Name: Claire Rehfuss (pronounced RAY-fuss)

Age: 25

Hometown: Chagrin Falls, Ohio
Current City: New York City
Occupation: AI Engineer

Three words that describe you: Clever, driven, and spunky.

What are you most excited about living inside the Big Brother house?
Just being about to live inside of the house that I watch 24/7 during the summer! I eat, sleep, and breathe the Live Feeds and obsess over the moves that players are making. I used to leave college frat parties if I got word that something big was going down on the Feeds, and now I get to be what's happening on the Feeds! I'm excited to stir up drama and create chaos on the show that I love.

What is your strategy for winning the game?
I'll win with my intelligence, drive, and adaptability! I'll sniff out the big threats quickly and navigate my way through the game by creating advantageous alliances. I believe I'll thrive in a chaotic environment, something I learned from my childhood and from working in such a rapidly changing field, so I'll try to cause disruptions and create entropy in the game whenever possible. Hopefully, people will underestimate me the first couple of weeks and give me time to build up relationships before I unleash my cut-throat gameplay.

I'm also going to try to get out the strong alpha dudes early, that way I don't have as many challenge threats or egos that I have to tiptoe around. I'd love to have a strong, small team of women working with me. It's a cliche that "women's alliances don't work in Big Brother," but it's only because of the women that are chosen to be a part of them. I've found women to be my most loyal friends and I have the ability to quickly read people so I'm confident I'll find fellow black widows.

Chagrin Falls....well, that's just a hop/skip/jump away from me!  Wonder if she'll craft up a Zingbot while bored in the house.

Being an AI engineer is one of the most difficult things to do. I'm going to be skeptical about this until someone proves it.

Have you looked at her LinkedIn profile? It says she's a Senior Cloud Solution Architect - AI at Microsoft.

#TeamClaire it is! I'm all for the woman who can bust through stereotypes and achieve her dreams.

For what it's worth, her Instagram has a post from 3 years ago about her employment at Microsoft, so I'm gonna say she's exactly who she says she is. I don't think she was lying for BB back then...

Okay, I'm happy to have someone like that in the house.  I will be paying attention to see if I can learn something from her.

Thanks, Tsy! I put the mini bio in the original post up above, for the HTers (like me) who are too lazy to go read the full bio.

Like “feisty”, anyone that uses “spunky” as a self-description immediately raises a red flag.

I didn't like her attitude. Going after males and forming a female hit squad before  you even know anyone sounds bad to me.

Also, I've been in the IT industry for decades, and now a 25 year old knows more than me?

I've noticed many women in CS/IT seem to have that kind of attitude about men.

I've always kinda enjoyed the disparity myself, as a woman in CS because usually it works in my favor anyway... or at least it always has so far.  IF, it is even an issue at all, which usually, it is not.  I must be interacting with civilized educated people or something.....

The only thing is, coming up through the CS program, while we have absolutely nothing against IT people and totally need and rely on them because we don't know how to do that shit and don't care to figure it out, most of the time, so they are like wizards or something -- but the distinction between the fields was always pointed out.

Hell, one of my favorite professors (and this was a small university, so you got to know them like personally), with a doctorate in computer science, couldn't figure out how to get her computer to display to the big screen in class half the time, along with a lot of other things like that, she was always thankful for the IT specialists!

Anyway, I like her except for the arbitrary "lets get rid of all the men" thing.  I don't care about gender and usually prefer working with guys anyway... they are usually easier to work with.

I love her attitude. Going after males sounds like a sound strategy to me, based upon the history of this show. How often have we seen the men form 20 alliances and pick off the women one by one? I hope she manages to do it, because I'm tired of watching bros season after season, bro-ing it up.
