bhnole Posted December 13, 2010 Glad to see Brooke and Claire make it, they ran a heck of a race. I know Brooke's voice can be annoying but they never lost their sense of humor and were one of the few teams to really enjoy the race. Did they really allow Prikki and Chad back?????? ff174 Posted December 13, 2010 That ending is misleading. I don't believe that Brooke/Claire, Chad/Stephanie or Pricki/Vicki were invited back. They just showed a lot of teams allowing us to speculate, My understanding is that the only team from TAR 17 is Mallory/Gary. Tsylyst Posted December 13, 2010 Chad and Stephanie recently did a People magazine interview saying they just had their wedding in Florida and were driving back home. ff174 Posted February 20, 2011 As always, I am really looking forward to the Best! Reality! Show! Ever!!! EVER!!! Looking at pictures of the starting line, I notice that the racers look to be starting in the desert. There are scads of windmills scattered about. My guess is that the starting line is somewhere near Palm Springs. That puts the racers about 100 miles east of LAX. Of course, I could be way off, and the racers could be starting in Arizona. It’s like they took all the teams that I didn’t care about in previous seasons, and put them all together into one big “I don’t care” fest. I’m sure I’ll watch anyway, but I have no one to root for at all. I need someone like Natalie from Big Brother, with her simple Bible thumping ways, her oddly lactating boobs, and her wierd fixation on Matt. Now, that is someting I can get behinnd. Furthermore no one has emerged as Team big bucket of crazy yet. You know who I need? Charla and Mirna. I remember them being the occassional train wreck of entertaining. They must have started their real lives, because I'm sure they would have been asked to join this season...train-wreck-teams make for good TV. I'm not cheering for any one team for the win...yet. However, I am on the Mallory needs to lose and get off my TV train. Her voice and annoying cheerful personality annoys the crap out of me. I'm fearful the cowboys are already off to a bad start. I'm tired of alpha male teams with a patina of nice getting all the TARlove. (And dorky friends giving the Globetrotters the solution? Dudes, you're competing now.
