CripesAlmighty Posted May 26, 2017 I would think that producing a show like TAR in today's world political climate would be a huge gamble. All it would take is one nutbar to use it as an opportunity to get some press. According to the latest, it seems to be on for another season though. Of course, "Zoo" got another season too, despite plot holes big enough to ride an elephant through.
MrsGryn Posted May 27, 2017 Well, I was sorry that Matt and Redmond were out. Would much rather it had been Brooke and WhatsHisName. I felt bad for Tara because that would have been me with that type of game. Okay, maybe a little better but I would have sucked. Joey was a bit out of line with his attitude about the gamer kid, who was obviously feeling pretty bad for Tara's continued failures. London and Logan are pretty but uninteresting. AVorlon Posted May 28, 2017 I had a hard time getting through that whole video game segment. I don't play them myself, so I can't imagine how that could be a spectator sport. Even if I were familiar with the games, I still wouldn't sit around watching teenagers playing them. I had to fast-forward for most of that. It's right up there with watching bowling on TV. Oh, and I can't stand cabbage either, so what I learned was to never order that in a Korean restaurant.
Kyara Posted May 28, 2017 Granted, I've played lots of video games in my life, but still, watching them is a huge spectator sport, even among non-players. Hell, Twitch (the app) exists mostly due to people watching others play. Dan Gheesling has a play stream on Twitch on Wednesday nights, but I don't remember what he plays. Even a decade ago people were posting screen capture video on their websites of their guilds taking down difficult mobs (monsters within a game). The biggest and best guilds did this often, earning them lots of street cred in the gaming world. Street Fighter is a game that's been around for a long time and some of the people you saw in the TAR footage were some of the top players in the world. I have to admit that I was kind of surprised that Tara still couldn't beat the kid while he was blind-folded. You can't just mash keys and win though! Also, Joey was an asshole about the whole thing. Lorelai28 Posted May 28, 2017 London and Logan are pretty but uninteresting. And she has really weird eyes.
ff174 Posted May 29, 2017 I am enjoying this season. I just got through episode 9 in Viet Nam (mannequins) and have come to this conclusion. Brooke needs to shut the fuck up. Now.
avarner Posted May 30, 2017 I wish I was half as witty as the posters in Hamster Time. I always look forward to the snark!! I hate Redmond and Matt are out and I hate Brook so bad!! I was really hoping for a 4 team Final. And Joey was so getting on my nerves complaining about the video gamer, he was just doing his job!

MrsGryn Posted June 4, 2017 Well, Scott earned his money. In fact, Brooke should give him half of hers. Also she should share with the teams that helped her along the way because if it weren't for Son of Tormund, she would still be making sieves in Africa.
