Spencer - "I need to get some chocolate milk."

Regarding the drug use, did Spencer ever admit to using drugs while on the job? And, even if he did, he could always claim that he was just kidding around.

It all comes down to how strong his union is. In baseball, almost every contract has moral turpitude language that states a team can terminate a player if they break certain laws or engage in conduct that is considered to be contrary to community standard. However, this language is rarely invoked.

He seemed genuinely surprised that Julie was addressing him about the issue on finale night.

I don't understand how a 31-year-old man didn't understand why it might not be good to talk about his on the job drug use while liiving in front of a camera 24/7.

But if you're going to hate a hamster for saying something about some other hamster that is not nice behind their back, shouldn't you hate every single hamster that's ever been on this show?

Seriously, anyone that claimed to be offended by his comments, why were you offended? He means nothing to you, his opinion means nothing to you and you will forget about him in no time. His comments didn't affect your life any way. He made what he thought were jokes and he said a few means things about people behind their back. So what...it's what human beings do.

I thought the whole purpose was for me to hate every single hamster that's ever been on this show. Or close to it. I'll have to go back and read the manual.

I didn't really see on here where posters were offended by him. The only thing that offended me about him was his grotesque habits. Fat bastard reminds me of a guy I used to hang and work with. He was witty and intelligent. But, he always made inappropriate comments about women, including me. When told it was out of line, he'd apologize and then do the same thing the next day. He had a certain view that women were only good for two things: fucking (if other woman) and cooking / cleaning (if girlfriend or wife). At a certain point it just got tiresome.

That is Spencer to me. He didn't offend me. But, his tunnel vision on women got old. Besides, I'm pretty sure the work issue is him talking about drug use.

I liked picking on piggy because he made it fun. This season they almost all made it fun.

Agree with thunderstruck... we watch them so we can hate them, or love them. They put their selves on display, we do our part by booing the villains and cheering the good guys. (And we all have different heroes and good guys)These individuals represent types of people that really do exist in the world and allow us to vent our disgust in a safe forum. They signed up for it...I only signed up to pay $29.99 to watch them do it. Spencer and some of the others offend me, yes, but I personally would never call one of their employers and demand they be fired for moral turpitude, and I don't want to see them lose jobs or relationships. (Unless the are driving a big train my way impaired by drug use.)

I do want to reach through the screen and slap a few of them upside the head, not only for what they say, but the fact that they are oblivious that they are seen and heard 24/7. I marvel at the stupidity that Spencer, after 90 days, tells Andy he has to wait to tell him something after "BB After Dark" is over "so they won't have an audience" These people claim to be "big fans" but don't seem to have a clue as to where they are and what might be going on. And I do feel, that if they are that clueless in such a public forum , they must be pretty darn well nitwits in real life.

I thought the biggest issue with what Spencer said was people were freaking over the kiddie porn joke. Stupid and ill timed? Yes, but should he lose his job over it? No. Now if the union comes back with demanding monthly drug tests, that I could see since he talked about it quite a bit and didn't seem to overly regret his drug use. He went to rehab before, right? That would make me think the railroad is already familiar with his past drug use at least on some level.

They couldn't fire him about the Kiddie porn, unless they found kiddie porn in his computer, etc. He never said he liked or did kiddie porn, he was making a sick joke about it in Mc's microphone as in Mc saying it. It was stupid but he never said he looked at or liked kiddie porn. That's why I think it's the drug use comments he made and I can't tell you if he ever said he did it on the job but I can see why that would be investigated. I saw the kiddie pron thing, it's all on camera, there's no way the union could misconstrue that info. That's my thought, that they are checking in to see if he worked, after rehab, while on illegal drugs. What else could the union possibly care about in his behavior on the show?

Spencer irritated me with the way he talked about women in general and Jessie in particular. Did he say it about me? No, but I don't think it's out of line to feel some reaction to react to someone who is being offensive. Empathy is a good thing. Actually, I think that quite a few people on this cast could have redeemed themselves a bit if they had some empathy for others.
