Week 3 Post-Eviction Highlights

Wow. I’ve not posted any highlights for days because there really weren’t any. Just the usual campaigning, waffling, and lying about votes. But post-eviction last night was action-packed. Copssister covered it pretty succinctly, but here are some added details.

Helen et al. celebrated to an extent that would have been obnoxious if the Aryan nation hadn’t been so thoroughly nasty to them. Jeremy, always the one to know what side of the bread his butter is on, congratulated Helen and generally tried to keep some perspective on the whole sitch. Helen talked about bringing him into the fold, but Andy is trying hard to put the kibash on that.

VaGinaMarie sobbed and sobbed… and sobbed some more over her lost love, Nick. They were so close that after weeks of badgering and stalking, VGM dragged a kiss out of Nick. That guy she saw pictures of Nick snuggling with was his uncle. They were meant to be and now VGM’s reason for existence is lost forever. Later, the other BB widow, Aryan, got caught up in the whole weeping and gnashing of teeth spectacle, and it was quite a spectacle, and shed some tears over David. Heh. They and K-K-Kaitlin talked about self-eviction.

Helen was all cumbaya about her HOH, but when Howard and Spencer came up to the HOH room to talk about nominations, she made it very clear that this is her HOH and if they want to nominate someone, they can damn well go out and win an HOH competition like she did. Sweet, but I have the sinking feeling that she may already be tripping on the power a little.

Helen and Co. did try to figure out who the wanky vote was. Howard lied and said he voted out Nick. Spencer tried to say it was Jessie who voted against Elissa, but it didn’t take long for them to figure out it was either Spencer or Howard and that they had intentionally thrown a vote in order to set Jessie up as a traitor. Spencer, always in touch with women’s thoughts and feelings, thinks he controls Helen and by extension, her HOH.

As for the Gruesomes, against the backdrop of VGM’s extreme and disproportionate display of grief, Aryan lashed out, primarily at Candice and Jessie. She pushed Candice’s mattress off the bed while Candice was out of the room. She and Kaitlin mocked Candice’s accent and took her bed. VaGinaMarie got all up in Candice’s face and Howard had to come in and carry Candice out of the room. VGM apologized to Candice later. Jeremy told them later that they shouldn’t have done any of that. Every season, I’m irritated by the assumption that the women are the weak, emotional imbeciles who should be the first out. I can’t have any righteous indignation about it with this crop of girls. I’m a little sad about that.

Candice and Howard both had mini-breakdowns over the horrible treatment in the house. Candice didn’t want to let the Aryan nation win – take her bed, bully her, etc., but Howard fessed up to having a wicked temper and told Candice if he went back in there, he would end up going home that night. So they decided to let it be. Candice slept in the have-not room and Howard wouldn’t leave her side.

Aryan yelled at Jessie about her vote, but Jessie defended herself and said she’s playing the game. Aryan told her she’s being portrayed as a slut. Kaitlin yelled at Jessie, too, and Judd came in to run interference. Kaitlin and Jeremy got in Jessie’s bed, but had to get out for the HOH reveal. Jessie ran back down from HOH to reclaim it, but Jeremy got into the bed with her and wouldn’t leave. They each tried to wait out the other for ownership of the bed. Later, when Jessie, this time with Elissa, asked Jeremy to beat it, he did.

Amanda told Aryan that Aryan’s TV portrayal is far worse than Jessie’s. Aryan is a racist. Aryan denied any racist remarks ever. Aryan said she will never trust Amanda again and won’t work with her. Amanda said she doesn’t give a shit. She said she feels safer with Elissa than the Aryan nation.

McCrae came clean with Amanda about the Moving Company and said once they, Spencer primarily, started talking about dumping Amanda, he was done, D-U-N. It’s a new day in their showmance. McCrae told Judd and Andy about it, too.

VaGinaMarie said she peed on a tampon and put it on Spencer’s bed.

Aryan’s thoughts about what’s happened: It’s not fair!!! The other side is targeting them because they’re strong, sexy, and in relationships. Someone can win the half million dollars, but their true colors will still show. America will see who they really are. People are threatened by blue-eyed blondes.

It’s about 9:45 am HT, page 9, post 133, and the hammies are getting up and about for the day. I am loving angelmi’s hate for some of the houseguests.

Week 3 Nomination Highlights

As expected, FUG, I mean America, gave Elissa the MVP again. I’m just going to leave that sentence in every week until another one of FUG’s pets is in danger and she decides to give that person the MVP. America, my patootie.

