AVorlon Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) Getting back to ZGeist, yeah, the person left on Redemption Island is almosst certain to get voted right back out again, if they bring him/her back too soon. So, with no real rules in place about this, I think the producers bring back the Redemption Island person whenever it will cause the most havoc. And it's not just because I think Rob is awful, it's because it's such and obvious case of we are all here to give Rob, the three time loser, his change to win, even though we have to hand it to him on a silver platter. I'm surprised his tribe doesn't wipe his butt for him too. The only thing making me keep watching is that the jury is full of people who so far don't seem to have Rob fever, if he gets to the end, I do hope it's against a player worthy of voting for. Voting for Phillip just to not vote for Rob would be as horrible as voting for Rob. Nobody on Rob's tribe deserves to win. This is the closest I've ever come to thinking this game is fixed. uaintjak Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) I don't think it's fixed...I just think casting needs to do a MUCH better job than trying to beef up a bunch of has-beens and wanna-be's. Almost always the more interesting people to watch are the ones who are there to play the game, not the 7/10ths of the cast that seems to come from L.A. every season. It seems the only people on Rob's tribe who were there to play got voted out right away. The rest just look like they're waiting for their acting career to kick in. Well, except Phillip, and even though I despise him with everything within me, I'll have to admit he's not the typical Robot. But even he doesn't seem interested in playing the game. Also, what the fuck happened with people going away for reward challenges? Really? Eat this cake in 2 minutes? What the fuck brain dead chimp thought up that piece of shit reward? Give them a cabana and like, half a day away from the rest of the tribe. That gives both groups a chance to strategize, and, if nothing else, increases people's paranoia. Without that, rewards are just stupid and pointless, and this one takes the cake for that. HAHAHAH SEE WHAT I DID THERE? Yeah, anyway, worst freakin reward ever. They could still have the upper hand, but there's not a player among them and not a brain either. They think they are their way to OZ, worthless season! Please let it be saved by someone with some game! And yeah, I don't think it's fixed, but it's the closest I've come to believing it. Rob's a three time loser, wooo, he gets it handed to him on his forth try. michal Posted April 29, 2011 Here's what I, in my wildest dreams, am hoping will happen. Would this work? Who knows, but at least it would be different & might break up this snooze-fest. There are already 4 people on RI. Next week, switch things up - have immunity & reward first, then tribal council. Now there are 5 people left, + 5 on RI. Have one big challenge - the winning "tribe" gets to go on to the finale to win the Million $$$, the other gets to go directly to the jury. Fair? Maybe not, but let's face it. whoever gets to go back in from RI is going to get all the jury votes, since they've now created this "us against them" mentality. The Zaps are frustrated (as are we) at the lack of game play, so all it will take is one Zap, or RI to be in the finals to get all the votes.
