They sat on RI because they weren't member of the jury yet--they might have gotten back into the game. It's really no different than pre-merge, when the losing tribe doesn't get to sit in on the Tribal Councils.

Not to belabor the point, but what I interpret being said is that the Redemption Island people are certainly going to be on the jury after a certain point, i.e. post-merge and when Dave lost on RI and became the first jury member. After that, whoever was on Rhode Island should have been allowed to attend the tribal councils because they were either going to be on the jury or sitting on the tribe, and thus would have been in on all the tribal councils one way or another. From what Probst has said in the past, those tribals can go on for hours. A lot of information is bound to have been missed.

Did Grant become Amish? That's the only explanation I can come up with for his new look.

 

Right, NC! I thought maybe he was auditioning for the part of Pa Ingalls in a remake of "Little House on the Prairie." I was really happy to see the dreads gone, but the clothes! Grant needs someone to dress him.

 

 

LOVED the Finale Recap, Z! The Baptist Youth Minister simile, the Squeaky and Friend references, reliving the ceremonial burning, the awesome poem -- it was all fantastic! I particularly loved you calling out Production. Incredible job of recapping and a really clever analysis of the three finalists and the final TC.
