I'm sure FUG could figure out a way to use MVP twice in a double eviction. They cut off the MVP voting for the intial noms early in the week before POV, so on say the Wednesday show they announce a DoubleEviction-Fast Forward and give everyone until the next day to vote for another MVP.

There is absolutely nothing that says that FUG can't just say, "We're not doing MVP for this one, but it will return for the next." In fact, that could create more havoc than it ever has before!

True, except unless they gave the HoH a third nom to make, it would not be as Julie said on premiere night that there would be 3 nominees for eviction every week. But yes, expect the une...blah blah blah.

Ok, hear me out.

 

I feel like we're in some weird parallel universe BB. We've got the racist comments coming from two blond, blue-eyed pageant beauties. Total stereotype. One of them tells Asian Helen to go make some rice. Helen has a conversation later talking about how she loves rice. Bigot blonde Aryan ( and the name? Seriously? It wrote itself) and Co. also have a conversation about the black people sticking together. Howard and Black Candice seem to be mighty close lately. Aryan imitates Asian people who do nails. Helen later hosts a nail party. The guy who's like 1/16th Cherokee keeps using the most stereotypical comments about Native Americans IN REFERENCE TO HIMSELF. It's like this is a sensitivity training video from The Dharma Initiative. We're all on fucking Lost.

“We are the minority" was so funny coming out of Aaryn's mouth, probably the first time she has ever said it about herself.

The article is a good read, but I still don't get why VGM is getting a pass. Sure, she was mentioned in the NY Times article ... once. She has been just as big of a bigot as Aaryn has been.

They didn't really show it on the show, so Chenbot isn't getting all angsty about it, so it doesn't count.

That's been my point since they did the first and the second segment on Aaryn's racist comments.

They have to show all of them not just single out one HG as the only bigot racist in the house.

I'm guessing due to the racist comments some HGs are never going to get the meet the family segment.

About GinaMarie and why they don't focus on her racism, this is the only thing I can think of....

 

Any racism comes from ignorance (in my opinion) and any racism is malicious. GinaMarie's seems to stem more out of ignorance (certainly not just that) while Aaryn's seems about as malicious as one can get.

 

I know that probably makes no sense, but it sort of did in my head.

I wonder if CBS is purposely laying all the blame at Aaryn's feet to take the heat off. If they can somehow make John Q Public believe that it is mostly one person, then maybe they can save some face.

 

And, for the most part, it may be working. There's a reason that CBS is on top of the ratings and has been so for the last 5 years. Most media articles single out Aryan as the guilty party. That Aaryn Facebook fan site has hundreds of anti-Aaryn posts, yet the Facebook site featuring VGM in the Jolly Rancher get-up has only a few (two of them from HT'ers).

 

Plus, we have heard absolutely nothing when it comes to some of the things that Spencer and Jeremy have said.

 

So, why have they singled out Aaryn?

It seems, for the most part, that VGM has stopped with the derogatory comments. Sure, one slipped out during MattressGate, but I think she has been a little more careful, lately. I am guessing that they were warned in the DR, and VGM took heed ... somewhat. Meanwhile, Aaryn just didn't get it, and has continued to make inflammatory comments.

 

So, CBS picked their goat ... a white one, at that.

I think they also are seeing Aaryn as the leader of the racial hate and hope when she goes, that the rest will back off. Although, I don't know how you can see something like saying N...insurance as just ignorant, that's out & out hate. GM gets absoluly giddy when she starts yelling racial slurs, whereas Aaryn looks justified and indignant. Both being very big bigots.

 

And that comment about one contestant being part Native American, Jeremy hardly seems to be part anything but ass. If he does have that in his history, he doesn't know a damn thing about the culture or history. He's hardly a representative of another ethnic group!

 

Kaitlin is getting a free ride on this and she has been right in there egging the other two on. I don't give her a pass at all. I hope they all go out before jury.
