I have to admit. It would be funny if Elissa was the 3rd nominee simply because people thought they were voting her the MVP again.

They really should have set it up to let you pick 3 MVP candidates: your first, second and third choice, so that if your vote is nominated by the HoH your vote wouldn't be completely thrown away.

 

It would also have helped to drive home the point to the endlessly dumb American audience that the voting is different this week.

 

EDIT: And fourth choice, I suppose, for if the MVP nom is vetoed. Geez, it's possible that the fourth place America's vote could be the one that "sticks." In such a case, I'm guessing 85% of all voters will have no input on that nom. Weak.

It will really mess with their heads if Elissa goes up as the MVP candidate. Unfortunately, it will cause aryan to gloat that she knew that America really hated Elissa.

All they have to do is have Julie tell the house that the top vote getter by a wide margin is Aryan, but since she's already nominated, they have to go with the distant second. Even Aryan can't think she's beloved by America then. She will find a way to blame Candice, though, I'm sure.

 

I think it would be awesome if Elissa was the nominee.

I hate the fact that the HOH tells the nominees in advance what they are going to do.

Remember the good old days when they were NOT allowed to let the nominees know what's up until the actual ceremony? I liked that so much better.

You can do a version of that on your own! They give you 10 votes, so just give 3 or 4 votes to your top pick, 2 or 3 votes to your second choice, and 1 or 2 votes to your third and fourth choices. That way you're still weighting it toward your favorite, but if a back up or two is needed, you've got that covered as well!

If I'm honest I don't really care who America chooses, or if we get our say. What makes this twist interesting to me is the impact it will have on the hamsters, as they try to figure out who America likes, and who America dislikes.

Former houseguests are cracking up about this Elissa nomination on Twitter saying that Brenchel fans are so stupid they didn't know they were voting to nominate Elissa instead of give her MVP again.

They probably were doing that robot voting and forgot to turn it off, ha! I do believe they would be that stupid as to not know the difference in putting up as MVP and putting he on the block. I wished they had told Aaryn she was first and already on the block so Elissa was second.

I don't know about the bot voting, CBS only let's me vote 10 times then a little sign comes up and says I've voted 10 times and I can't vote anymore.

 

What I hate is that somehow (cough cough) Elissa knew that the MVP player was a twist, why not leave her guessing? Why give her any ammo, let her freak out about not getting it and all of them wondering who got it and going nuts. I mean they were going nuts last night but just leave it along FUG, it's a better twist when Elissa isn't your pet piss-ant.
