angelmi Posted May 12, 2011 OH man Phillip makes me sick. I don't think it is fair that Rob has a picture of his wife and daughter there, and didn't he have the 2nd baby before this was filmed? I am sad about Grant, can't wait to see him and Matt, and Mike all trying to get back into the game but all 3 are going after Rob, I am afraid. I wanted them to put Phillip out so bad. Then 2 more challenges and TCs to get down to a final three. if I'm right about those numbers, I can't see anyone from RI coming back and not getting axed at the first TC (unless of course they win immunity). The obvious argument would be that the jury will primarily be made up of former Omelet members, and would surely vote for the remaining member of their tribe. If Grant comes back, then Rob would tell his tribe that Grant would get a lot of votes because of his challenge wins. Grant could try to convince the others that Rob wins against all of them, but Natalie is so far up Rob's ass that it would probably fall on deaf ears. Plus, is the immunity idol out of play? I think Rob could wear it around his neck and they wouldn't get it. Dumbest players ever. I really hate to see Rob win but unless someone from Omelet comes back, it'll either be a Rob win without having to have played at all, or a sad win for some Robbot who doesn't deserve it either. Lousy season! I think Ralph couldn't spell so he couldn't finish the puzzle. Can they no longer share food like they use to? I remember when ever they could take food back with them or they had it in camp, they could share with the other members. The girls did not eat all that food, I thought for sure they would give the rest to the guys. Poor Andrea, Matt didn't take her in with open arms and Ralph wouldn't get off the bed. I know that the common consensus is that all of the other members of his tribe are stupid, but they are still alive. It could very well be that the editors are setting us up for a massive downfall of Rob, by omitting any talk about needing to take him out. I'd be willing to bet that they have omitted all interviews about needing to take Rob out before the final 3. The thing is, they can still do it now. And, it wouldn't surprise me if they did. If they do get rid of him, all of a sudden, they won't look too stupid. I think that it would behoove Rob to win the final four immunity challenge. Otherwise, he is probably gone. Shannon Posted May 13, 2011 I think Rob planned on playing the game, I think he is capable of playing the game, but I don't think he's had to yet. At first he was messing around the idol and clues, but it hit him that all he had to do was listen to these Robbots wait on him and do his bidding without even being asked, so it's just an easy ride for him with just a few bumps so far. I also think when you bring someone back 4 times you are trying to give him a win and still follow what ever rules there are for that sort of thing. I'm not blaming Rob, I don't much like him, but it has made for the most boring Survivor I've ever watched. A surprise at the end would be great FF, I hope who ever wins makes some kind of move to wake up this game and make Rob start having to play. Then if Rob wins, it will at least be by playing. These people should have taken Rob out right away, just like the others did Russell. No one should come back unless it's an all-star type game. I don't want tail-riding Natalie (is that her name?) to win by default either. I'm tired of girls who barely make it to get up and pee in the jungle to win the money. And it still bugs the crap out of me that RI is just a place to stay for one more shot at the game. I don't like the rest knowing who's still there and who went home. uaintjak Posted May 13, 2011 I don't think I would classify Rob's game as "strong" only because the rest of his tribe seems totally uninterested in doing anything but what he says. He's got a great social game going on, because his entire stupid tribe trusts him, so he gets mad props for that. Strategically though he hasn't hit a single real roadblock except at the very beginning when what's-her-name wanted to vote him out. He's sort of the anti-Russel in this. Russel (despite what you may think of him) had an incredible strategic game (twice). His social game was the pits though. Rob has a great social game (despite what you may think of him) but hasn't been really challenged at all strategically. I can totally see the editors keeping us in the dark if this has been a discussion amongst the survivors. While, The Robsters are still alive, I'm doubtful they are planning anything this big. It's too bad because that would be good TV. I like Rob, but have found the season a bit boring. A finale where Rob was blind-sided, that would be entertaining. I do love that Rob lasted longer than Russell, who never understood the social side of Survivor. I hope during the reunion show Jeff asks his tribe why they never thought of getting Rob out, and were they even playing the game? As for Phillip, whether he's playing crazy or not I do not support him winning. He's too annoying. Nominate the man for an Emmy, but not the winner of Survivor.