But first… Helen’s plan was to nominate Aryan and Howard. Assuming Jeremy didn’t get picked for the veto competition, the veto winner would take Aryan off the block and Jeremy would be the replacement nominee. Howard would be the second nominee because he would fight hard for veto and even if Jeremy played, he would be less likely to win, so the end result would be the same. Helen also worked herself up into some anger over Howard’s lies and general sketchiness, which she considers to be worse than bigotry and bullying.

Anyway, the DR told Helen she couldn’t nominate Howard, so she nominated Aryan and Kaitlin. She made it clear to Kaitlin that she’s only a pawn. She later told Aryan that if Aryan stays on the block after the veto comp, it’s sayonara for her. But if everything lines up the way Helen wants it to, Aryan will be safe.

Helen’s gotten confessions about the MC from everyone now and has cried through most of it. She told Jeremy and Spencer that she would forgive them – once. They each kissed the hem of her skirt and backed out of the HOH room.

After repeatedly lying about being the vote against Elissa, Howard finally had his Come to Jesus OGG meeting with Helen and her hench-hammies. He apologized for his loyalty to the Moving Company and for the treatment Helen and her crew received while he was supporting the MC. Helen cried. Andy cried, too, but that was planned. He wanted to make Howard feel like shit. Helen doesn’t like anything less than full disclosure from her minions and she still wanted Howard nominated.

So they went to work on Elissa. Elissa said if she nominated Howard, Candice would be pissed. Elissa didn’t want to do the dirty work, but she also took it as a given that the nomination was hers to make even before the DR told her. Helen and McCrae both offered to say they had MVP to take the heat off Elissa. Eventually, Elissa agreed. McCrae told some people he had MVP and he indicated Howard might be nominated. Elissa was called to the DR, though, and after being talked to by production, came back to tell the rest of the HOH gang that she had nominated Spencer.

Amanda was pissed, because McCrae had lied about having MVP and nominating Howard. McCrae went to Howard to make a deal with him not to fake nominate him. Howard and Spencer think they're in a new alliance with McCrae and Amanda and that McCrae is going to nominate Spencer just as a cover.

Helen’s preferred order of eviction is Jeremy, Howard (FUG’s never going to let it happen), then Spencer. If Aryan puts away the white sheets and keeps her yap shut, maybe Helen will work with her. Aryan is rethinking her whole game. Helen thinks she can work with K-K-Kaitlin once Jeremy’s out of the picture. Helen doesn’t think she can work with Candice, who is completely under the control of sketchy Howard.

Have-nots are Aryan, Amanda, McCrae, and Howard, I think. Howard said he threw the comp so Aryan would be a have-not.

At 8:15 a.m. HT, page 18, post 263, nothing of real importance going on this early.

Week 3 Veto Competition Highlights

Elissa’s nomination of Spencer was revealed and they picked for the veto competition. Jeremy didn’t get picked. VaGinaMarie did and so did Candice. There was some concern that Kaitlin might not use the veto if she won. It was made clear to her, though, that if she doesn’t do her part in the back-door Jeremy plan, she’ll go home. Jeremy is also aware of the plan and telling the girls it be what it be. Judd is host for the veto comp, so it could be a long one. Expect lots of subtitling on the broadcast show. Hah! I typed that before the comp started and it took over 5 hours.

Kaitlin won the veto in a competition that had them jumping on a trampoline one at a time and seeing pictures over a wall. Jeremy told Kaitlin to play for herself. He doesn’t expect her to save him by not using the veto.

Howard is still sketchy. Kaitlin thinks Helen should put him up as the replacement nominee when she uses the veto. In exchange, Jeremy will give Helen input when he wins next week. Andy is on board with that idea and tried with Kaitlin to convince Helen. Guess what? Helen cried. She agreed that Howard is a sketchy mofo, but she also had a lot of reasons to get rid of Jeremy. So she said no way to Kaitlin’s plan, but she’ll allow Kaitlin and Andy to vote out Spencer instead of Moronimoe. And she’ll bring the widow Kaitlin into the fold upon Jeremy’s demise. Helen wants Elissa to be comfortable with the idea that they can work with Kaitlin. Elissa doesn’t like it.

Aryan and Spencer talked about possible repercussions of the racism business outside the house. Spencer advised her to maybe volunteer at some urban something, but Aryan doesn’t think she should have to try to atone for things she never said. She told Spencer that when the DR asked her middle name, she said Shaniqua. He told her she really may have to do some damage control, but she’ll get through it ok. Aryan would rather ignore it. I wonder if Spencer plans to volunteer at a c*nt protectorate.

