kellilea Posted July 31, 2014 Wow. If he wasn't absolutely bat shit crazy I might feel bad for him because that is 87 kinds of embarrassing. But he is, so I don't. Stupid fucker.
makani Posted July 31, 2014 There's stupid and there's sick/delusional. Caleb strikes me as smarter than his environment allowed him to become and thus is very, very sick. I've never seen anyone kick narcissism and the boys in this house are playing with fire. Not that they care. It's Lord of the Flies and right now Caleb is Piggy. nixiechick Posted July 31, 2014 I missed the second half of Sunday's show, we had tornado warnings, and am just watching last night's now. I'm not liking what I'm seeing with Caleb. Sure, he's a total jackass and crazy as fuck, but I legitimately could see him going completely off the rails when he leaves the house and sees the public response to him and how he's been continuously played by the guys in the house. I hope CBS has one hell of a psychologist around for him. He's a mess, but I don't want to see him hurting himself or someone else. You know he's the type to spend months reading everything he can find his name in after this and it's gonna be rough. One stranger says something to him in a bar and I see an attempted murder charge in his future.

Topaz88 Posted August 1, 2014 He doesn't even have the balls to say his goodbye speech to Amber. What a waste of human life.
Guest Posted August 1, 2014 Those poor bunny slippers. God knows what he's going to to with them now that Amber is gone. Because he will FOR SURE go all Gina Marie on them and carry them everywhere as soon as his mind twists back to loving and missing Amber.
forever1267 Posted August 1, 2014 Couldn't even throw her a sympathy vote. He's even bad at stalking.
Topaz88 Posted August 1, 2014 His onesie that he's wearing has what looks to be the kardashians for Sears symbol on it. So is it really made for a woman?
dc20willsave Posted August 1, 2014 THANK YOU! I kept on trying to tell if that was a one-piece or a leotard or what. The fact that the thing was part of the Kardashian Collection makes sense because Caleb is notable for being a huge ass.
Tsylyst Posted August 1, 2014 I have to wonder how much of the Amber obsession is "real" and how much is for show. Caleb is the biggest famewhore I think I've ever seen on BB. I've heard him repeatedly on the feeds talk about how he is expecting to be superstar famous after the show -- he thinks he's going to be a country music star and/or action movie actor. (Acting is his real passion, he says. But he would settle for a singing career.) As such, he's busy building his "brand." Notice how he works "Beastmode Cowboy" into every conversation and DR session. This is his "brand" -- it's classic PR/advertising tactics: repeat something until people remember it and associate you with it. (Expect it to show up on shirts and stuff that he tries to sell to fans after the show.) He has spoken on the feeds about how he always grooms himself before going in the DR, and how he crafts careful answers in the DR to look his best to the outside world. (He doesn't understand that he looks and sounds like an idiot 95% of the time, apparently.) Part of being remembered after BB is your showmance situation, and Caleb knows this. Jeff/Jordan, Rachel/Brendon, GinaMarie/Nick -- even when we mention Boogie around here, we often also bring up the proposal to his BB2 showmance or his total backstabbing of his All-Stars showmance. In Caleb's efforts to "build a brand" (my words, not his), he was doing his darndest to be play the role of "romantic beastmode cowboy" (his words, not mine) for Amber. Of course, that all went to shit when she wouldn't play along. Either way, he'll be remembered for his "nomance," so score one for his "brand." As long as he is in the house, he will continue to talk about Amber in a way that makes himself look good to (he thinks) bolster his image as a romantic figure that should be beloved by millions. A lot of it is ego, to be sure; why else would he think he's going to be uber-famous? But he has already admitted on the feeds that there is a larger plan at foot: to spin his time on BB to his career advantage. I think at least part of what we're interpreting as "obesssion" is really him "playing a character" that he thinks we want to see (and that he thinks we'll love him for). He's way off the mark with his assumption of what we will think of him, of course. I doubt he understands that he's being spun on the episodes as a creepy villain-type, or that even Julie Chen is making fun of him on the live show. But he'd love the attention either way. When he gets out of the house, he'll find some way to spin this stalker stuff so that it benefits his "brand." Because he's a major famewhore, and that's what they do. Magpie Posted August 1, 2014 Agreed, Tsy. I have been thinking for a while now that this whole stalker thing has a fake ring to it. Despite all the clamor on the Internet, I've seen no signs that Amber has ever felt at all threatened by Caleb's nonsense. He's trying to be a tragic romantic figure and is coming off as a different type of "tragic", but I don't think Amber has a thing to worry about. He's like Booger's stupider cousin, wanting only to be famous, even if it's just for being vile.
chrysana Posted August 1, 2014 His ideas of fame are as delusional as BB's first Cowboy (Nakomis' unknown half-brother...how sad I don't remember his real name, I think Michael). In fact, I think that even when he sees his edit, he'll think he's "the man".
hefgypsy Posted August 1, 2014 I think you are giving Caleb too much credit. He's a moron. He knows how to 'talk himself up' but as far as branding, he would not have a clue. His thing for Amber IMO is real. His narcissism is what makes him think that Amber wanted him too. Delusional. Not analytical. Sorry. Just can't give him that credit. nixiechick Posted August 1, 2014 If we hadn't seen so many shots of him silently staring or spending hours using the HOH cam to stalk her around the house, I might believe it's an act. But he's done those things when he's completely alone. Unless pathological lunatic is his "brand", he's doing this all wrong.
Magpie Posted August 1, 2014 Consider, though, that he's most likely aware that the cameras are still on, even when no one else is around. I think Tsy's theory is just as likely as the psychological diagnoses being put forth. This is one of those "time will tell" things, and one guess is as good as any other.
