The Amazing Race - Season 30

Jessica is in the race with Cody,  Jessica just tweeted that they are on their way home and she has the most AMAZING boyfriend and partner in the race.   So she did not say if they won but we know thanks to Elena that they are final 3.

They left for TAR on 10/1, I believe, and she was back on social media before the end of the month, like the 24th from what I can tell. It seems like a short amount of time to film.

I think it's possible that this thing is filmed very quickly. We view it one week at a time, but I don't think these racers have the luxury of waiting around  for the next episode to start filming.

They do film a season in around 20 days. Phil used to use a hashtag on his tweets during the episodes that gave an exact count, but I can't remember exactly.

And even if they had gotten kicked off early, they are in sequester of some sort until the finish line.

Rumors on FB today say they won.  IT does not air till March, don't know how the other 30 seasons have been kept so secret even when other BBers were on it,  guess this is Tweeter days.

There were all kinds of pictures of them visiting Cody's family in Iowa post-race. They looked pretty happy with each other.

If one good thing came from BB19 (outside of that video setting Paul's Loss to Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go ON) then good on them.

Premieres Jan. 3 and will be paired with Celeb BB in February. It's airing a lot of 2-hour eps, too. (Which makes me think it's a bit of a burn-off attempt for a not-interesting season.)

CBS has the cast up for the next season. It's the usual assortment of relative/dating/coworkers/some weird combination.

Joey Chestnut is a World Champion competitive eater. He has won the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest a number of times (eight? nine?). Dude has crammed 60+ hot dogs into his piehole in 10 minutes. It's truly impressive ... in a gross kind of way. And, what the fuck is up with that get-up they are wearing? Are they channeling Peter Pan?

His partner is the World Burping Champion? Really? Is there such a thing?

Cedric Ceballos and Shawn Marion were top-notch NBA players.

Cody and Jessica annoyed the piss out of me on Big Brother. I hope they crash and burn quickly.

Discovered I hate Goat Yoga, though. Or maybe it's just the passive-aggressive women involved in it.

Glad the ring girls went first. Yuck.

Now my hate for the goat yoga team can take center stage. I can't believe Joey Chestnut and Eater X agreed to do this, but I guess they figured it's easier than their regular profession. Surprisingly, I don't hate Cody & Jess yet.

I hate Jessica and Cody, wanted to watch them fail, was Jessica right about the mat but Cody did not trust her?  I am glad they did not come in first.  I wanted a close up of those tiny little green camo shorts when he jumped in the water for the clue.  I am glad the ring girls lost.
