centraliaclerk Posted September 13, 2022 It gets so boring towards the end. Instead of the double eviction on one night - I wish they would just speed up the week. Have the regular HOH - then noms, veto, eviction on Sunday. Start the next HOH for ultimate eviction on Thursday. Just a thought…..
copssister Posted September 13, 2022 so - Taylor and Monte making out in the HOH overnight.....just horny young adults scratching an itch or game play on either's part?
Princess Bride Posted September 13, 2022 I'm going with horny. Hasn't Taylor mentioned being on the horny side since almost the beginning of the game? Gotta admit - I'm happily married for longer than they've been alive and I would have a tough time keeping my dirty paws off of Monte.
Sophy Posted September 14, 2022 They did it again this morning - and Monte voiced concern they might be found out. So I agree with Princess Bride and am going with horny too. Because if it's game play, it's horrible game play given the precariousness of the vote this week.
Rose Lynn Posted September 16, 2022 Over the course of this season, a new trend seems to be some house guests getting athletic quality clothing while others get Walmart brand. Is it normal for some houseguests to get better quality clothing than others for the same competition? This has happened repeatedly this season. And, while it might seem like a silly thing, I know for a fact that when I'm on a long run I do significantly better with compression leggings rather than leggings with no support. For example, the slip and slide... this could make a seriously significant difference. Or, really any competition that requires speed, running, or endurance. I could even see a difference where your muscles are stressed long term... like the wall. And, what about a competition where you're stuck wading through sludge...image how much easier it would be if you're wearing compression leggings vs. cheap leggings that keep falling off. This sure reeks of unfairness. And, then, on top of all that, the final four HOH competition happens to be a fashion memory contest? I can't see this being as fair to the men as the women. And, then, if we're being honest certain people have been more than a little bit obsessed with clothing all season. And, it turns out to be the final four HOH competition? Seriously? Magpie Posted September 16, 2022 I honestly don't know whether BB gives them the athletic outfits (aside from costumes they all wear), or if they bring their own general purpose athletic gear into the house for non-themed comps. If the latter, that's on the hammie to bring quality goods. As for the HOH comp, although on the surface it seems rigged for Taylor, I'm not so sure that it was. If I remember it correctly (I mean, I have slept since then), the focus was more on what color Julie was wearing, not stuff like "was I wearing an A-line or dirndl skirt?" The scores were close enough between the 3 that I think all in all it was a pretty fair comp.
Tsylyst Posted September 16, 2022 The HOH comp was memory. Which of these things did I do first? What color were my pants when this happened? How many times did I snap my fingers? I know I heard Turner saying as the show ended something along the lines of "I only memorized the colors of the outfits, not any of the other details...I didn't think we'd need to know everything." So he wasn't counting the snaps, the order of the costume changes, the dance moves, etc. That doesn't have anything to do with stereotypical gender roles. centraliaclerk Posted September 16, 2022 It seemed rigged towards Taylor - just think as a model (or whatever) - she is more in tune with what Julie is wearing since shoes and accessories played a role.
kellybsblover Posted September 16, 2022 Funny I saw it as a memory game and I've notices Turner is very good with details.

Except that the details of what she wore weren't what was covered in the questions. Like @Tsylyst noted above, the hammies were asked about actions, not what one would normally think of as fashion questions. The *theme* of the week might suit Taylor, but the comp was really equal opportunity if you look at it objectively.
Tsylyst Posted September 16, 2022 I wonder when the eviction is actually going to happen. It can't be live on Thursday, right? That would only give them two days to do the final HOH comps, film the jury deliberations and edit it all together for finale night. That must be part of the reason the nominations and veto happened early this week. So at some point the feeds are going to go down and stay down until after Thursday's show, is what I'm thinking. Sophy Posted September 17, 2022 A couple of weeks ago I saw something on Twitter (I'll go back and see if I can find it) that said there were tickets being offered for a live show on Thursday, which as Tsy says, is a very short turnaround for 2 comps before Sunday. But if they use other places than the backyard for comps (like they did for the latest POV) maybe they can get both comps done (one Friday, one Saturday) before the finale on Sunday? Otherwise yes, the feeds will likely go down on Wednesday.
copssister Posted September 26, 2022 While I knew Twitter had Taylor-fever, I certainly thought the jury vote would be closer. Some quick thoughts on the finale show: Ameerah, who I'd picked to win it all, was shayyyDee for calling out the Monte/Taylor showmance - of all that she observed this season, it's not lost on my that the observation she chose to comment on painted Taylor in a negative light. Daniel, oh Daniel, it seemed as if you'd control the show after the first few weeks, but oh how small he seemed on the finale. Kyle knows that Alyssa's family will never let her tie her star to his wagon, right?
