Scottie Salton - Most Annoying Voice Since Nicole - Evicted 8th and 10th - Jury return

It's used here at HT and maybe other BB sites? I don't think I've ever heard it used by CBS. I want to say it started with Dan Gheesling's ability to "mist" houseguests into go along with his plans without realizing it. It may have started earlier, but that's the first I remember it being used regularly.

IT is what Dan did to all his people so we just use it when someone can just at you and you do what they want.

I'd never heard it used so much on the show.  But yes, it became super-popular with and because of Dan.  Did he use that term himself?  I forget...

But yeah, like Angel said -- but it's not only getting people to do what you want... although that is the foundation of it, but that's just "Misting 101"... the *really* good misting is somehow getting others to think it was their idea, or at least that they helped you come up with it; and that it is in their best interest and not just yours, and that you in fact have their best interests at heart.

It's pretty awesome actually, at least I think so, when someone can do it effectively.  My Aunt who I watch with, she doesn't like Tyler because of it and didn't particularly care for Dan, so far as that goes, because of it.  Or Derrick.  I thought all three were awesome because of being able to do that.  I mean, in a game it is -- if they really did that all the time in real life, I don't know that I'd care for it.  But as game play in this kind of game, it's awesome.

Yeah, I think FF is right.  It was used to describe Dan, but he never used it himself... and i'm pretty sure it was Brittney too.

Yes. As I recall, It originated with Brittney saying that people in the house had been misted or "mistified."

I wondered because I am one of those people, who have been waiting for "one of us" to get on the Show and send us messages.

And yes, it originated on Dan's season. The greatest comeback story evah. The way he included us in the game was awesome.

Scottie made a big game move this week. I don't know that he cared which of the bromance left.

He seems like a normal guy sometimes, like when he has his glasses off and is talking strategy. Other times he's a complete geek, like today when he called Brett a Slytherin, and said he is a Ravenclaw who is there to counter-act him. Seriously, dude, you need to take off your Harry Potter sorting hat and start drinking and having sex with the female Hufflepuffs.

Isn't Scottie gay?  He's so hot for Brett.

I think to him, Brett represents everything he's not so it intimidates him. However, I would much rather spend an evening with Scottie than Brett.

I hadn't thought about him being gay before. I suppose that's possible, but right now he's pretty much asexual. Maybe if you looked at what porn he likes that would tell you, but even that could be a mixed message.

Looks like Scottie's infatuation with Hay landed him on the block and he is finally figuring out that she was playing him.  I think I would call him a "smart" hammie since he at least figured it out.

Scottie is goofy, and he will go to the jury house  because Haleigh, played him and his heart, along his lack of experience with girls.  But at least he's competitive in the contests and while some might say he's a floater.  It wasn't by choice, he was the outsider and not chosen early in the game.  Which in my opinion was a mistake by both sides because he knows the game and he's way more athletic than he looks, first impressions.  Sam read Haleigh (and Kaitlyn) correctly  when she put her on the block.

I would much rather see Fessie, or Sam, leaving, two players that know nothing about this game

I wished he was not going too but like Evel Dick says we have had too many nerds winning, I also don't want Fessie to win because he is just another Josh who took his place last year.
