Age: 26
Hometown: Saunderstown, Rhode Island
Current residence: Saunderstown, Rhode Island
Occupation: Olympic Medalist

Hobbies: Surfing, violin, and wakeboarding.

Pet peeves: I hate when people have conversations while scrolling on their phones. Be present and in the moment without your phone.

Three words to describe you: Gregarious, competitive, and loyal.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Becoming the youngest member of the United States Olympic Team in 2008 at 15 years old.

Who or what is your inspiration in life?
My best friend Allison. She and I have been to three Olympics together. After the 2012 Olympics where she won five medals, she went through a serious post-Olympic depression. She is now a mental health advocate for athletes and speaks around the country. She is a true hero.

What's one thing we wouldn't know from seeing a photo of you?
I love classical music and have played the violin since I was 3 years old.

Which Survivor contestant are you most like?
Kara. Her exuberant personality and positive attitude reminds me of myself.

What's your primary motivation for being on Survivor?
To compete again. I retired from swimming a year ago and I miss challenging myself and bringing myself to the edge. Second reason... one million dollars.

Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor?
I'm physically, mentally, and socially strong. I can easily connect with people—my alliances will be strong and help carry me through the game. I can win individual Immunity due to my strength as an athlete. I'm a tough girl who will fight until the end.

I agree. I guess it's all the tanning, but she has a hint of crow's feet going on there.

She looks older than 26 in that picture for some reason.

And, another one with a lot of hair!

It was kinda dumb to take that challenge against Boston Rob.

It was even dumber to lie about what happened on "Island of the Idols". As more people get sent there they are going to know she lied and it won't look good. Had I been her, I would have fudged the details but kept it somewhat truthful like, "Wow, Sandra and Boston Rob were there and I had a chance to win an idol by making fire but I failed". If that makes people think she might have an idol, would that be the worst thing?

It was dumb to lie, especially with THAT lie.  It would be much better to say that she had been given 3 urns to choose from, one good (immunity), one good for the group (fishing kit?  fire?), and one punishment.  She chose wrong.

Or to say that she was given a challenge she thought she could win against Boston (Swimming?  Balance?  Something that relies on poofy hair?), but she was surprised to find that he could do them better than she remembered.

It was dumb of her to think that she could build fire faster than Boston (or anyone who has survived not one but multiple Survivor seasons), but this early in the game, she could at least plead that she knew she was in the larger alliance and her vote wasn't needed.  When she went to the island, that's the way it was.

Good to know she learned absolutely nothing from her time with Arrogant Bitch Queen and Fat Daddy Douchebag.  Don't lie about something that will 100% be found out soon enough to sink your game.

Ugh, this other bitch.  She did make me literally laugh out loud with her cartoonish expressions at Tribal though.

Yeah, that was the first time I've found her amusing all season. The sheer "I'm fucked"ness of it all was hilarious.

I watched her Ponderosa and she came off as so genuine and likable. All the others were saying that they understand her getting voted out because her social game was so great. Did I somehow miss that during the broadcast shows?