Oh, yay. Kaitlin is going to blubber over Moronimoe until eviction day. She is devastated over the impending loss of the guy she doesn’t much like, but still had sex with on live television after knowing him for two weeks. Kaitlin’s weeping got VGM started again, too. Because, you know, she knows all about loves that last almost three weeks. VGM and Nick were so close that they didn’t need things like touching and kissing and talking about being together.

Helen told Kaitlin that McCrae has been the MVP the last two times and Kaitlin believes it. She’s spreading the story as fact. Most of the house knows Elissa was MVP, because Elissa can’t keep her beak shut about it.

Double highlight day! It’s 8:20 p.m. HT, page 24, post 358, and Jeremy plans to go out with his head held high.

Week 3 Veto Meeting Highlights (Drive-by Edition)

They had the veto meeting today. K-K-Kaitlin used the veto. Jeremy is the replacement nominee and all is right with the world.

In other news, VaGinaMarie is still trying to convince herself and anyone else who will listen that she was in a relationship with Saint Nick. Aryan tried to subtly clue Mrs. Claus in to the fact that St. Nick was never into her, but VGM doesn’t do subtle.

Jeremy is campaigning to stay. Everyone is telling him they’ll think about it, but they probably won’t. He’s remarkably chipper for someone who claims to think he’s out the door this week. Oh, and he will be an all-star or a coach or something on a future season, because he’s just that awesome a player.

Helen promised Kaitlin safety for a week or two to show her appreciation for Kaitlin doing the only thing she could do to save her own hide. Elissa and Amanda are not good with that. Jessie also expressed some reservations about it to Helen and Helen told her if she wins HOH, she can do whatev. Helen is also coaching Aryan to stop isolating herself. “Let people get to know the real you,” and all. Can’t wait to see how that goes for her. Helen wants to be seen as a magnanimous, forgiving leader by the Aryan nation. She offered Moronimoe and Kaitlin the HOH room for Wednesday night so they can have all the pre-eviction sex.

Howard and Candice are all cuddly and might be a full-on showmance now.

Candice and Jeremy had an argument over the nasty remarks that have been made in the house this season.

The alliance of People Who Tolerate Elissa So They Can Control Her MVP Nomination aren’t pleased that she isn’t toeing the line. She’s going all rogue and nominating who FUG she wants.

Bada bing, bada boom, you’re up to date. Expect to see more of the same. It is 12:30 p.m. HT on Monday, page 36, post 536.

P.S. Thanks for the correction, Topaz88.

Week 3 Scraping the Bottom of the Barrel Highlights

Well, there’s really so little to say. There was supposed to be a memorial service to lay St. Nick’s snot-stained red shorts and other remains to rest. But VaGinaMarie is still too deep in mourning for her lost love. The rest of the hammies are sick of hearing about VGM’s imaginary relationship.

Helen continues to play benevolent dictator. The rest of her alliance of People Who Tolerate Elissa So They Can Control the MVP Nomination have come up with the obligatory douchey name for themselves: the Knockouts. The KOs, Judd, Amanda, McCrae, Elissa, and Andy, wonder why Helen feels she has the right to make deals as if she will continue running things after her reign as HOH is over. They’re also peeved that she can’t keep her big trap shut. Between Helen, Elissa, and Jessie (an auxiliary member), the KOs can’t keep a secret.

Jeremy went to Helen and Elissa to beg for his life. He said he would be a foot soldier for them and take out Howard and Spencer (they’re SKETCHY). He said some of the others would vote to keep him if Helen gave her blessing. Helen said Aryan would have to go if he stays and he was good with that. Helen told him how he would have to act in the house going forward, as if she would have any say in that once he was safe. Whatevs. Anyway, after Moronimoe was gone, the rest of the KOs said he has to go.

Jeremy thinks black people can't swim. Howard wasn't there to hold his head under water and see if racist Native American wanna-be famewhores can swim. The DR must have told the hammies that they're on the TV, because K-K-Kaitlin shushed Moronimoe. He thought it was ok, though, because he whispered.

Aryan is cozying up to Judd and is parannoying about Jeremy throwing her under Diane’s house in order to save himself. K-K-Kaitlin is getting all buddy-buddy with Andy, who told her he feels closer to her than to Elissa.

Yes, they’re just that boring. At about 5:45 a.m. HT, page 48, post 713, they’re all asleep.
