checkers. Whoever wins this will surely forecast who will win the season, an insider or outsider.

Just after the show aired here in Los Angeles,  Turner and Monte were in the Living Room - BAM   We'll Be Right Back.

Can Concur with CycleRob that Turner is wearing the key.   He's on the Chairs of Doom in the Living Room.  Camera 1 is focused solely on him, although I can hear Monte, Terence, I think Brittany and another female (Taylor?).   They are figuring out the dates and times.   Turner says 29 days left (which means 29 Days until Survivor!!!  

Terence just walked off, and it looked like he had Fur Bracelets on him (?)

Turner, wearing a Cuban shirt that could be described as Pollack-esque, is off to the Diary Room.  Kyle, Allysa, and Monte are all on Screen Left Couches.     Kyle still in that blue gray T-shirt from all week.  Kyle does look a tad shell shocked.  They are rehashing the HOH challenge, and it sounds like that Arcade game with The Claw!!!!   (Insert Toy Story GIF *here*).

Brittany, in that rust two piece outfit, is on the other side, nodding her head like, "yeah".

Nothing really happening.

Meanwhile, Taylor in the Storeroom, picking ingredients, which include Prego Pasta, Diced Tomatoes, something in a baggie that was fluffy and white, lettuce, a can of "-ste" and Romaine lettuce, too.    

No sign of Michael yet.  Back in the Living Room just mindless chatter.  Kyle is wandering around the bathrooms, possibly just burning energy.  There's Michael, in a maroon T Shirt, on Screen Right couch with Brittney.   Lots of yawning.   Monte, looking REAL GOOD in a vertical striped tan, brown and black Polo, might fall asleep here.

10:37PM HT In the cars bedroom, Turner was chatting with Brittany. Not much interesting. But, as she left, he said he wasn't putting her up on the block. Brittany leaves and Michael enters. There was some whispering that I missed. But, then some fast whispering about how he appreciated Brittany and Michael befriending him early in the game. And, he adds that Michael would be totally safe this week with him.

Enter Monte, Monte automatically assumes he's safe. And, he's so glad their alliance is safe this week. No comment at all comes from Turner at this declaration.

Drive-by recap:

A couple of hours ago, Monte met with Kyle and Turner, The Pound sans Joseph, and they compared notes and got Monte to agree that Michael should be the target this week. Turner will likely nominate Brittany and Taylor so they can hopefully get Michael not to play veto so they can backdoor him, though since we're down to eight people, chances Michael plays is still relatively high.

Turner also sounds like he wants to pull Monte (for now) into the outsiders group while they target Michael/Brittany/Taylor, which they refer to as "a cluster."

While the hammies slumber, CR will give you a quick rundown of what happened last night, post-nomination ceremony:

As expected, Turner nominated Brittany/Taylor. He used as Vanessa's Reason that Joseph said he had a F3 with Brittany and Taylor. Of course, his real reason is that he just wants Michael backdoored. Michael and Turner had a quick cagey conversation with Turner apologizing for putting up "Michael's friends" but reassuring Michael that he and Michael were cool. Michael didn't buy this for a second and knows that Turner wants to try and backdoor him. Michael told Brittany soon after the nominations that they have to "play nice," but then later started pondering the possibility of going scorched earth on Kyle and exposing the proposed white alliance if veto "doesn't go our way."

Brittany did not take nominations well. She wept! She kvetched! She declared her innocence of all things. She bawled to Alyssa that she never, never talked evah, EVAH about her going on the block. She doesn't know why Pretty Joseph would throw her under Diane's bus, or Terrance's bus, or someone's bus, or any bus. How horrifying, how unfair, how downright unconscionable. How is she supposed to enjoy Zingbot now? (The hammies seem to think today will be Zingbot Day!)

Brittany turned into such a mess that Michael, apparently, started pondering taking Taylor off the block if he plays veto and wins. Which CR would love to see happen just for more Brittany betrayal meltdowns.

Taylor wasn't happy about noms either, and she also cried a little, but she overall was much calmer than Brittany, probably due to Taylor's vast experience with the block. At one point she mentioned that the outsiders stories were just a little too similar and coordinated. Monte told Taylor (or was it Michael?) privately at one point that he doesn't believe that Joseph said all those things the outsiders claim he did, and that he, Monte, thinks Kyle probably blew up The Leftovers, and the outsiders are just blaming it on Joseph. Bingo! Nonetheless, Monte is onboard with joining the outsiders, and he/Turner/Kyle reaffirmed some post-Pound alliance, which CR is sure Kyle, at least, will never honor. Monte still goes back to Michael/Taylor/Brittany occasionally and shares scraps of intel with them, such as how everyone knows about The Leftovers now, and so on. 

As hammies filed off to bed, the target was the same: Michael. At the moment, it's Michael/Brittany/Taylor against the rest of the house.

Veto players have been picked. Taylor, Britt, Turner - plus Monte, Michael, and Alyssa will also be playing, with Terrance hosting. Michael looks very nervous so at first I didn't think he'd been chosen. But then Kyle told Terrance to entertain him as his audience of one watching the comp.

4:10PM HT So, I have no idea what has been going on all day but Michael says he's pissed! And, Kyle and Turner should be careful who they mess with.

In the starburst bedroom, (talking to himself) Michael is fully planning on winning this veto. And, then, winning the next HOH. So, he can have his "Gimme the key, bitch" moment. (close to his exact words) Then, he says, "Be careful who you mess with Kyle and Turner. You are not clever, you are not cute." And, he's putting them on the block... as soon as he wins his next HOH.

Then, he goes into reciting BB facts.

4:15PM HT In the HOH, Turner has no idea what's in store for him courtesy of the Wrath of Michael. He's currently napping.

4:21PM HT Still in the Starburst bedroom, but, now with Brittany, Michael seems to think this might be the hide the veto comp. He's going through hiding places. He found some hiding places near the base boards. And, he thinks it's clever to hide the veto in the pillow cushions that zip up? (bad idea)

Then, he goes back to BB facts. So, he must not be all that sure about which veto comp it might be.

4:30PM HT In the kitchen, Terrance and Alyssa are playing Chinese Checkers while Kyle watches. And, It's just as exciting as it sounds. (Four feeds of dead silent Chinese Checkers, these people suck.)

Terrance wins. I bet you can just imagine the excitement.

Now, Michael and Terrance are playing. Silently. I can hear voices and laughing. But, nope, we still have four feeds of silent Chinese Checkers.

4:37PM HT In the bedroom with the indoor/outdoor green carpet headboards, Taylor and Brittany, Brittany says, "There's a good chance one of us will be gone next week."

Brittany has feelings, people. And, according to her, everyone is now MAD that she's on the block. And, they're (Turner and Kyle? I'm not sure how this is Kyle's fault, but, ok) going to be sorry that they got everyone mad with this bad game move.

5:46PM HT Another hour goes by and in the starburst bedroom, Michael and Brittany, complaining about Brittany being on the block. And, Brittany's now promising to be a petty jury member. "Anyone who puts me up... ... ...or who puts you (Michael) up. You are not getting my vote."
